It had only taken a maximum of 20 minutes before they were notified.

The TVs blared the news, interrupting every station anyone could have been watching.

"The Demonic attacks have increased in not only frequency but also ferocity as well."

Winter crouched in her position, growling as released more rounds upon the twisted enemy in the distance. The resounding screech made it all the more satisfactory; she'd hit her mark.

"Over 52 people were found dead in the Northern Aymarian Peninsula, today. This is the third attack in the last week. Authorities are attempting to recruit the Wielder Forces to investigate the strange occurrences."

"Mistress Winter! We're here to-" the reinforcements had come, though they didn't receive much of a welcome.

"Fall back and stay there, dammit!" the incensed blonde yelled, rushing into the crowd of demonic adversaries. The gunshots that rang carried a much a louder clap, one similar to that of thunder. As a Wielder, she held her power at a high regard.

Demons, no matter their power, would never escape her.

That was the power of #24...

"We have new updates! It seems as though #24, the Wielder known as Winter Veriia, is taking on a group of demonic assailants! Reinforcements have been sent to her position!"

The four others watching the programs on the television each held their own reactions. However they would act would be dependent on their own agenda. @Haxie-Kun-infinity; @-Glory Blaze-; @Maelstrom; @Sebastian Michealis;

"Viewers, we believe this is a budding war that is being waged. Praise the Lynchpin, and may our odds be ever in our favor..."

Judas was currently in a hot and dusty shack with a local family. Laying on the couch comfortably eating tortilla chips he could hear the little boy that the family had scurrying around the TV set.

"Did you see that. She was all like 'BANG BANG' and the demons were all life 'RAHHHHH' ...." the little kid yelled and acted out for emphasis, his heavy footsteps indicating stomping and jumping.

"No I didn't actually, if you couldn't fucking tell by now, I'm blind." Judas replied, irritated by the constant annoyance of the little kid.

"Are you going over there too? To fight the big bad demons?" The little kid then asked while prodding Judas with a stick.

"Probably not."

"Woah, can you take me with you?"

"I just fucking said probably not, the fuck is wrong with you."

"Let's go already!"

"Fuck, fine. I'll fucking go chase down that chick. I'll be back in a week." Judas finally relented as he put on the coat the family gave him (Hopefully not inside out) and stepped out of the house, following his memory layout of the place.

"Hey kid, where did they say she was?" Judas asked as he stocked up his motorcycle with bottles of alcohol.

"Northern Arayan Peninsula, hey can I come with you?" the kid asked and then hopped onto the motorcycle anyways.

"Sure, goddammit"

Why does it have to be me? Judas wondered as he checked his blind man compass, feeling the ridges of the letters and where the pin was.

North, got it.

Revving up the engine, he barreled across the barren desert, with a slobbery little kid holding onto him blabbering mostly useless remarks and occasional tips such as "Hey, don't you see that truck coming toward you?"

Alex was sitting on her coach wearing jeans and a blue tee shirt. She was watching tv when the news came on, She got up and hit the record button then sighed. She dashed over to her kitchen and took a slice of bread out of her fridge then dashed to her room and picked up her kanatas. She locked her doors then headed out to her garage.

She openned up her garage and hopped into her jeep with her slice of bread in her mouth, She put her keys in and revved the engine.

Needless to say muchachos, a blind man riding a motorcycle at high speeds with only a slobbery little kid as his eyes, does not work too well.

Judas crashed into a cactus and was soon picking thorns from his skin, cursing all the while.

The little kid was unharmed but still annoying.

Judas stumbled, using the kid as his eyes, to the nearest road and stuck his thumb into the air trying to hail down a vehicle.

His dark aviator glasses hid the fact he had no eyes.

Alex was driving down the road at a fast speed. She noticed a man by the side of the road. She shallower down the last bit of her bread. She stopped the jeep right in front of the man noticing he seemed a bit strong and not that worth running over. "Wielder?" She shouted from her jeep.

