Why wasn't Charon arrested like in the games

Do you think the writers were planning on making a Stark Mountain episode that later ended up being aborted or do they plan on having the character return in a later part of series or even one of the movies?

I just guess the animators forgot to put him in the jail car.

The same thing happened to Paul's Magmortar. During the scene where Reggie tells all of Paul's pokemon that he lost to Ash, his Magmortar was not there at all as if it was missing.

It may've just been a way of leaving the option open for a later Galactic arc without setting anything in stone, but time ran out for DP before it could happen. Or yes, it could've just been an accidental omission.

Sounds like nonsense to me. The could have included him in Buck's episode but obviously chose not to.

Magmortar was probably inside Reggie's house at the time or out in the surrounding areas and there were probably a lot of other pokemon with him belonging to Paul that we have not seen.

R/S remake hints

Charon wasn't really all that important. I think the writer just forgot about him.

I think its because they made the DP series take so long, so they couldn't make him fit xD

I'm guessing he was put into a different police van. He isn't one of the "true" commanders after all.

Likewise we know all those regular Galactic grunts were arrested, but they didn't actually show any of it. We can assume Charon was arrested.

He will be next leader of Team Galactic, like in Pokémon Platinum Version.

It does not matter if Charon was arrested or not. I felt that the writers had wanted to elaborate more with Charon (especially since his past is tied to Rotom in the games), but could not do so because of time constraints.

Good points. Adding him to the scene where Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars were placed in the vehicle would have been pointless other than having him add something like, "Cyrus abandoned us. HAHAHAHA!"

This is pretty much what I think. Leaving a option if they ever want to bring Charon back. Like when J "dies".

Charon is trying to get Heatron, which was suppose to be an exclusive Pokemon, but because they show multiple Heatron, they flush the idea down the toilet, like the Celebi and GS ball idea.

because anime =/= games

Otherwise the anime would have Red, Blue, and Green as the main icons, but they don't ;)

He wasn't arrested, he escaped! And he will provide Ghetis with the Adamant, Lustrous and Grisous Orbs!

Wait, this is the Pokemon Anime...they won't connect events in such and awesome manner.

...that would be pretty awesome though. Although that would require him to figure out how to get the Grisous Orb since Giratina wasn't part of TG's plan, and never showed up in conjunction with them on the show.

Also, I doubt they could have put him in Buck's episode considering something like that plot would require more than one episode.

But if the intent was to have him get arrested, they would have shown it. There was plenty of room in that van for four people, and he's not someone who can just be implied like grunts.

Quoted for possible truth....

Yeah, a Stark Mountain arc would've been awesome.
I mean, seriously, as long as Diamond & Pearl already is, it feels like even more stuff was cut out because of time constraints...

Or perhaps they could have cut out random episodes and put the important stuff in there.
