Never. The Porgygons are a symbol of the anime's greatest failure. And the Japanese mentality is to simply pretend that failures and embaressments never happened. We will never see any of the Porygons, ever, in the anime.

Wouldn't be surprised if Green's Porygon2 evolves soon in PokeSpe, though.
 
And I ask again, is Porygon3 its real name or is that just what fans are assuming it'll be called?
 
The Porygon line is doomed. Despite the fact it was Pikachu, PIKACHU that created the seizure indicing affects.

BAN PIKACHU! And then replace it with a Porygon3. :p

I'm surprised they're still making new Porygons after what that episode. I mean, why make a Pokemon when you can't use it in advertising?
 
I'd really like to just because these pokemon end up not gettin gmuch known about them, but truth be told it almost certainly won't happen just because of what happened with the thunderbolt.

I've been wondering the same thing for years. I suppose someone at GF really, really likes them.
 
They are cool still, and it's so cool to have a "banned" Pokemon imo.

Isn't Porygon 2 on the Pokemon Center Online Emblem?
 
If they really want to make sure Porygon and its kind are never seen in the anime, they could just have Brock catch it.

Gamefreak probably wants every (non-legendary) pokemon to have a three-stage family before they end it. That's why I have faith in a dunsparce prevo and evo in the fifth gen.
 
Well, the Porygon accident was useful to anime producers due to GS premiere being postponed... without that, they would have to stretch Kanto just like Johto (other thing is, Johto would ba far better then).

The fact they decided to get Porygon back is... weird. I see him in a episode, featuring all Porygon versions xD

Then how come you never whine at the people who post names of future episodes in the thread titles, like the preview/review threads? Go whine at them, jeez, people post spoilers in titles all the time here, even more than those (even though they probably shouldn't) and I'm the first to get bitched at when it wasn't even a spoiler? Jeez, there is no justice.

He probably means he doesn't wanna know what new pogeys are about to be released. =P Sheesh. Have a heart, dude; Porygon3 itself is a spoiler. Being more considerate won't kill you.
