I love Misty and Dawn, but I also love May.

May's contest arc was also pretty awesome.

I always wanted the writers to give us a couple of episodes as a special, showing May's Grand Festival.

You never know, the writers could still do so, but if not, do you think they'll at least let us know if May finally won a Ribbon Cup?

I mean, even though May's no longer on the show, she is a main character, and a friend of Ash's, and she still holds importance, IMO.

I'd love to see Drew, Harley, and Soledad again, since I loved them all, but it would be nice to see the results of the Johto Grand Festival.

Maybe they can show Dawn watching May's Grand Festival on TV, right before she begins hers.

Or maybe, if May watches Dawn's Grand Festival and/or Ash in the League, she'll be seen holding the Ribbon Cup or with it in her house, confirming she won.

May had 3 ribbons last we saw her, and a whole new team, she's gotten much better.

I hope we still get to see her battle in future cameos.

Obvious answer is obvious. Yes, of course, we will be acknowledged about her win, if she wins that is. But a battle cameo seems unlikely.

I do think it'd be awesome if she was shown winning it, though.

May's still relevant, IMO, being a main character and all.

The writers may replace the female girls, but IMO, they still serve importance.

They all helped Ash in many ways, and they all gamered fans the years they were on the show, they deserve credit.

The eye candy factor makes no sense, IMO. I don't see them in that way at all.

Well they are supposed to be 10 year old girls. So the eye candy thing shouldn't have been alluded too. Misty and May are very important even if they aren't in the main cast anymore. I think we will be noted if she wins the Ribbon Cup, probably as a passing thing. (Agreeing the 'Double Trouble' a pallet reunion maybe) We could be seeing her in Gen V. After all she left the group to head over to the Jhoto region and that's where Ash and Co are likely to go after Sinnoh.

Fingers crossed for an appearance by May and Misty!

Maybe if the gang is going to the Johto BF, and by the time there in Johto they see a poster with May like " Johto Grand Festival winner May from Petalburg City"

I'm going to say no.

We probably won't hear anything about May's Johto Grand Festival at all.

Why so pessimistic Scott? I thought May was your girl, and that you'd at least have some more hope.

Where'd your May love go? Damn, did you lose all faith in the show once Gliscor left?

Why do you think the writers are constantly going to reference/bother with characters who aren't around anymore?

It's the same reason Max got NO speaking role in DP. As we're moving into the 5th gen more new characters and another new girl will be introduced, so the older characters will get phased out and forgotten. Its already happened this gen to two very older characters.

So then, why watch the series.

If all the other characters will become nonexistent, except Ash and Brock, why is Pokemon still going.

I tell you one thing I damn sure don't watch this show for Ash and Brock.

I found Misty, May, and Dawn much more interesting.

I love Ash and Brock, but I guarantee, if it was just those 2, this series wouldn't be so popular, IMO.

Yeah, just like they did with Marina. Wait, she was mentioned!

But Max wasn't that important. He went back home.

He was still a main character that was there for almost as long as May was.

It's strange that Max wouldn't get a real return for a few eps like all the other major characters did.

May, IMO, isn't irrelevant, same with Misty.

They have fans worldwide, they wouldn't get erased, IMO, the writers aren't that cruel.

The writers do not bring up old characters unless there's a reason to.

Do you guys actually realize how old the AG series is now? It's been almost 4 full years since it ended back in 2006. AG is not "new" anymore, its actually very old.

The writers aren't going to constantly bring up characters from generations ago. Do you not see how rare it is for an old character to show up nowadays?

And wasn't it a long time since the original series ended? But Misty showed up in Pallet Town, after appearing earlier in AG.

I know it is very rare, but that doesn't mean we should stop loving and having faith in past characters.

If this series ever ends, don't you think the writers will show all the main characters accomplishing their goals. I do

May amd Misty both had goals, and both made smarter moves in their careers compared to Ash, IMO.
