Completely unoriginal thread title aside, hiya! 
I've been a game fan since my brother first bought me a GBC and Pokemon Silver when they were still shiny and new and ridiculously expensive, and an anime fan since the first episode aired in Canada on YTV.
I came across Bulbagarden Forums via Bulbapedia via Wikipedia, and I'm extremely glad I did because you all seem like a really fun group to hang around!
Random Trivia?
+ My favourite generation is a tie between first and second.
+ My current active party in Emerald -- because I'm not cool enough to upgrade to Diamond & Pearl just yet -- consists of Blaziken, Gardevoir, Swellow, Manectric, Altaria, Flygon, Absol, and Milotic (I switch them around, obviously XD). Right now, I'm attempting to beat the Elite Four while only in the low L40s, and after that I'll be on the hunt for a Bagon because I'm a total sucker for Dragon-types.
+ My favourite movie is Pokemon Heroes: Latias & Latios, followed by Lucario & the Mystery of Mew (I seem to have an odd fondness for character death).
+ My favourite characters from the anime/movies are Charizard, Sceptile, Ash, Pikachu, Latias, Gary, Drew, and Brock in that order. (Also, I like May better than Misty, but Misty better than Dawn. I think Dawn's the prettiest, though, if that makes any difference?)
+ My lifelong dream is to find a long, well-written fanfic that features Ash's Pokemon as the main characters. Or at least a long, well-written Ash x Charizard fic, if only because it doesn't seem to exist, anywhere. ;_; That aside, I ship pretty much everything fandom could think of as long as it can be written well and it isn't Original Trainer.
...maybe I overdid the trivia thing, just a little.
