I'll start with a few things I have on my wishlist:

Teleport
Teleport.... the most useless move in the game. I get that teleporting away is the Abra's gimmick, but that should not stop us from using it. I would like to see Teleport become a Special type U-Turn.

Teleport -- Psychic -- Special -- ATT-70 -- ACC-100 -- PP-20~32
Effect - After making its attack, the user rushes back to switch places with a party Pokemon in waiting.

Field Effects
I want a new category for field effects (FE) from attacks.

Each pokemon would have four effect slots. When your pokemon learns an attack with a FE, the player is asked if they would like to add the FE to the pokemon's FE list. You may add to the list if there are blanks, but you cannot teach a FE over an existing FE, for the same reason HMs are HMs, to clear a spot for an effect you must go to a FE deleter.

With this system you could no longer use an effect if you just have the attack, you would have to have the FE equipped. So for example you could take a Starmie and teach it Surf, Waterfall, Whirlpool, and Flash. Delete the attacks, teach it Hydro Pump or something, and still be able to cross all water, and enter dark caves without a slave. Or a Claydol with Teleport and Dig, never get stuck indoors, cave or building. I just think that the HM slave thing has become more of an annoyance then a game balancing system, especially with the number of things to do and places to go after beating the game.

A flying Gyarados
Yes I know he can learn Bounce... I don't care. I want to name my Gyarados Falcor and fly around like its the Neverending Story. :yahoo:

Light Ball charging up all of Pikachu clones and Pikachu-line Pokémon's stats. Charging ALL OF THEIR STATS, maybe except speed.

Fukamaru/Gible and Gabite learning Swords Dance and Brick Break.

Kucheat/Mawile learning Nasty Plot.

Kyukon/Ninetales learning Super Fang through move tutor.

Real jungle terrain, with vines etc. Not like the 'jungle' or whatever it was in Hoenn.

Raichu would be so broken.

Anyway, here's my post from TPM's version of this thread:

First, backwards compatibility is a must, especially with the last Gen 4 games coming out just a year before them. Enough of this one-way transfer though, they really need to bring back direct trading between generations. Another thing that needs to make a comeback from Gen 2 is having 16 badges. I feel like it might be a possibility with them having just remade Gold and Silver and thus exposing a whole new generation of fans to the idea. The best way to go about doing that would be to allow players to go back and explore Hoenn or Sinnoh. Last, I'd like the ability to ride the bike in gatehouses again. Yes, I realize it was made somewhat unnecessary in Gen 4 when they allowed you to run in buildings, but it's annoying to have to mount the bike again after leaving the gatehouse.

There was a "jungle" in Hoenn? o_O But yeah, I've been wishing for a tropical jungle/rainforest too.

Also, a haunted forest would be cool. Eterna Forest had that mansion and the area surrounding it, but I don't think it counts as one... It would be so cool.

I don't want Raichu to be über :/

Also I want Much. Longer. Routes. whit Much. More. Trainers. And no frikin' old lady healing you halfway trough.

Um, wow. Since I focus on the graphics a lot...

Full 3D overworld
More realistic climates, like deserts and jungles
Random weather

Yeah... I don't have much.

It kinda changes things a LOT; but I've always wanted HM's to just be Player abilities; i'm tired of HM slaves. It kinda breaks the game, especially since victory road you can never take you whole party... And then you have to fight your rival with only 5 of your pokemon.

As other's have said, I've always wanted 16 badges again ever since playing Gold and Silver.

My friends and I commonly dream of an "ultimate" pokemon game, that would be perfect.
In this fantasy game there would be all 4 regions so far, totalling 32 badges, and in the game there would be every single pokemon (i was going to say all 493 but... that's different now isn't it xD). Since I live in New Zealand and we never get Nintendo Events down here, when we discuss it, we imagine being able to get every pokemon legitimately, however, I don't know what people would think of that...

I just want a Celebi.

It wasn't strictly a jungle, but I'm talking about the place with really high grass, so high you couldn't use your bike. I always thought that was a failed tropical environment.

Teleport as a Special U-turn would be epic.
I'd really like Fighting types to become immune to Sandstorm and Steel and Water types to become immune to Hail.

Flare Blitz on Flareon.
A priority Grass and Fire Type move.
And yeah maybe some new moveset changes for Pokemon also the return of SecretBases maybe a way you can visit each others on Wi-Fi.

Yes. Make Flareon better. Maybe not Flare Blitz, but instead a new move?

flash fire would have been a good name for a priority fire move, but as that is taken...

It's still a good idea. Wildfire maybe?

I want it to use the DSi's ability to connect using more advanced security settings so that I'm not shut out of the loop considering how Nintendo dropped support for their wifi usb connector.

Even when it still worked on the XP it only worked 30% of the time. None of their vista versions worked for me :/

Then again, my usb connector may have just died on its own :/
