So far every Generation has debuted atleast one new Pokemon in the series just before the next Saga starts.
Alot of people thought the league would debut one (Zorua and Zoroark were constantly mentioned) but as it would know seem that won't be happening?
So do you think this saga will reveal a new Pokemon for the "Best Wishes" saga?
If so will it be on the final D/P episode like Gary's Electivire when it debuted in AG192?
If not then how will Ash find out about Isshu, by Professor Oak?

I personally don't think a new Pokemon will debut in the D/P Saga and believe they will wait till "Best Wishes" starts but I would love to know your opinions on the subject?

Why would they wait for Best Wishes? They didn't do that for any of the other sagas, so why now?

I won't be surprised if LT uses a BW Pokémon and this Pokémon is the one to beat Ash after Ash beats Darkrai

They only have so many chances left to do it if they are going to do it. I will agree Ash needs to learn about a new region, and usually what inspires him to go there is that he gets beaten by a pokemon from said region. The Darkrai trainer would be the perfect opportunity, but we can't be too certain. They could spring something unexpected during the closing of DP. There is a slight possibility Ash will learn about the new region in a different fashion than it's been done before, but I wouldn't count on that happening too much. Every ep that passes and a new pokemon doesn't show up makes it more possible, though. Like I said before though, we cannot know for certain unless we are either told one will appear, or it will go down to the final ep, where if it does go that far without being seen, then the chance will be 50/50. Either it does happen, or it doesn't.

Yeah I'm still guessing on LT having a Gen V pokemon. Still think it may be possible that Darkrai's a Zoroark, but feel like that's seeming less and less likely. Doesn't really bother me though.

Heracross is going to evolve.

(seriously, I really think it might be getting one)

Why not? You already said that every past generation has debuted a next gen Poke before the next saga started. Why not this time?

Either the LT will use a Gen V pokemon or some trainer battles Ash with a Gen V pokemon when he returns back to Pallet. Something similar to what happened in AG.

I mean, Ash is going to Isshu, right? The writers aren't going to abandon him as a character for Best Wishes. If that is the case, Ash has to be informed of the region somehow. Whether he battles a pokemon from that region in the Suzuran Conference or afterward, there is still a possibility that he might come across a Gen V pokemon before DP ends.

Wouldn't it be awesome if he didn't see an Isshu Pokemon?

We're getting down to the wire. The only other trainer that could have a profound affect on him in the League is the Legendary Trainer. But that doesn't necessarily prevent them from shoving a Gen V Pokemon in at the last second. They managed to do that with Gary.

However, it would be cool if Ash's presence in Isshu was snuck in at the last second. We all know he's going there, but perhaps not showing him for the first couple of episodes would be a more interesting insertion.

I want Ash to get on the wrong boat and end up in Isshu rather than Kanto. XD

I don't know if before AG192 Electivire was revealed to debut in it but there has been no hint/mention of a fifth Generation Pokemon debuting during the D/P Saga currently.
Unless it's revealed in Corocoro or during an episode summary I doubt they would just put one in without mentioning it, they would hype it up I would think???

Which poke was introduced for Johto I remember Blaziken for Hoenn and Munchlax and Weavile for Sinnoh maybe they'll do the same...maybe if Ash as quoted by Invader Mew were on a boat filled with trainers from Isshu that'd be a funny situation :)

Although you might have intended it as a joke, that would be a great reason fro Ash to get stuck in Isshu. i'm getting tired of the "I was beaten by a next-region Pokémon so I'm going to Next-region and find out about it" scenario. The way they handles Johto was a fresher motive, I'd like the writers to pull something similar (but this time actually solving the issue that sent him there unlike poor GS Ball).

I'd LOL If they had Ash get started like that. Maybe have Team Rocket involved cuz we know they'll be there. I think this guy who Ash has to battle next after Paul will have one, than that will give Ash that idea.

No, but Munchlax was. But one could easily pull an Electivire and pop up just before the next saga.

Is it possible for Ash to catch a Mamepato at the end of DP?

I know he's never got a new gen Pokemon at the end of a region, but there's a first time for everything, right? Heracross Ash's first 2nd gen capture was in Johto. Taillow Ash's first 3rd gen capture was in Hoenn, and Starly Ash's first 4th gen capture was in Sinnoh. (1st gen is excluded for obvious reasons).

I ask because a Mamepato is battling a Koromori in the preview, and is presumably from the first episode (like everything else), except no character we know has either Pokemon, so it seems rather random to see them battling each other.

Although I accept the possibility that it was edited to make it look like they were battling.

But still I think it would be awesome if in the last episode of DP (when Ash dumps everything but Pikachu) and is on a boat ride or some other transportation to Isshu, as Ash gets closer to Isshu a Mamepato flies in and causes trouble or something and Ash ends up catching it.

It would be interesting to see a Black and White Pokemon in the Conference by the Legendary Trainer, but I am guessing that if that happens, then Barry will have his reason to go there also, and maybe Paul if he sticks around to watch Ash if he beats him, also maybe Professor Oak will tell Ash about a new Pokemon (either came from far away like a bird or just a picture) and where it came from, which inspires him to go to a new place.

So you want them to pull a "Hoenn alone" and make the final DP series not the PalletTown reunion/I-must-go-next-region but instead a transission episode between regions? That woul be a neat idea but only if the Memepato shows up as you said.

Although maybe you're thinking thing's way too muchh. Since looong ago it was revealed that at least the first three episodes have been produced, we're not sure if this preview is indeed from the first episode -the footage might instead come from the first arc. I mean, what we saw of Araragi and Iris was indeed from the first episode, but the battles and the butler's appeareance look to me like they come from a later episode, maybe the second or third one.
