First time posting here, so here goes nothing. Words Cut Deep is about Sam, Hannah, Peter, Bubbles, and Callum. Mostly. But yeah, you'll get it when you read it. I'll post the prologue and first part and then wait for a reply before posting part 2, etc. I don't want to double post, and I don't want a really long post. So here's prologue+part 1 of Words Cut Deep! Enjoy! (Also remember I did the first part way back on June 24th, 2009. So obviously it's crap compared to the most recent part, part 11). I'll probably eventually rewrite the first few parts so that they're not complete shit.

PROLOGUE:
It was always a dream of mine to become Pokémon League Champion. Nobody thought I could do it. Nobody except the few friends I had. They supported me with trust and love. I realise now the mistakes I made and the people I hurt. I would do anything to go back and fix it. Anything.

As I went to bed that night, I couldn't stop thinking that same thing over and over again. As the Pokémon Champion, I'd made many new friends, but they weren't really my friends. They just wanted status. I wanted my old friends back. The ones that I loved and trusted. The ones that helped me along the way. My real friends.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 1: (Don't worry about if you find this part shit, it gets much better eventually)
I woke up the next morning feeling eager and excited. "Why am I so excited?" I asked myself, "It's just another day being the Pokémon Champion"
Then I realised that I was in my childhood home, where I'd lived before becoming the Pokémon Champion. Everything was exactly the same as it was before I'd left on my quest to become the Champion of the Fauno Pokémon League. "Mum?" I called out, "Are you there?"
"Of course I'm here Sam!" she shouted from downstairs, "Where else would I be on your birthday?"
"It's not my birthday though" I said to myself as I walked down the stairs.
As I walked down the stairs, I realised I was wearing my favourite pyjamas that I wore when I was a kid. But for some reason they fit me. "What's happening?" I asked myself as I entered the kitchen, where Mum was making pancakes.
"Mum, I haven't had pancakes since I was a kid!" I laughed.
"But I make them for you every week!" Mum protested, "And you're still a kid! Don't think that just because you're turning thirteen years old makes you a grown up!"
"Mum, I'm twenty-five"
"You wish!"
"How can you not remember?!" I exclaimed, "I beat the Pokémon League ten years ago!"
"You haven't even got your first Pokémon!" shouted Mum, starting to become annoyed.
I stormed angrily up to my room. Then after getting dressed into the clothes I wore as a child but still fit, I looked at myself in the mirror. I stared in amazement. "I must've gone back in time!" I exclaimed, before remembering what I was thinking the previous night.

I would do anything to go back and fix it. Anything.

I couldn't believe it! I had gone back in time to make my life better and fix all of the mistakes I made! "Oh my god!" I shouted happily, "I get to relive my days as an ordinary trainer!"
I ran downstairs quickly and grabbed my bag. "I have to be careful what I change" I thought, "Otherwise I could make my life a lot worse!"
After a goodbye with my Mum, I ran out into the town. It wasn't a very big town, but it was big enough to have a few houses, a hotel, and a laboratory which belonged to Professor Tilia. I ran straight for Professor Tilia's Lab. Professor Tilia had known me since I was little and we had a good friendship. She greeted me and took me over to a machine which held four Poké Balls. The machine had a scanner which told you what the Pokémon in the Poké Ball was. I scanned the first Poké Ball. "Chikorita, the Leaf Pokémon. It uses the leaf on its head to determine the temperature and humidity. It loves to sunbathe" the machine said.
I then scanned the second Poké Ball. "Cyndaquil, the Fire Mouse Pokémon. It has a timid nature. If it is startled, the flames on its back burn more vigorously"
Then I scanned the fourth Poké Ball. I skipped the third because I already knew it'd be Totodile. "Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon. Because its genetic makeup is irregular, it quickly changes its form due to a variety of causes"
"Wow, an Eevee!" I exclaimed, "Aren't those rare?!"
"Yes, but I got this one specially for you Sam!" she announced.
"I'm sorry, but I really wanted a Cyndaquil!" I said sadly.
"Well that's okay!" she smiled, "You can has Cyndaquil and Eevee!"
"Seriously?! Thank you so much!" I shouted with delight, "I'll be sure to bring back a full Pokédex for you as fast as possible!"
"Well, you be careful out there!" she said as she handed me the two Poké Balls, "Trainers in the Fauno Region are tough!"
"I will, I promise!" I hugged her before running out of her lab to show my Mum my new Pokémon

An Eevee and a Cyndaquil, all in one go?

Something's fishy.

Sam, Hannah and Peter have been good friends with Professor Tilia since they were children. The Eevee's get explained in another part. Speaking of which, here's part 2.

PART 2:
When I reached my house, I saw a group of people inside. I walked inside and was surprised to find my friends, Hannah and Peter, along with their parents. Hannah, with her great body, perfect face, and cool personality, was hard to not be friends with, not to mention her stunning brown hair, and although Peter wasn't a Ken for this Barbie, he wasn't bad looking either. His blond hair was usually messy, but it gave him a look that said "I don't care", which is exactly why I became friends with him.
"Sam's back!" Hannah announced to everyone before running over and hugging me.
Blushing slightly, I pulled away and saw my mum crying on the couch. Peter's mum had already cried, and appeared to be out of tears. Not once had Hannah's mum cried since I'd known her. Or at least, in front of me. "So," my dad said, walking up to me, "what starter did you choose?"
"Professor Tilia gave me a Cyndaquil, and an Eevee!" I announced proudly.
"You too?" asked Peter, "Hannah and I got an Eevee along with our starters too!"
"That's what you get when you've been friends with the professor for your whole life!" Dad grinned.
After what seemed like hours of trying to get mum to stop crying, Hannah, Peter and I managed to get out of the door, our bags packed and our Pokémon at the ready.

As we finally walked onto the first route in the region of Fauno, also the most beautiful with it's great Oak Tree's and calmly swaying tall grass, we met another trainer just beginning her journey too. We were avoiding the tall grass when all of a sudden, she jumped out at us. Well, not at us, but towards us. She collided with Hannah and they both fell to the ground. "What the hell?!" Hannah yelled at the strange girl.
"Sorry!" she said with an accent that was hard to recognize, "I was running away from the Skarmory"
"What Skarmory?" asked Peter.
The girl pointed up at a bird flying high in the sky. "That one"
The bird suddenly started getting bigger. Then I realised it was coming for us. I quickly pushed everyone out of the was before the Skarmory got them, but my ankle was slashed by it's sharp talons in the process. I screamed out in pain and fell to the hard unforgiving ground. Peter got out his Poké Ball and tossed it in the air, releasing his Totodile. "Use Tackle!" ordered Peter.
Totodile jumped towards the Skarmory, but the Skarmory was too fast and easily evaded the attack. The new girl got out her own Poké Ball and released a Pokémon that I neither Hannah, Peter or I could recognize. "Use Flamethrower, Flareon!" she yelled.
A huge stream of flame erupted from her Pokémon's mouth and hit the Skarmory, knocking it to the ground. She quickly got out a spare Poké Ball and threw it at the Skarmory. The capture was successful and she let out a scream of joy and glee. "How'd you get a Flareon?!" asked Hannah.
"My aunt gave me a Fire Stone as a gift," she explained, "I had no idea it made Eevee evolve!"
"How'd you get the Eevee in the first place?" asked Peter.
"Professor Tilia gave it to me!" she exclaimed proudly, " I've known her for a while."
"So, you must live in the next town then?" I wondered.
"Yeah, Hartfield Town!" she exclaimed, "By the way, my name is Bubbles!"
Hannah couldn't help but laugh at her name. "What's so funny?" asked Bubbles.
"Nothing. Nevermind," said Hannah, trying and failing to hide a smile.

So we set off to Hartfield Town, in search of a Pokémon Center and a Poké Mart.

Right its good so far, and i loved the line
and although Peter wasn't a Ken for this Barbie

I picked up a mistake in Part 1 as well
"Well that's okay!" she smiled, "You can has Cyndaquil and Eevee!"

You should spend a bit more time on description! We have no idea what Sam or Bubbles look like! Describing the pokemon is also a good thing to do, even if its just a line or so to give the general look.

Now between your paragraphs, you should put an extra line. This makes it easier to read and presents it as not just a block of text. I like the short chapter length, it allowed me to get in to it quickly, but if it was bit longer it wouldn't hurt.

