May 1, 2009 will apparently see the release of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

The film will apparently feature several mutants we have no yet seen in movies. And, part of the film will be shot in New Orleans. Can anyone say "Gambit"? Probably just a tease.
 
Looks like they've changed the title deliberately to make Wolverine the subtitle... I guess the "X-Men Origins:" thing will be seen again for the Magneto movie, but I wonder if they have any other plans outside of that...

Still, this can't be worse than X3, so looking forward to it.
