Wi Fi Problems...

Ok, so explain what this might mean.

My WiFi works. Sort of. I can get on the GTS and I have made a lot of trades on there.

But, when I go to the wireless downstairs of the pokemon center, I connect and everything. Then, I go to trade with someone, it freezes for a few seconds, then disconnects either me if I started the trade, or the other person if they started it.

Any ideas on what to do?
 
don't know what to do, but i have the same problem exactly when connecting through my university's network. it might be a firewall problem.
 
the signal maynot be good if my guess isn't wrong.
GTS only needs your data,but trade/battle with others needs both of yours.
So it needs the better signal.
 
Mmmk, I sat literally right next to the router and it didn't work. Would this be a firewall problem?