I like your story idea as well, as the idea of some being sent back to their childhood days is quite uncommon, so if done right, this fic can stand out from the others and be great!

I think maybe I did that on purpose when I first wrote it, I don't know. Oh well.

Yeah, I do describe things moar in later parts, don't worry.

Yep, I've been told that before, and have done it with more recent parts. I'll do it for the old ones when I post them here though, just for you. Also, the length definitely isn't a problem later, they get good 'n' long.

I like your story idea as well, as the idea of some being sent back to their childhood days is quite uncommon, so if done right, this fic can stand out from the others and be great!
Thanks! ^-^

Here's part 3:

As we arrived in Hartfield Town, the first thing I noticed was a big mall.
"What's that?" I asked, pointing at the huge building.
"That's Hartfield Mall!" Hannah shouted with excitement, "I've always wanted to go there!"
"Then let's go!" said Peter.
We walked inside and started looking around. This place had everything! Besides the usual Pokémon Center and Poké Mart, there was clothes shops, accessory shops, hair salons, video game shops and a McDonalds! While Peter and I went searching for the latest Final Fantasy game, Hannah and Bubbles went to the hair salon. However, they were disappointed to learn that the hair salon was for Pokémon only, and cost a lot more than they could afford. Unfortunately, Peter and I couldn't find the game, so everyone sat down and we had McDonalds.

After a while, we all got up and went to the Pokémon Center to heal our Pokémon, then to the Poké Mart to buy potions, Poké Balls, antidotes and repels.
"I have an idea!" Bubbles said randomly, as we walked out of the mall, "We should go to my house!"
"Why?" asked Peter.
"My other Pokémon are there!" said Bubbles proudly.
"You have more Pokémon?" Hannah was astounded.
We'd already seen one strong Pokémon, plus the one she just captured. How many more did she have?
We followed Bubbles to a nice house that seemed fit for a decent-sized family. We walked inside and were immediately greeted by Bubbles family.
"Who are these people?" asked her little brother.
"These are my new friends!" said Bubbles, "Sam, Peter and Emma."
"It's Hannah!" shouted Hannah furiously.
Peter and I calmed down Hannah before Bubbles took us upstairs to her room. On her bed were two Poké Balls. She picked them up and released the Pokémon. The first Pokémon was an Ivysaur.
"This was my starter Pokémon!" Bubbles said, "Back when Professor Tilia was giving out Kanto starters!"
The next Poké Ball contained a Spoink.
"I picked this little Spoink up on Route 3!" Bubbles said, "He's so cute, but not very good at fighting."
Spoink jumped happily into Bubbles arms. Hannah came over to hug the adorable creature, but Spoink bounced away when she got close.
"He's just shy," said Bubbles, "it's nothing personal!"
Still, Hannah got mad and stormed off, downstairs and outside.
"BRB!" said Peter before racing down to calm Hannah down.
"What's BRB?" asked Bubbles.
"Never mind," I said, shaking my head.

After Peter came back up and told us that Hannah had calmed down, we all went outside and headed to Route 2. As soon as I entered the tall grass, a Pokémon attacked me. It was an Absol and it used Zen Headbutt. It knocked me down, but kept using Scratch and Bite. I managed to reach Cyndaquil's Poké Ball and let it out.
"Flamethrower!" I shouted.
Cyndaquil used Flamethrower, knocking Absol to the ground and just barely missing me. I grabbed a Poké Ball and threw it at the Absol. Absol seemed to struggle inside the Poké Ball, but eventually gave up and was captured.
I picked up the Poké Ball and let Absol out. Absol didn't run away, instead hiding behind me. I looked up and saw Hannah dancing around.
"Why are you dancing around?" I asked, "I'm the one who caught an Absol!"
"I'm just happy for you!" she said gleefully.
Peter, Bubbles and I just stared at her until she stopped dancing.
"She's adorable," said Bubbles, referring to my Absol, "Her fur is so pure and white!"
"Thanks!" I said.

After checking Absol out on my Pokédex, we continued along Route 2, towards Epica City, where the first gym was situated. Bubbles had already been there and got the Power Badge, so she told us all about the gym leader, Caitlin, on our way there.

Erm, arent absol quite rare pokemon? I think its quite strange for a new trainer to catch one, never mind find one!
You need to spend more time writing out your battle scenes,as it was way to short. Try using description, especially on the attacks they are using, for example:

I entered the tall grass, and was soon engulfed, quickly losing sight of my feet. As i explored around, i heard a rustling, spinning around, i felt an impact in my chest and was thrown to the floor. I looked up to see my attacker and saw an Absol standing above me, snarling.
I quickly grabbed for Cyndaquils pokeball before the Absol could hit me again. I threw the ball into the air, and Cyndaquil appeared with a flash of light.
The small pokemon's back burst into flame as it prepared to defend me, and i pulled myself to my feet, ready for battle. The Absol bared its teeth, and then charged at Cyndaquil, leveling its head at my pokemon. I knew i had one chance.
"Cyndaquil! Flamethrower!"
My pokemon tensed its body, and released a streaming inferno at Absol, lifting the much larger pokemon off its feet and depositing it in a crumpled heap a few meters away. I took my chance. I grabbed a spare pokeball from my waist, and flung it with all my might at the wild pokemon. The pokeball quivered once, twice, three times, then laid to rest. The Absol was caught.

By simply expanding on the points, you can make the abttle last longer, and also make it more enjoyable to read.
A good poitn was teh interaction between Hannah and Bubbles. The small things, like having bubbles forget her name and having Spoink run away from her are good things to get introduced early, as you can have them as a recurring joke.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

About Absol's rarity, keep in mind that this is a different region, they're not rare in Fauno. Still slightly uncommon though. And thanks for the tips. I'll be sure to add description like that in the next part I do (It's at Part 11 now, the next one's a contest). Once I get some motivation that is. I'll post Part 4 tomorrow. Maybe Part 5 too.

Here's Part 4:

As soon as we entered Epica City, Bubbles took us straight to the gym. Inside the gym, we heard voices coming from another room. We followed the voices, and they led us to a room where Caitlin and three men were having lunch together with their electric-type Pokémon. Caitlin looked up and saw us.
"Nice to see you again Bubbles!" she said, "You looking for a rematch?"
"No, I'm just here with my friends," Bubbles replied, "Sam, Peter and Emma."
We stopped Hannah before she could start yelling, but she still stormed outside.
"Anyway," said Caitlin, "these are the electric-type gym leaders of Kanto, Hoenn and Sinnoh!"
The youngest man stood up and offered a handshake. "I'm Volkner."
"Hi," we all said shyly.
Then the oldest man introduced himself. "My name is Wattson!" he said cheerfully.
Finally, the other man stood up. He was one of the tallest men we'd ever seen. He was dressed like someone in the army. "I'm Lieutenant Surge!" he said proudly, "I was in the war! Electric Pokémon saved my life!"
Peter, Bubbles and I just stood there, staring at his big muscular body, wondering if he could crush us. "We don't want to get on his bad side," Peter whispered to me.
I nodded my head in agreement.
"So," said Caitlin, breaking the awkward silence, "who's up for a battle?"
"I don't think I'm ready for a battle just yet," said Peter, "I want to catch at least one more Pokémon first!"
"I just want to be a coordinator!" Hannah said, suddenly appearing again and dancing around the room, "La la la!"
"I guess it's just me then," I said, embarrassed by Hannah's dancing.

