Will Lugia come back?

I have a quick question
Today I attempted to catch lv70 Lugia on HG
unfortunately the dumb beast ended up using struggle, hitting itself with recoil and thus fainting, sigh......

SO, will i get a chance to catch it again????:conangry:

I use the ye olde trick of saving before battle and restarting the game if I mess up, but I didn't know you could defeat the elite four again to have it come back.

I do that a lot but i forget most of the time (no sleep for two days doesn't help either)
