Will Satoshi get more than 8 badges for the Isshu League?

With the BW2 gym leaders confirmed (Cheren, Homika, Yacon, Shaga, Fuuro, Arti, Shizui, Kamitsure) there are three gym leaders (Cheren, Shaga, Shizui) that leaves three more options for badge-winning even though Satoshi already has enough to enter in the league.

Do you think Satoshi will win more badges than the 8 he already has? If so, why? With Shaga confirmed to appear, do you think Cheren/Shizui will get the shaft or will they be involved in a different way?

I personally think he'll get more - Shaga and Shizui definitely, not so sure about Cheren (but if he gets an appearance taking a gym leader test or whatever I will not be complaining one iota) with a plot twist somewhere in there that involves him needing more than the usual eight.

I can't see Ash getting any more badges. He already has the minimum total that he needs for the Unova League. However, I can see Ash challenging Shizui and/or Drayden at some point during the World Tournament, and will end up losing to either of them.

Cheren might appear in the anime as well, but as far as we know right now he isn't featured in the new BW Season 2 opening alongside some of the other powerful trainers (Cynthia, Alder, Caitlin, Drayden, and Shizui).

I think that there's a good chance that he'll battle the other Gym Leaders. It could help with training his Unova Pokemon and getting ready for the Unova League. Plus, if he and his Pokemon improve a significant amount through battling these other Gym Leaders, it would help make a high rank in the League more believable. As of now, he would be really lucky to get to the Top 8, so more training combined with a few extra Gym badges could help make him look like a better trainer so he could actually earn his place in the Unova League in a believable fashion. He'll most likely battle Drayden and Shizui at some point, especially the latter in order to promote B2/W2 some more, but I could see Cheren going either way. I wouldn't mind if they did show him taking a Gym Leader test or something like that. I'm not sure how that would work when he'd be taking over Lenora's Gym and I'd like it if he still knew Bianca, but hopefully he can appear at some point.

I think its possible. I do think they'll have Ash win against Drayden and Shuizu anyway, maybe they'll hand him a badge for the hell of it?

Also keep in mind the writers will probably want to show the designs of the badges for those Gyms in the anime.

as filler episodes i can see shizui and drayden being battled to fill in part of the undisclosed three months time. cheren i doubt with an actual gym battle but i could see him being challenged by ash and maybe gettin a second badge of the same type

Ash may meet Shizui or batle him, but not Shaga, BECAUSE SHAGA IS FOR IRIS.

And even if Ash wins, i can't see him getting the badge, the badge will be showcased at the background or something I think.

Well, we know Drayden and Shizui will appear, and Ash might battle at least one if not both of them - but probably not for a badge
I'm not sure if Cheren will appear, but it might happen and Ash might battle him too, though this one will definitely not be for a badge, since Cheren gives the same badge Ash already won from Lenora (which actually makes it harder to introduce Cheren as a Gym Leader in the anime, unless they'll make up a new anime-only badge for him, make him a second Gym Leader together with Lenora like how Striaton had three and now two, or just introduce him with the dream of becoming a Gym Leader one day)

I don't know about getting more than 8 badges, but I think he might battle them. The reason I'm making the distinction is the timeline. With so much before the League and so little time, it's a wonder where they would fit Satoshi battling in two extra gyms. Will they be in the WTJC, well not Shaga but Shizui might.