We all went out to the battle area. Caitlin and I went to opposite sides of the gym, while everyone else sat down in the stands to watch. There were other trainers arriving and sitting down to watch. I had myself a crowd.
"Go Pichu!" Caitlin threw a Poké Ball into the air, and Pichu appeared.
"Go Cyndaquil!" I said, throwing Cyndaquil's Poké Ball into the air.
"You may start," offered Caitlin.
"Use Flamethrower!" I ordered.
Cyndaquil released a red-orange flame from its mouth. It hit Pichu, knocking it down to the ground. Pichu was burned, and continued to recieve damage from it.
"Volt Tackle!" shouted Caitlin.
Pichu started running at Cyndaquil, engulfed in electricity.
"Use Quick Attack to dodge!" I yelled.
Cyndaquil Quick Attacked out of the path of the speeding Pichu. Pichu was going much to fast to stop, and kept running, towards me! I jumped out of the way just in time as Pichu slammed into the wall behind me. The referee came over and announced Pichu unable to battle.
"Go Sam!" Hannah cheered.
"Alright then," Caitlin said, grabbing another Poké Ball, "go Pikachu!"
Pikachu's battle went much the same as Pichu's, only it was going faster when it slammed into the wall.
"That's it!" said Caitlin angrily, "No more going easy!"
She threw a Quick Ball and Electrode appeared.
"Use Quick Attack!" I shouted.
Cyndaquil ran quickly at Electrode, a white trail created behind it.
"Explosion!" Caitlin yelled.
Just as Cyndaquil hit Electrode, it exploded, sending Cyndaquil flying into the wall behind me. The referee announced both Pokémon unable to battle. I returned Cyndaquil and got another Poké Ball.
"Go Eevee!" I shouted, throwing the Poké Ball into the air.
"My last Pokémon," Caitlin said, "I'll make it count!"
She threw a Poké Ball into the air and Raichu appeared.
"Iron Tail!" she shouted.
Raichu used its tail to slam Eevee into the ground. It used its tail to keep Eevee pinned to the ground, almost unable to move.
"Sand Attack!" I yelled.
Eevee used her paw to scoop up some sand and dirt from the ground and throw it into Raichu's eyes. Raichu was barely effected though, and continued to hold Eevee down.
"Let's finish this!" Caitlin shouted, "Hyper Beam!"
Raichu shot a yellow-orange beam from its mouth, directly at Eevee. Eevee just lay there, not moving, not even breathing.
"Eevee!" I screamed, running up to her.
After a couple of seconds though, she started breathing again. I reluctantly returned her to her Poké Ball and got out my last one.
"Go Absol!" I shouted, throwing the Poké Ball.
Absol appeared, but tried to hide behind me.
"No, you have to fight, " I said, "Do it for Eevee!"
Absol came out from behind me and stood proudly.
"Iron Tail!" Caitlin ordered, but her Raichu had no energy and needed to rest.
Taking advantage of the situation, I said with a smirk, "Zen Headbutt!"
Part of Absol's head started glowing bluish-white. She ran up to the dormant Raichu and headbutted it. Raichu lost balance and fell over. The referee announced it unable to battle. Everybody in the crowd cheered. Peter, Bubbles and Hannah ran over to me and congratulated me. Then Caitlin came over.
"You've definitely earned this," she said, handing me a Power Badge, "and I'm sorry I hurt your Eevee."
"Thanks!" I said, "and I'm sure Eevee will be fine!"

We left the gym and went to the Pokémon Center to get my Pokémon healed. Then we just wandered the streets for a while, until Hannah saw a poster.
"Oh my God, I can get a contest pass here!" she exclaimed.
She ran off towards the Epica contest hall, with Peter, Bubbles and I trying to keep up.

Yay for no comments. I love it. *major sarcasm*

Anyway here's Part 5, it's rather short (I'm working on Part 12 this weekend):

When we got to the Epica contest hall, there was already a big line.
"Wow, there's so many people just like me who want their contest passes!" exclaimed Hannah.
We got in line and waited for what seemed like hours, but was only five minutes. Bubbles, Peter and I were already exhausted though.
"Hannah, we're just gonna go over to that park there and sit in the shade," I said, but she hardly heard me over the noise of the crowd.
We pushed our way through people and got to the park. There was a lady sitting in the shade with a group of Pokémon. I only recognized two, Flareon and Eevee, but the others all looked similair. We walked over to her, staring at all her beautiful Pokémon.
"Excuse me miss," Peter started, "what are these Pokémon?"
"These, except Eevee of course, are what people call 'Eeveelutions!" she replied, "Evolutions of Eevee!"
We all laughed at the portmanteau.
"There's so many!" said Peter, "How do you evolve them?"
"For five of them, you need special rocks," she said, "and the other two need happiness!"
"I have a Flareon!" announced Bubbles, letting Flareon out of its Poké Ball.
Bubbles' Flareon instantly went to the other Flareon. The two went away and played by themselves.
"Wow, those two seem to like eachother!" said Bubbles proudly.
"Would you like an egg?" the lady asked.
"You mean a Pokémon egg?" Bubbles asked, "You'll give me one?
"If you let me keep your Flareon for a while, it might breed with my Flareon," she said, "I'll let you keep the Eevee egg!"
"Cool, thank you!" Bubbles exclaimed, "But how will I know when they've layed the egg?"
"I'll give you a call on the Pokégear!" she said, "Give me your number!"
Bubbles grabbed the lady's Pokégear and put in her number. Then she gave the lady her Pokégear.
"So Emma's your name?" Bubbles asked, "It's nice to meet you Emma!"
We all sat there and watched the Eeveelutions play, while Emma taught us about the different Eeveelutions.
"You boys have Eevee's right?" Emma broke the silence.
"Yeah, why?" Peter asked.
"What do you want to evolve them into?"
"I want Leafeon," I piped up.
"I want Umbreon," Peter said.
"Sam, do you want a Moss Rock?" she asked.
"Yeah," I said, "but I thought you could only get them in Sinnoh."
"Well, I have a Moss Rock here," she said, "and I want you to have it."
"Really?" I asked, "But how long do I have to use it?"
"You can evolve Eevee whenever you're ready," Emma said, "That's the cool part about it".
Emma looked through her bag and found a Moss Rock. She placed it in my hand.
"Thanks," I said.

After a while, Hannah came running over to us.
"I got it!" she yelled, "I got a contest pass!"
"Good for you!" I said sarcastically, "I got a Moss Rock!"
"What the hell is a Moss Rock?" she asked rudely, ignoring the glares she was getting from Peter.
"It evolves Eevee into that green Pokémon over there!" I said, pointing at Leafeon.
"Aww, can I please have an Ice Rock?" she begged, the change in attitude startling, "I've always wanted a Glaceon!"
I looked over at Emma. She shrugged and got an Ice Rock out of her bag. She threw it to Hannah. Hannah grinned and put it in her bag. She really likes to get her way.
"Where's your rock Peter?" Hannah sneered.
"I don't need one to get Umbreon," Peter said, "All I need is love and happiness."
Hannah began to laugh, but I frowned at her and she stopped.
"We can go now!" said Hannah, wanting to get to her first contest quickly.
"Okay then," I said, "let's go."
We all stood up and said goodbye to Emma. Bubbles hugged Flareon, telling her what was happening. Flareon wasn't exactly thrilled by the idea, but let Bubbles go.

After we managed to get Bubbles to leave Flareon, we went on to Route 3, where Bubbles had previously caught Spoink. The next town was Flare Town, so that wasn't going to help Bubbles forget about Flareon, but it was where the next gym was, so it's we had to go.

I'm just gonna upload all the ones I've done so far, seeing as I finished Part 12 today. Don't feel pressured to read them all at once.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, The perspective switches to third person in the Christmas Special, and then switches back to Sam in Part 12.

