The World's Finest has learned additional cast and crew information for the upcoming Wonder Woman direct-to-video news.

Addition casting info is included as part of a bonus feature on the Batman: Gotham Knight DVD release. The bonus feature looks at the upcoming direct-to-video Wonder Woman animated project. The additional casting reveals that Alfred Molina will play Ares, Virginia Madsen will play Hippolyta, and Rosario Dawson will play Artemis. Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion were previously reported as playing Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor.

Wonder Woman, the fourth direct-to-video DC Universe animated feature, is written by Michael Jelenic and directed by Lauren Montgomery, and is based on the legendary 1987 George Perez Wonder Woman relaunch.

The movie, slated to be rated PG-13, will be available Spring 2009.

Nice to see her actually getting a solo movie, even if it is just animated.
