Will the other two Pallet Town Trainers ever be revealed?

With Squirtle being Gary's starter (which has evolved into a Blastoise), I was wondering, does anyone think the trainers of the other two Pallet Town starters (Charmander and Bulbasaur) ever be revealed?
 
Not a chance.

It would have happened already if the writers planned to do that. They are irrelevant and too unimportant to the series, especially by this point, anyway.
 
We have a better chance of finding out what was in the GS ball than we do of finding out who those two trainers were. Of course, that's just a snowball's chance in hell vs a snowflake's chance in hell.

Really, the window of opportunity for those two showing up was over 10 years ago. The current target audience would just be confused at who these nobodies are. The people who've been watching since day 1, for the most part, don't even remember that there were two other Pallet trainers & would probably wonder why the hell the writers were bringing them up now. On top of that, I doubt the writers have had even the slightest thought about those two in a loooooooooooong time.
In short, there's no reason to bring them up now, and there hasn't been a reason to bring them up ever since Kanto ended.
 
No. The time for them to appear has long since passed. If they were going to appear they would have done it in the Silver Conference when we finally saw Gary's starter. I doubt that anyone even thinks of those two anymore. Not even professor Oak has mentioned them. LOL, they probably just died somewhere.

Actually, we do know what the purpose of the gs ball was supposed to be. Here's a quote from the bulbagarden article on it:
In an interview with Masamitsu Hidaka in 2008 by the webmaster of PokéBeach, it was explained that the GS Ball was meant to contain a Celebi that was to be the star of a large arc of the Johto saga. However, it was decided that Celebi would be the star of the fourth movie, so the story arc was viewed as redundant and shelved. The ball was left with Kurt with the hopes that viewers would eventually forget about it. This plan, however, failed, as the GS Ball remained one of the most talked-about anime mysteries until the interview.

I know this is kinda irrelivant to the thread, but I just wanted to straighten that out.
 
Nah, as others have said, they're not relevant to the show anymore.
 
Oak already confirmed they gave up being trainers anyway, way back in, "Showdown at the Oak corral."
 
Suppose that Damian (EP011) was the one who took Charmander, and then "left it" to get more powerful?
 
The trainers had at least five badges based on what Oak mentioned before the Poke Corral episode, but again, "they couldn't cut it."
 
If Ash knew the other trainers I could see this being touched upon somewhat with the show actually showing us more about his past. But have they ever really elaborated on his past? Lol, no.
 
I suspect that they were just a plot device to ensure that Ash got Pikachu instead of one of the standard Kanto starters. I doubt that the anime ever had any intention of doing much more with them.
 
I wouldn't think so, no. There are far more plot-relevant things that have been (and are being) ignored and forgotten.

That's what I always thought too. Makes sense, right? It makes Ash stand out amongst snobby losers, it shows that even if he can be vain and boastful, he has a kind heart.

As for the question, no, unless some oldschool fans take over production of the show. Which would be interesting, but equally unlikely.
 
I would imagine a lot of the older fans forgot about them, and the newer fans may not know they existed, so there's no point in bringing them to the show.
 
No, they were just a plot device that forced Ash to get Pikachu. No more, no less, and they will never be revealed.