Part 6:
After going along Route 3 without incident, we reached Flare Town. It was a small town, with a few houses, the Pokémon Center, the Poké Mart and the gym. After quickly going to the Pokémon Center and Poké Mart, we went to the gym. Before we went in, someone came out. She had bright red hair, and was dressed in very little clothing. At her side, a Growlithe and a Vulpix were nuzzling eachother affectionately.
"Hello!" she said, "I'm the gym leader, Nina!"
"I'm Sam!" I said, showing her my trainer card and badges.
"Only one badge?!" she exclaimed, "I'm sorry, but you're too weak!"
"Don't say that about Sam!" Hannah said defensively, "He's a great trainer!"
"No, he's not," said Nina, "And he'll never be if he lets you fight his battles!"
"Just shut up all of you!" shouted Peter, stepping between the three trainers.
Scared by all the yelling, the Growlithe and Vulpix ran back into the gym. Bubbles followed them, interested in the little fire Pokémon, and also wanting to get away from the yelling.
"Come back when you have at least four badges!" said Nina.
"You have to accept my challenge!" I shouted.
"Actually, she doesn't," said Peter quietly, "she can decline challenges if she wants."
"This is ridiculous!" said Hannah.
Bubbles popped her head out of the door of the gym. "Hey Nina, you might want to see this!"
We all ran inside, following Bubbles to Nina's bedroom. Inside the room, an Arcanine and Ninetales stood.
"What happened?!" Nina asked.
"I followed them, and they found the Fire Stone in your room," explained Bubbles, "They touched the Fire Stone at the exact same moment and they both evolved!"
"I didn't think it was possible!" exclaimed Peter.
Nina turned to a draw and took out a Burn Badge. She placed it in Bubbles' hand.
"What's this for?" Bubbles asked.
"I've been looking for that Fire Stone for ages," Nina explained, "I want to thank you for your help."
Hannah looked as mad as a Spoink that had lost its pearl.
"You gotta be kidding me!" she shouted, "She only has one badge too!"
"Well if Sam had helped me find it, he would have got the badge," said Nina, "Now go away, all of you!"
Hannah stormed off angrily, me running after her trying to get her calm.
"It's not that big a deal!" I said, "We'll just have to come back!"
"Yes, it is a big deal!" Hannah shouted, tears forming in her eyes, "I wanted to see you win again!"
"Am I really that important?!" I shouted.
"You are to me!" she shouted.
A tear dripped from her face, landing on her shoe, which was dirty from all the walking. I blushed, going as red as a Magby. She turned around and ran off, onto Route 4. Peter and Bubbles came out of the gym and asked me what happened. All I said was that she ran off and we quickly ran after her. When we caught up with her, she was sitting by a river, talking to a group of Wooper and one Quagsire that had gathered around her. Peter went up to her and put his hand on her shoulder. She got up and turned around. Her face was wet with tears now. She hugged Peter. All I could do was stand and watch awkwardly. After Peter convinced her not to leave the group, we continued along Route 4, Hannah and I trying to avoid eye contact, for when we did catch eachother looking, we both turned away and blushed. Bubbles seemed to catch on, and started talking about love, and how in love that Growlithe and Vulpix had been. Overall, it was one of the longest, awkwardest walks I've ever had.
Part 7 (Christmas Special, for the Bulbagarden contest):
It was Christmas Eve, and Hannah didn't have much time left. After constant pestering by Sam and Peter, Hannah finally decided to buy Bubbles a gift. The group had gone back to Hartfield Town because of the huge mall, and also because Bubbles' parents lived there, so they would provide a place to stay. Finally, on the last day before Christmas, Sam and Peter convinced Hannah to buy Bubbles a present for 2 reasons. Reason 1: Bubbles' parents would be there to see Bubbles not get anything. Reason 2: Bubbles was buying her a gift. So Hannah ran to the mall, desperately trying to find something to buy Bubbles before time ran out. She let out her Pokémon in the middle of the mall.
"Chikorita, Eevee, I need your help," she said, "I need to find a Christmas present for Bubbles, so I want you to go and search the shops for something she'd like!"
Chikorita and Eevee nodded and ran in seperate directions. Chikorita went to the CD shop, while Eevee went towards the make-up stands. Hannah went into a clothes shop called Harleys. Harleys had a bunch of crazy cosplay clothes, such as a Cacturne outfit. Hannah left the store immediately and went over to a different shop. She went inside and talked to a shop assistant.
"Excuse me, do you know Bubbles?" she asked.
"Yes, that weird girl who used to come here often," he responded, "she hasn't been here in a while".
"I need help getting a present for her," said Hannah, "Do you know what she would like?"
"I reccomend this t-shirt here," he said, pointing at a pink shirt, "It's all the rage these days".
The pink shirt had a picture of a Paras eating croissants and wearing a béret with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
"I'll take it!" Hannah grinned, "And can I have one for me too please?"
"Sure!" said the man as he put the shirts in a bag, "That's $40".
"Wow, cheaper than I expected!" Hannah said happily.

Now that Hannah was finished shopping, she had to find her Pokémon. First she went to the make-up stands. Eevee was running away from two security guards. She was covered in make-up and when she shook herself, the guards and everything around her was also covered.
"Eevee!" called Hannah, "Come here!"
Eevee saw Hannah and ran to her. She jumped into her arms just before a security guard could grab her. The security guard got up.
"You're gonna need to pay for that make-up miss," he said angrily, "and the damage to the stands!"
"I didn't do it!" Hannah shouted angrily, "I don't even know what happened yet!"
"You're Eevee tried to try on the make-up, but spilled it everywhere!" he said, "When we tried to catch it, it ran away and made a mess!"
"Sure she did," Hannah said sarcastically.
"Miss, you're going to have to come with me," the security guard said, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"When hell freezes over!" Hannah bit the security guards hand and ran as he fell to the ground, his hand bleeding.
"Get her!" he called to a couple of security guards ahead of Hannah.
She easily ducked under their arms and continued running, towards the CD store to get Chikorita.

When she got there, a security guard had Chikorita cornered. Hannah stepped in front of the guard.
"What's going on here?" she asked angrily.
"This Chikorita tried to play a CD," he shouted, pointing at a scratched CD on the ground, "but because she has no hands, she picked it up with her mouth, damaging it!"
"It's not her fault!" Hannah shouted, kicking the guard in a painful place and picking Chikorita up. She ran out of the store and towards the main entrance of the mall.

There was about ten security guards, lined up in front of the main entrance with their Growlithe beside them. Before they could see her, she turned into a shop. It was the same shop she got the t-shirts from before. The shop assistant was still there too.
"Hey, I need your help again," Hannah panted before putting Chikorita and Eevee down and returning them to their Poké Balls.
"What can I do for you this time?" he asked, "Need some pants to go with that t-shirt?"
"No, I was wondering if you had a back exit".
"Yes," he said, "but why?"
Hannah whispered to him about her crazy day.
"Okay, I guess I can let you go," he said reluctantly, "Follow me".
He led her into the employee lounge, where a bunch of employees would normally be relaxing. The room was quite dreary. There was a small kitchen with a microwave and a coffee machine, and a couple of couches in front of a TV. On the table was a stereo, which was playing Michael Jackson's song, Dirty Diana.
"Where's everyone else?" Hannah asked.
"Everyone decided they didn't want to work on Christmas Eve and called in sick," he said, "I'm the only one here".
"Well if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have a good present for Bubbles, and I wouldn't be escaping those guards," Hannah said, looking around the room.
She saw an employee of the month picture. It was for this month, and the name under the picture was Callum.
"So your name's Callum?" Hannah asked.
"Yeah, how'd you know?"
"Just a guess!" she lied.
Callum walked over to a big metal door at the back of the employee lounge. He took out a key chain with five keys on it. He chose the biggest one and stuck it in the keyhole on the door.
"Thanks," Hannah said.
"Anytime!" Callum said.
Hannah leant forwards and kissed Callum on the cheek before walking through and then shutting the door. She quickly ran back to Bubbles' home.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The next day, Hannah had already wrapped Bubbles' present and it was under the Christmas tree. At 9:00 am, Bubbles' parents woke everyone up and told them to come into the lounge because they had a surprise for everyone. Hannah, Peter and Sam all walked into the lounge slowly, obviously grumpy at being woken up so early. Bubbles was already dressed and jumping around excitedly. They all went into the lounge, and as promised, they were surprised. Hannah, Peter and Sam's parents were all there, along with Hannah's little brother, Jack.
"What're you all doing here?" Sam asked.
"We invited them all for a Christmas dinner!" Bubbles' mom said happily.
"Plus, we needed to give you all your presents!" Sam's mom winked.

Everyone gathered around the tree to open their presents. Peter got an iPod from his parents, an Old Charm from Bubbles, a Contest Pass and a Fashion Case from Hannah and a Coin Case from Sam. Hannah also got an iPod from her parents, a Fashion Case from Peter, a Pokémon egg from Bubbles, a journal from Jack and a Lunar Wing from Sam. Sam got a PokéGear from his parents, an Itemfinder from Peter, an Amulet Coin from Bubbles and an Armor fossil from Hannah. Bubbles got a Poké Radar from her parents, the t-shirt from Hannah, a photo album from Sam and a GB Player from Peter.

