Will Mega Mewtwo X get an anime appearance?

Since they already showcased Mega Mewtwo Y in M16, I've been wondering if the writers were ever planning on introducing Mega Mewtwo X. I know that the focus right now is mostly on ORAS promotion-wise, but with Masuda hinting that there won't be another Kalos installment, I'm kind of worried that the other Mega Mewtwo will get left behind. Also, if there were to be a Mega Mewtwo X appearance, do you guys think that they'll give it to the original Mewtwo and possibly have it confront its female counterpart? Or will they just shoehorn in a third Mewtwo into the mix because they don't care about continuity?

I'm starting to think they'd rather have a different Mewtwo become Mega Mewtwo X. If that's the case, then why not have Mirage Mewtwo become real and embark on a quest to find the original?

I brought this up in my blog. I was hoping TPTB would bring back the original Mewtwo to become Mega Mewtwo X and have him run into M16 Mewtwo. That way, we could have a battle between both Mega Mewtwos.

Mega Evo Act I featured a cameo of both of Mewtwo's megas, seemingly flying together, somehow in their mega evolved forms without any involvement of a trainer/key stone/mega stone (and yes I realize Movie 16 had the same issue)
I'd like that to be explained but at this point maybe it's a lost case and they shoved that cameo just to be able to say they "showcased" Mega Mewtwo X and check it off their list

Yeah, I think the same thing as well. I'm hoping we have a special where the two Mewtwos meet, question each other's existence, and finally figure out how Newtwo was created with the ability to automatically Mega Evolve. Part of me likes to think that Newtwo is actually a reincarnated Ambertwo from the Mewtwo's Birth prologue, just to give Mewtwo a happy ending with an old friend of his....

Actually, that might make an interesting plot point, and it could easily explain there being Mega Mewtwos without having a trainer. Their bond with each other is enough to trigger their respective Mega Evolutions!

I initially believed in the "Mega evolution specials will end in a battle between the two Mega Mewtwo who happen to be the ones from movies 1 and 16", but (rant incoming) after the specials shifted from "cool guy battling cool Pokemon" to "game plots that are too cool and mature for the standard anime", I don't know what to think.

It depends in what does the third Kalos game (if it exists) has in store for Mewtwo, he might get another promotion boost (like Lucario in BW2) or he might get ignored completely.

They probably can't afford to use Ichimura Masachika anymore.

If we see Mega Mewtwo X it'll probably just be a third one voiced by Konishi Katsuyuki.
