Will Team Plasma finally make an appearance in Season 2?

Now that Sakaki/Giovanni is back in the picture, does this mean Team Plasma will finally appear? Could the skipped episodes finally air as well?

Ya know, I think I could live without the 2 Parter as long as they show up.

I mean, it would be just soooo bizarre with the Villain Team of the Generation never showed up AT ALL. :loopy:

If all that work is down the drain, so be it. I just want my Team Plasma, big debut or no!
 
Judging from the recent CoroCoro scans, Team Plasma also appears on B2/W2, so it's quite certain that they'll appear. And the new team looks awfully similar to Team Plasma, because I see some sort of X on top of their black caps, and Team Plasma's hood also has an X. Could this be an indication of a Neo Team Plasma? Who knows. We'll have to wait, and see.
 
wouldn't it be ironic if the Team Plasma episodes in the BW2 series (if they will be in it) gets removed as well?

I hope they make an appearance in the BW2 series, but then again, I also wish they'd show the TP vs TR episodes, and it doesn't look like that will ever happen either...
 
I want Plasma to be in the episodes.

But I think that at the end of Best Wishes, Season 1, at the end of the episode, N and Team Plasma is shown and Team Plasma decides to start doing plans again (after their failure with Team Rocket) and starts their world plans...In Best Wishes, Season 2!

Even if we will see them, I don't believe we'll ever see these skipped eps - they'll forever pretend like these never existed, similarly to how they dealt with Porygon or that Whiscash ep - instead they'd just make a completely new introduction to Team Plasma
I'm not sure though how it'd work if Team Plasma's story in BW2 games will rely too heavily on Team Plasma's story in the original BW... the anime won't be able to mirror it in such case... unless they'd try to somehow quickly start and finish TP's BW story and then immediately move on to TP's BW2 story which... really seems unlikely to me
Better not expect anything...

Agreed. Though an importat difference is that those two didn't have a month of promotion and had something almost everyone wanted to see. But an even more important difference is that they don't bring back memories if one of the greatest tragedies in Japanese history :-(

I didn't really have high hopes of those two airing after hearing they were "postponed" anyway. I still wanna see Team Plasma in the anime though. They could rewrite the two episodes for BW2 but somehow I don't see it happening. Doesn't stop me from hoping though. :p
 
as soon as I heard that the earthquake postponed the TP vs TR episodes, I had zero doubt that they will never play it. Since it looks like that is true, to me it was the final nail in the coffin for that saga of the anime. Who knows, maybe they will make good of their promise to show it, but I know better. It is shelved for good.

Basically writers said "Screw it, theres too many changes and screw ups here, lets just save the good stuff for Best Wishes 2."

Thank goodness they are finally here.

Whats the point? Thats the old Plasma, the one in BW2 are the new revamped version. I dunno what plans they had for the original Team Plasma, but they were scrapped for the newer version and saved for Best Wishes 2.
