It is not a wolf, however it is the aftermath of the Noble's invasion of a city. Like the reason you never see drawings of the Noble's military is because WR fans don't like weapons and that kind of stuff. I have drawn this picture like 6 months ago but I found out that jpeg's have an enormously lower file size than bmp's. *sigh* If only Pacific Pikachu were still alive to see this.

I've never seen that anime but I've heard of it. Anyways, nice pic.

WAIIIIII! I make my return... Gomen about the delay, you just happened to catch me while I was on vacation in San Diego for a week. ^^;; Hitchi can attest to this. I am by no means dead or inactive. :O

Hey--pretty awesome drawing! I'm incapable of doing landscapes or anything of the sort, so when I see people who can, I'm always impressed. I love all the details you put into all the mechanics of the drawing--particularly the tank and the gun in the foreground. Nifty. I also like the delicate shading and the sense of dimension in the drawing. :)

Hmmm... a few suggestions, just because I feel unhelpful if I don't make suggestions: the lines could be solidified a little more in the foreground to make it stand out a little better. Also, the soldiers are a little bit off-proportion (though their armor looks great). Some more value (range between black and white, instead of just gray) could also help to give the drawing a less muddled look. It has so many things going on that you definitely don't want them blending together.

Another thing I'm impressed with--there is a definite sense of motion in the drawing, which is a hard thing to do. The attention to detail is very nice...even after looking at this for a while, I found myself finding new things about it. ^_^ Good job! Keep up the artwork, and I hope you do more Wolf's Rain drawings sometime, okay? I'd love to see more!

Dude Pacific Pikachu hook me up with some scans of the armoured personnel carrier, you know the one that kind of looks like a truck and has a single cannon mounted in front I want to put it in another drawing. Also scan a shot of Jagura's keep its goigna be the background.

I'll try...but I don't have a working scanner right now, so you're going to have to wait at least a week. Sorry, I'll try my hardest to get them to you ASAP, but I'm pretty swamped right now (especially because I'm now Bulbagarden staff and helping with the layouts). I think I have pictures of both of those in my character designs book.