Then the doorbell rang. Hannah opened it. Callum was standing there with a bouquet of roses and a wrapped present.
"What're you doing here?" Hannah asked, secretly happy and excited.
"I'm here to wish you a happy Christmas and give you a present," he said, before kissing her in front of everyone.
Sam looked away angrily, while Hannah's parents looked at Callum suspiciously.
"Do you want to introduce us?" Hannah's dad interupted the silence.
"Sorry dad," she apologized, "This is Callum, he helped me out yesterday".
"And what's he doing kissing you?" Jack asked, loving Hannah's embarrasment.
"That's none of your business, Jack!" Hannah shouted.
"If you two want a moment alone, you can go to my room," Bubbles offered politely.
"Thanks Bubbles," said Callum, before being dragged away by Hannah.

"What do you think you're doing?" Hannah asked, "I like you, but I'm travelling. We can't be together!"
"That's why I want to come with you!" Callum said, hugging Hannah, "Now, are you gonna open your present?"
"But I didn't get you one!" Hannah pointed out.
"All I want for Christmas is you!" he said.
"Way to be original," Hannah said sarcastically.
"Seriously, you don't need to get me a present if you let me travel with you!" he said.
"Fine!" she said, kissing him, "Now, lets see how much you've managed to spoil me!"
Hannah ripped open the wrapping paper. It was a photo frame, and in it was a picture of Hannah kissing Callum.
"How'd you get this?!" Hannah asked.
"I got it from the security tapes when I was getting rid of the evidence!" Callum laughed.
"There was security cameras?!" Hannah gasped.
"Chill, I got rid of the evidence!" Callum grinned.
"This is so romantic!" Hannah said, "I'll keep it forever!"

Hannah and Callum went back into the lounge, where everyone had already started cleaning up the wrapping paper.
"Mom, dad, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Callum!" Hannah said proudly.
"Honey, could I talk to you in private?" Hannah's mom said, taking her back to Bubbles' room.
Callum went over to Bubbles, Peter and Sam.
"Hi, I guess I'm gonna be travelling with you guys!" he said cheerfully.
"Nice to meet you!" Bubbles said, hugging Callum, I'm Bubbles!"
"It's okay, she hugs everyone," said Peter, pulling Bubbles off, "I'm Peter!"
Sam didn't say anything.
"Sam, I think he wants to know your name," Peter nudged him.
"Well, he can figure it out for himself then!" Sam shouted, before running out of the house.
"Damn it, why do I have to put up with this?" Peter sighed, before running after Sam.
Part 8:
After Christmas, Hannah, Peter, Sam, Callum and Bubbles were tired from walking. They wanted to catch up for the time that they lost by going back to Hartfield Town. As they were walking through a forest, Sam noticed something on his new PokéGear.
"Hey guys, theres a little lakeside hotel up ahead called Lakeside," he said.
"How original," Hannah said sarcastically.
"Should we stay there?" Sam asked.
"Did you say Lakeside?!" Bubbles suddenly shouted happily.
"Yeah, so?"
"We have to go there now!" Bubbles shouted before running off.
"Does she even know where she's going?" Peter asked.
"Probably not," said Callum.

When they finally caught up with Bubbles, she was already standing outside the hotel gate. She was exhausted from running, but that didn't stop her from yelling at the gate to open.
"Bubbles, you need to go to the main office," Callum pointed to a small building a little to the left of the gate.
They went inside. The small room had a front desk, some pamphlets and a free computer. Behind the desk was a woman dressed in a fancy purple dress.
"Excuse me miss," Bubbles said, "Could I please get a room with two double beds and a single?"
The woman looked at the kids strangely.
"Sure," she said, "I'll just need your names".
The woman quickly typed their names into the computer and then gave them a pamphlet.
"This will tell you everything you can order for room service, activities in the hotel or nearby and how much they cost," she said.

When they found Room 19, they got inside and unpacked some stuff.
"Bubbles, why'd you get two doubles and a single?" Peter asked, "I can understand Hannah and Callum sharing a bed, but who's going in the other?"
"You and Sam are sharing it!" she smiled, "You are so silly sometimes!"
Peter blushed, "Okay, that's fine".
The room was very fancy. Linen bedsheets, a glass chandelier and it even had a little kitchen.
"This is going to be so expensive," Callum said, "We definitely have to split the cost".
"No, I can pay for it," Bubbles offered.
"I'm not gonna let you waste your money on us," Sam said, "You're really too kind for your own good".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next day, Bubbles was up first. She was looking through the pamphlet.
"There!" she exclaimed, pointing to an advertisment, "That's where we're going today!"
"What is it?" Hannah asked.
"You'll just have to wait and see!" Bubbles said.

After getting up and dressed, they followed Bubbles down a small path. Then they came across something amazing. A huge lake with bubbles floating all around it.
"Wow, that looks amazing!" Hannah exclaimed, squeezing Callums hand, "Where are the bubbles coming from?"
"When the weather's good, the Krabby come down to blow bubbles," Bubbles said, "All those bubbles catching the suns rays off the waves, it's always beautiful!"
"How do you know?" Callum asked.
"I always used to come here as a kid when I was feeling sad," Bubbles said, "According to my parents, I was named after these bubbles".
Everyone sat down on the sand and stared at the beautiful sight.

Suddenly, the bubbles stopped. The Krabby ran away. Everything went dark. Sam looked up.
"What is that?!" he pointed to a huge airship in the sky, blocking the sun.
The airship had an insignia that looked like a lightning bolt. Then, a woman dressed in a strange outfit ran out of the forest with her Plusle.
"Hey you!" she shouted, pointing at them, "Can I have a hand stopping that airship?"
"Why?" asked Hannah, staring at the womans strange teal hair.
"They have Zapdos!" she said, "They're a team of highly trained theifs who steal electric Pokémon!"
"Okay," said Callum, "We'll help!"
The woman ordered her Plusle to use an electric attack on a nearby Fearow that was preening itself to paralyse it. She then got out a strange device and drew rings around the Fearow.
"Capture complete!" she said, "Now Fearow, we need a lift!"
The Fearow called a couple of other Fearow and everybody hopped on. The Fearow flew up towards the airship. When it got close enough, everyone jumped onto the roof of the airship. Peter had trouble staying on and almost went flying off, but Sam managed to catch him before he fell to his death.

They went inside the roof entrance and split up, Hannah, Callum and Bubbles going to the main control room, the others going to the room which held Zapdos. They managed to evade the guards until they got to their respective rooms. Hannah burst into the control room first.
"Stop right now!" she shouted.
"Who are you, Sporty Spice?" asked a nearby guard, "Get lost little girl".
"Now thats no way to talk to our guests!" said a voice, "Go put them in the prison cell instead!"
A big chair in the middle of the room turned. Sitting in it was an old-looking man with grey hair and a walking stick.
"I'm the boss of this whole operation," he said, walking up to Hannah, "You can call me Sir Lightning!"
"I don't care who you are," said Hannah, "But you're going to stop this and let Zapdos go!"
"We've already got that Ranger girl and her friends in the prison cell," he said, "Just go join them now!"
Two guards grabbed Hannah while more guards got Callum and Bubbles. They led them to a small room with barred windows and big metal doors.
"In you go Sporty Spice," said the guard as he pushed her in, making her fall over, "Have a nice stay!"
Before Hannah could get up, Callum and Bubbles were pushed in as well, falling on top of her. They all got up and looked around. There seemed to be no possible escape. They looked to the cell next to them. Sam, Peter and the Ranger were chained up in there!
"Sam!" Hannah called, "It's Hannah!"
Sam got up and walked over to the bars.
"There's no way out of here," he said sadly, "Not with Solana and her Plusle tied up!"
"Ah, so that's her name!" Hannah exclaimed, "I've been wondering!"
"Can't you just use your Pokémon?" Callum asked.
"They took them off me!" Sam cried, "We're stuck here!"
"They didn't take mine!" Hannah said, "I can get us out of here!"
Hannah called out Chikorita and Eevee. She checked her bag to make sure the egg she got from Bubbles for Christmas was okay. Then, it started cracking.
"Oh my god!" Hannah shouted, "The egg's hatching!"
Piece by piece, the egg fell apart. There was a fluffy red-brown creature inside, pushing away the breaking pieces. When enough egg was gone, the Pokémon climbed out of the eggshell.
"It's a Vulpix!" Hannah exclaimed happily, "An adorable little Vulpix!"
She picked up the Vulpix and hugged it perhaps a bit too tight. Vulpix used Energy Ball at Hannahs chest, knocking her down. She recovered instantly.
"How does it know Energy Ball?!" she asked Bubbles.
"I got Emma to breed her Leafeon with Nina's Ninetales!" revealed Bubbles, "So it knows Energy Ball from birth!"
Hannah hugged Bubbles, much to the astonishment of Sam and Peter. Bubbles grinned and squeezed Hannah as hard as she could.
"No, stop!" shouted Hannah, "That hurts!"
Bubbles put Hannah down and then sat in the corner, waiting for Hannah to break the bars of the cell.
"Vulpix, Energy Ball!" Hannah ordered.
The bars broke instantly.
"You're so strong!" Hannah hugged Vulpix, to be blasted by an Energy Ball again.