Winter let out a short breath, standing to put away dismiss her weapons; them disappearing in a spark of magic. Looking to the dead beast, she sneered. "Dirty job..." she remarked.

"Ma'm, are you alright?" one of the reinforcement soldiers asked.

"I'm fine," she stated, turning to begin walking the other way. "Get yourselves to your base and rest. I need to go patrol for more of them."

"But, ma'm-" they could say nothing before she continued walking in the direction.

She walked with a purpose; she knew what was out there... "Wielders..."

Alex's laziness got control of her. She hit the gas and drove past the man, heading towards the capital. She openned the glove compartment and took a pair of glasses, slipped them on then smiled.

Alex could start to see the capital.

"And that was our ride... Fuck that shit." Judas cursed as he quickly grabbed the kid and ran towards the sound of the jeep.

With one big testimonial leap he jumped onto the back bumper, his steel toed boots going through part of the vehicle.

"Are you a wielder also?" Judas asked as he held on the jeep for dear life

Coralie was hiding in a back alley, her chakram clutched in her hand. Her other held a radio, playing the news station. She had started to move as soon as the story on the demon raid began blaring, and was already in a small fishing town north of the Capital. Unfortunately for her, this was also where she had assassinated a corrupt merchant, and a squadron of policemen were already on her ass as soon as she set foot in the town. Checking to make sure the coast was clear, she darted across the street and took a running start at the wall of a nearby house, catching on to a gutter and pulling herself on to the roof. Surveying the scene, she picked out the attack site as the radio had described it, but it seemed the battle was already over. Leaping down into the street, she continued making her way toward the battleground.

"Yeah! Fight at capital too?" Alex shouted not even moving her gaze away from the road. She slow downed her jeep a bit in an attempt to give the man a chance to get on completely.

"Yeah, this little shit wouldn't let me alone till I went." Judas sighed as he heaved the little kid onto one of the seats and then he said down.

"Where are we? Are we in some sort of desert or forest or tundra? What environment are we in?" Judas asked as he fixed his sunglasses firmly over his eyeholes, becoming suddenly self conscious of his disability.

"Afternoon, Miss." Eliot said to Corallie, jumping down from a lower rooftop, holding a bass guitar. "Do you happen to know where any demons are?"

Coralie whirled, lost flinging her chakram at the intruder, but caught herself when she heard the question. "Not a guard, then? The site of the attack is just up ahead, but it looks like it's been taken care of for the moment. Are you a Wielder?"

Alex glanced to her right, she had twin kanatas resting on her passenger seat. "It's the capital, big city in the desert." She shouted. The Jeep's engine roared as Alex hit the gas Pedal harder.

Alex's jeep entered the streets of the capital, People ran out of the streets in fear of getting ran over.

"That I am. And I take it you are too? I didn't know that they made them so lovely." Eliot said.

"All right. The air tastes different, more polluted, are we in the city yet?" Judas asked as he pulled his steel gloves on tighter.

A bad tugging sensation in his gut told him he might need them soon.

Meanwhile the little kid was spouting useless and rather senseless questions such as "Hey, can I see your swords?" "Who are you?" "Why are we driving?" "Where are we?" "Why is everything so quiet" and such.

"Careful with your tongue, use it too much and it might fall off." Caralie retorted, but she still winked at him and swayed her hips seductively as she walked toward the outskirts of town.

"No, Alex, capital cause it's it boring." Alex shouted rather quickly. Her driving wasn't the best, had currently crashed through five food stalls. She started honking her horn as they got closer to the center of the capital.

"All right?" Judas slowly remarked unsteadily.

Did he hitch a ride with a maniac?

He subconsciously scooted a little farther from the katanas.

Alex picked up her kanatas and removed her glasses. She stopped the jeep and openned her door and stepped out. She placed her kanatas in their holders on her back. "Come on, we're close." She shouted.