Bubbles knocked out a guard and stole his keys. She freed Sam, Peter and Solana and they ran to the room where they were holding Zapdos. Sam used his Pokémon to distract the guards while Bubbles went to the controls of the machine that was holding Zapdos and freed it. Solana captured Zapdos to calm it down and Sam finished off the guards. Then a huge door opened at the back off the room. The suction was too much and everyone went flying out of the airship. They were well past the lake and there was nothing to soften the horrible, bone-crushing landing that was about to happen. Then, Zapdos caught them on it's back. It flew down to the ground and let them off.

"Thanks Zapdos!" Solana said, "You can go now!"
Zapdos took off and flew into the distance, in the opposite direction to the airship. The sun was setting now, and it was getting dark.
"It's too bad Sir Lightning got away," said Callum as they were walking back to the lake.
"It's fine, I put a tracking device on the ship," said Solana, "Other Rangers are already on their way to it!"
"That's good," said Bubbles, "But I hope they haven't permanently scared the Krabby".
They reached the lake. The sun was still just up and the Krabby had began tl come out of their hiding places. A Krabby went up to Bubbles and happily foamed at the mouth.
"Mr Krabby!" Bubbles exclaimed, picking up the Krabby and hugging it.
Everone looked at her as if she were crazy.
"Why are you hugging that thing?" Hannah asked.
"This 'thing' was my best friend when I was little!" Bubbles grinned, "But I was too little to catch Pokémon back then!"
Mr Krabby pokes at an empty Poké Ball on Bubbles' belt.
"You wanna come with me?" Bubbles asked.
Krabby nodded and blew a bubble, which went over to Hannah and popped in her face.
"Agh!" Hannah screamed, rubbing her eyes, "Why do your Pokémon always hate me?!"
Callum hugged her and they started walking back to the hotel. Bubbles got the Poké Ball and lightly tapped Mr Krabby. He went in and happily became hers.
"I got a new Pokémon!" Bubbles shouted happily.
"Because thats so hard to do," Peter said sarcastically.
Sam elbowed him, "Since when are you sarcastic?"
"I'm allowed to be!" Peter said, "You're sarcastic all the time!"
"But you're just not the type to be sarcastic," Sam pointed out.
"So?" Peter said, turning and running to catch up with Hannah and Callum.
"Whats up with him?" Sam asked Bubbles quietly, "He's been acting strange all day!"
"I think I know," Bubbles said, still hugging her Krabby, "But it's not my place to say".

Sam and Bubbles said goodbye to Solana and walked back to the hotel, to prepare for a long day of walking tomorrow.
Part 9:
The group had stopped at a park in the small town known as Mistlim Town. There was a playground and all the Pokémon were playing on it and Sam, Callum, Peter, Hannah and Bubbles were sitting and watching them. Everything was quiet and peaceful. But then Peter stood up.
"I have the least amount of Pokémon out of everyone here," he announced, "I think I need to catch some more!"
And with that he walked into the forest, his Totodile and Eevee following him. After a while, he stopped. He was tired. Then, a Rattata came running out of a bush. Peter put stepped in front of it.
"Totodile, Water Gun!" he said.
The Rattata was blasted with a weak spurt of water. But this was enough to make it faint. Peter threw a Poké Ball at the Rattata, and just as the Poké Ball made the success sound, a girl ran out of the bushes.
"Aw man, that was my catch!" she said with a notably Australian accent.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know," Peter apologized.
"Can we trade?" she asked.
"I guess," he said, "Lets go to the Pokémon Center.... I'm sorry, what's your name?"
"Erin," she said, "Erin Smith!"

They walked back to the park and she met the rest of the gang. They walked to the Pokémon Center from there.
"Welcome!" said Nurse Joy as they walked in the door, "How can I help you young trainers today?"
"We want to use the Trading Machine," said Erin.
"Certainly, right this way!" she lead them to a big machine with a screen in the middle.
"Place your Pokémon inside their Poké Balls and then place those on the tray," Nurse Joy said happily.
Peter put his Poké Ball containing Rattata on the tray.
"Wait!" he said, "What are you gonna give me?"
"Um, how about a Pachirisu?" Erin asked.
"Perfect!" Peter exclaimed, "They're so cute!"
Erin placed her Pachirisu on the tray, and the machine came to life. The images of Rattata and Pachirisu appeared on the screen. Then they swapped sides and the machines noises stopped. Erin picked up her Poké Ball and let out her new Rattata.
"Thanks Peter!" she hugged him.
"Uh, you're welcome!" Peter blushed.
Peter let his Pachirisu out. It ignored him for a while, but was soon hugging him affectionately.

"Now we're even Sam!" Peter said happily.
"Not if I do this!" Sam said, pulling out his Moss Rock.
He gave his Eevee the Moss Rock and Eevee started glowing. It grew bigger and changed shape a little. Then the glowing stopped, and a beautiful Leafeon was standing there.
"Yay!" Sam said, hugging his Leafeon.
"I can't believe you!" Peter shouted, "I finally catch up and you go and do this, knowing I can't evolve my Eevee yet!"
"Pretty much," said Sam.
"If we're pissing Peter off," Hannah said, pulling out her Ice Rock, "I might join in!"
She gave the Ice Rock to her Eevee and it started to evolve. It evolved into Glaceon, and the room instantly got colder.
"I wish Flareon was here," Bubbles sighed, sitting down and patting Mr Krabby.
Then, Bubbles' PokéGear started ringing. It was Emma. Everyone went silent. Suddenly, Bubbles screamed with excitement.
"Flareon had an egg!" she said, "I can go and get her now!"

Bubbles decided that it was worth leaving the group for a while to go and get her Flareon and Eevee egg.
"I'm gonna miss you!" Peter hugged her, "I'll call you if I need anything!"
"Don't worry, I'll catch up!" she reassured them.
After they said their goodbyes, they went their seperate ways, leaving a certain someone without help.
Part 10:
As Daniel, Hannah, Callum and Peter walked down an relatively empty suburban street of Mistlim Town, on their way to the route to the Nexon City, there was no talking. They all missed Bubbles. The group wasn't the same without her. Even Hannah was missing the arguments they had. Hannah and Callum were listening to her iPod, Peter was listening to his own iPod, and Sam was listening to the radio on his Pokégear.
"Hey, what's that?" Peter pointed to a piece of paper stapled to a fence.
Everyone stopped and Sam read it out loud. "Bug Catching Contest, win and not only do you get to keep the Bug Pokémon, you get another prize!"
"Oh, that sounds like fun!" Hannah said, taking her headphones out, "Where and when is it?"
"It says here it starts in.... 1 hour, at the Mistlim Park on Tayesk Street" Peter said, "We better hurry. Sam, your Pokégear have directions?"
"Only routes and stuff, not streets!" Sam said, "Let's go to the Pokémon Center quickly!"
Luckily, the Pokémon Center was only on the next block. When they ran inside, they were greeted by Nurse Joy and then she offered to heal their Pokémon.
"No, we need directions to Mistlim Park!" Peter panted, falling backwards onto the couch.
Then, Erin came running in and ran into Hannah, knocking them both to the ground. Erin was up quickly. She apologized, and then realized who it was.
"Oh Hannah, hi!" she said in a too-nice tone, "I thought you guys had left for Nexon City already!"
Hannah slowly got up, rubbing her elbow that she grazed. "We're not in any hurry".
"Oh really, I thought Peter would be rushing you, what with his dreams of Contest fame," she laughed.
Peter sat up immediately. "Erin, you said you wouldn't tell!"
"Sorry, I'm just super excited for this Bug Catching Comp, so I'm not thinking straight!" she said, jumping up and down.
"You're entering it too?" Callum asked.
"Yeah, I want to get a Shedinja!" she exclaimed, "I heard they're almost invincible!"
"Sounds cool, so lets go!" Sam said eagerly, grabbing a town map from Nurse Joy and running out the door without thanking her.
"That's not very nice!" Nurse Joy called out to him, trying her hardest to sound mad, although she knew she wasn't good at it.
Erin, Peter, Callum and Hannah all followed Sam out the door, taking their time to thank Nurse Joy.
"Thank you too, come back any time!" she called out to them as they left.
"I like those kids," she said to Chansey before getting back on the phone to warn her cousin in Nexon City about the rude boy named Sam.

"So Peter, you entering the contest with Pachirisu?" Erin asked as they walked, "She did good in the unofficial contest I had in Sinnoh!"
"Wait, what contest?" Peter asked, "Where is it?"
"The one in Nexon City, I thought you knew!" Erin said, "It's apparently gonna have some special appearances from Wallace, May and Ursula! And maybe even Drew and Harley!"
"Oh my god, it sounds epic!" Peter screamed in excitement, "All those famous trainers!"
"I wonder if Zoey will be there?" said Hannah, "She recently won the Sinnoh Grand Festival, so she's relatively famous!"
"Possibly!" said Erin, "We'll just have to wait and see!"

"We're here!" Sam shouted from ahead, "Hurry up you guys, we'll miss it!"
They went inside and the judge quickly accepted their entries and hurried them into the park. There was about three other trainers, all having only begun their journey recently.
"This'll be a peice of cake!" Sam said confidently.
As soon as the judge said "Go!", everyone ran off in different directions, except Hannah and Callum, who'd promised to help eachother. Sam instantly encountered two Venonat. He called out Cyndaquil and ordered a Flame Wheel. Cyndaquil hit one Venonat, but the other one dodged with great speed.
"Cyndaquil, Flamethrower on the fast one!"
The Flamethrower just barely got the Venonat, but still caused it to trip up. Sam quickly took one of the supplied Sport Balls and threw it at the Venonat. The capture was successful. Cyndaquil cheered, but Sam stopped him.
"It's not over yet, we can do better!" he said quietly, "Plus we don't want to scare the others off".

Peter saw a Butterfree and called out Pachirisu. "Quick, use Discharge!"
Sparks shot out from Pachirisu, making a lot of Bug Pokémon run away. But the sparks missed Butterfree, and it immediately retaliated with Sleep Powder, making Pachirisu and Peter fall asleep next to eachother.

Hannah and Callum saw a Ledian and Hannah called out Vulpix. "Use Ember, Vulpix!"
The Ledian dodged it and used Comet Punch. It hit Vulpix in the shoulder and Hannah thought Vulpix was done. But Vulpix simply got back up and used Ember continuously, eventually getting two direct hits on Ledian. Hannah quickly threw a Sport Ball at the Ledian and captured it.
"Yes!" she shouted, hugging Vulpix, "I love you, Vulpix!"
Vulpix didn't respond. Then she fainted mid-hug.
"Oh no!" said Hannah, "She was trying to be tough for mummy but ended up getting hurt! It's all my fault!"
"Don't be silly," Callum said, "Now let's go back to the judge".

"Cyndaquil, use Flamethrower!" Sam shouted.
The Yanma tried to dodge, but got it's wing burnt. It fell to the ground and buzzed, trying to fly. Sam felt sorry for it and didn't want to hurt it anymore, so he quickly released the Venonat and caught Yanma.

Once everyone was back at the entrance, the judging began. The judge was looking for the captured Pokémon's health, rarity, and how long it took the trainers to catch it. Then he was ready.
"Okay, I'm finished! Now, the top three get to keep their Bug Pokémon, and they get an extra prize!" he said, "So here's the results! First is Hannah with her Ledian!"
Hannah and Cyndaquil cheered, and even the captured Ledian smiled for it's new trainer's happiness.
"Second is Erin with her Ninjask!"
Erin hugged her almost unharmed Ninjask, being careful not to crush it's wings.
"Finally, third is Sam with his Yanma! Now everyone else who actually caught Pokémon..." he looked at Peter, "please release them!"
Peter hugged Pachirisu and told her that she did a good job anyway. The other trainers released their Pokémon, a Weedle, Paras and Surskit. The judge gave Hannah a Moon Stone, Erin an Everstone, and Sam a Chesto Berry.

They all left and went back to the Pokémon Center, and after healing their Bug Pokémon, Erin quickly left towards Nexon City. Peter brought a Contest Guide from the Poké Mart next door, which lists info on all the upcoming contests for the next month, while Hannah called Bubbles with Sam's Pokégear. Callum and Sam sat on the couch in the Pokémon Center and talked.
"Hey, I bet you can't guess what Hannah told me!" Callum said.
"No, I probably can't, so tell me," Sam said impatiently.
"No, you've got to at least guess!" Callum laughed.
Sam punched him in the arm. "Just spill it!"
Callum grabbed Sam's arm, twisted it behind his back and pushed him to the ground. "Punch me again and you'll regret it!" Callum said, "And if you want to know, ask her yourself!"
Callum got up and walked over to Hannah, who had had her back turned the whole time. sam watched in disbelief as he kissed her and acted as if nothing had happened. He got up, fixed his hair and sat back down. Peter came back and asked why he looked so grumpy.
"It's nothing," Sam said, shaking his head.
"If you won't tell me, you won't tell anyone, am I right?" Peter asked.
"Pretty much," Sam said.
Hannah came over and handed Sam his Pokégear.
"Thanks Sam!" she smiled.
Sam simply nodded.
"What's wrong with him?" she asked Peter.
"I don't know, but he won't even tell me!" Peter said, "It must be pretty bad!"
"Does someone need a hug?" she laughed, but before she could hug Sam, he turned around and walked outside.
"Wow, this is going to be a problem," Hannah worried.
"Forget him," Callum said as he walked over, "He'll be right by tomorrow".
"If you say so Mr. Psychiatrist," she said.
Sam came back in and was about to say something when Solana came running in after him, bumping into the back of him and knocking him into Hannah. Hannah caught him and when he smiled at her, she smiled back, but then she dropped him.
"Sorry Sam!" she apologized, "But I heard you were going to Nexon City, so I had to warn you!"
"Warn us of what?" Peter asked.
"Team Rocket have apparently set up base somewhere in Nexon City, and Sir Lightning has also been seen there!" she said in a hurry, "If you could help me now, that'd be excellent!"
"How quickly can we get there?" Peter asked, looking for any excuse to get to his contest faster.
"I've already captured enough Fearow for all of us to ride on!" Solana said, picking up her exhausted Plusle as it finally ran in the door, "I guess I was running to fast for you, huh?"
"Okay, lets go then!" Sam shouted and ran outside.
Everyone got on a Fearow and they flew off towards Nexon City.
Part 11:
Hannah had asked Callum if she could go on a Fearow alone with Sam. He allowed her on one condition; don't believe anything Sam told her. She agreed, even though she knew she could trust Sam even more than she could Callum. As they were soaring along, she started asking Sam questions.
"What's up with you, Sam?" she asked, "You've been acting weird since we got back from the Bug-Catching Contest!"
"Why don't you ask your boyfriend over there?!" he shouted, pointing behind himself at Callum.
"Why, what'd he do?" she said quietly, wanting the argument private.
"He assaulted me, that's what!" he said, "He twisted my arm, and shoved me to the ground while you had your back turned!"
"He hit me first!" Callum said, coming up next to them.
"Why'd you hit him?" Hannah asked Sam.
"He said that you told him something, and he wouldn't tell me!" Sam said.
"That's so immature, I can't believe you started a fight because of that!" she shouted at him.
Callum started to grin, but Hannah turned on him.
"And what were you taunting him with?" she asked, "What do you know that he doesn't?"
"You know, the thing with Peter!" he said.
Hannah looked like she would jump across and attack him.
"I can't believe you could be so insensitive!" she shouted, "You're not even supposed to know! Now I regret telling you!"
"It was going to come out anyway!" Callum shouted, "It might as well be from me!"
"Why better from you than from Peter himself?!" she shouted, "That doesn't even make sense!"
"Can someone tell me what this thing with Peter is?!" Sam interrupted.
"You should probably hear it from him," she lowered her voice, "Or maybe me when I'm in a better mood".

The rest of the flight was silent. Sam, Hannah and Callum couldn't look eachother in the eye without glaring. Then, in the distance, a huge city arose from the fog.
"Is that Nexon City?" Peter asked, "It's amazing!"
"Yeah," Solana said, "But we don't have time to look at it. We need to act fast!"
They landed in the closest park and Solana lead them to an alleyway between two nearby buildings. She opened a door that was cleverly disguised to blend in with the wall. They went down some steps and then the room opened up into a huge office.
"This, is the Nexon City Secret Ranger Base!" Solana said, "NCSRB for short!"
"This huge base, hidden underground..." Hannah said, amazed, "Nobody would even know it's here!"
"It's not all underground!" Solana pointed out, "It goes into some buildings too!"
Solana took them over to a desk. Behind it was another Ranger, wearing glasses and typing on a computer.
"Hi Solana," he said without even looking up, "Who's your friends?"
"This is Sam, Hannah, Peter and Callum!" she said, pointing to them, "Guys, this is my friend Adam!"
Adam looked up for a second to smile at them, and then went back to typing.
"What're you doing?" Peter asked, looking at the screen.
"I'm updating our database with new info on Team Rocket and Sir Lightning," he said, "Rangers are constantly talking to me through this headset, telling me where they are and what they're doing. I also give them directions!"
"Not that I ever get lost!" Solana laughed, winking at Adam.
"Right!" Adam laughed, winking back.
Peter shrugged it off as an in-joke and continued.
"How do people qualify to become Rangers?" he asked.
"You need to go to a training school in Almia!" Solana said, "Or you can sometimes just be tested by a Ranger Leader!"
"I used to be a Ranger Leader!" Adam said, "But I decided I wanted to be Solana's Operator instead, and they replaced me with Joel!"
"Anyway, back on topic!" Solana interrupted, "What're the locations of those two Team Rocket guys I bugged?"
"Hold on just a second..." Adam tapped away at the keyboard, "There! They're both at 66 Mydon Street!"
"That's the Devon Building!" Solana said, "Don't tell me they're doing that whole 'take over the Devon Building' plan again?"
"No, it's just those two, my radar isn't picking up any other Rocket's!" Adam said, "Do you think these two are in disguise?"
"I'm gonna have to go in there in a disguise of my own!" Solana said, rushing off to the disguise room.
When she came back, she didn't look like a she anymore. She looked like a businessman, in a suit with a briefcase.
"Wow, that's an excellent disguise!" Hannah said, "I almost didn't recognize you!"
"I know, isn't it great!" Solana grinned, "Now I just have to work on getting my man voice just right!"
While Solana practiced sounding like a man with Callum, Hannah pulled Sam and Peter aside.
"Peter, he knows somethings up, thanks to Callum, so you might as well tell him now!" she said.
"I can't!" Peter said angrily, "You know I get nervous and can't say things properly Hannah!"
"Fine!" she said, "but it's not my problem if it ends up coming out at the wrong time!"
She went over to Solana and complimented her on her man voice. Sam and Peter stood there awkwardly by Adam's desk. Adam turned to them.
"If you two are giving eachother the silent treatment, just kiss and make up already, we have bigger things to worry about!"
Peter turned away from Sam and blushed.
"Peter, what is it?" Sam asked, getting annoyed.
"I can't tell you," Peter replied, "Not yet".

When Solana was ready, she took them all in a disguise car down to 63 Mydon Street and they walked down to the Devon Building and went inside. They walked up the the reception and the lady there asked for identification. Solana got out a fake I.D. card that matched her disguise. The reception lady was old and couldn't see the card very well. She didn't notice the lipstick that Solana forgot to rub off.
"Alright Mr Peterson, are these your guests?" she asked.
"Yes, Mrs Tate," Solana read on her nametag, "I'll be taking them to my office".
Mrs Tate opened the small gate and let them through. But she closed it before Peter could get through.
"Are you entering the contest?" she said, pointing to the contest guide in his hands.
"Yes, I hope to go and register as soon as possible!" he said, "It'll be my first contest!"
"Oh wonderful, it's my nephews first contest too!" she said, "His name's Jesse! Go easy on him please!"
"I'll try Mrs Tate!" he said.
"Thank you!" she said, letting him through.

When Peter caught up with the others, the lift had just closed. Then the lift stopped. The doors opened and Sam was bending down, offering to lift Peter up into the lift, which had risen a bit. Peter blushed and grabbed his hand. Sam lifted him up and then started the lift again. When they reached the 14th floor, the lift stopped. Everyone started to walk out, but then Solana stopped them.
"Adam's saying that the Rocket's are on this floor!" she said, "We need to be on the lookout for any suspicious people!"
They walked calmly to the office that belonged to the person Solana was disguised as and she got out a key and opened the door.
"How'd you get that key?" Peter asked.
"Well, Samuel Peterson doesn't exist!" Solana said, "We made him so we could always keep someone on the inside for situations just as this! It's a good thing that Devon's work policy is 'Don't show up if you're not gonna help!'"
"That makes sense, I suppose!" Hannah laughed, but when nobody else laughed, she stopped.
"Adam, updates please?" Solana said into her mic.
"The Rocket's are coming up to your office now!" Adam warned her, "Be careful!"
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Solana almost failed at her man voice.
Two normal looking businessmen walked in.
"Who are these kids Mr Peterson?" one asked.
"These kids are here to help me come up with ideas for new technology!" Solana said, "YOu know kids are our best buyers, so why not let them come up with the ideas?"
"I like your thinking Mr Peterson!" the other said, "We could use an smart bloke like you up on the 16th floor!"
"That's sounds fun, but I'll have to think about it!" she said, "Give me twelve hours to decide please, sir!"
"Okay, twelve hours it is!" the first one said, and then they left.
They waited in silence for a second, and then Solana breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was hard!" she said, "I don't think I ever want a desk job anymore!"
"Hey!" Adam said through the headset, "It's not all bad!"
"Anyway, I think that's all we need to do!" Solana said, "Let's get outta here!"

Back at the Ranger Base, Solana reported to her Leader that there was two Rocket's disguised as Devon businessmen, one of them being the boss of at least some portion of the workers. Peter was glad to be off the case for now, so he could participate in his contest, and possibly meet this Jesse that Mrs Tate told him about. Hannah would also be competing in the contest, with Sam and Callum opting to watch from the sidelines.
Part 12 (This is a big one):
As the appeal round started, Callum and I found our seats. It wasn't what I was hoping for. It was three rows back and not exactly in the middle. But I'd have to put up with it. And I'd have to put up with Callum as well. Immediately after we sat down, an extremely large man tried to get past.
Wow, this is awkward... I thought as he squeezed past us, spilling popcorn on us as he went.
The Contest Hall was massive, and the audience was equally so. Then Jillian came out onto the stage. Jillian is the contest announcer of Fauno, and also Marian's younger sister. She looks almost identical to Marian, but shorter and with slightly longer hair. I wished Peter hadn't told me all that contest stuff, because I couldn't get it out of my head.
"GOOOOOD MORNING FAUNO!" she shouted at the top her lungs, "Welcome to the Nexon City Pokémon Contest!"
While she introduced herself, I decided to go backstage and wish Hannah and Peter good luck. Unfortunately, Callum had the same idea. So we walked down the hallway in silence. When we got there, Peter had already gone to wait by the stage and Hannah was almost ready too. As she brushed her hair frantically, Callum hugged her from behind.
"Good luck, baby," he said, kissing her neck, "You're gonna win, I know it".
She pushed him away.
"Thanks, but your encouragement is a little too late!" she said, "I still haven't even decided what Pokémon to start with!"
"Use Glaceon!" I suggested, "She's clearly the best for an appeal!"
"You're right!" Hannah said, and then she hugged me, much to the annoyance of Callum.
"Of course I am!" I winked at her.
"You always know what to do Sam!" she said, "Are you sure you're not gay?"
"I'm sure!" I laughed, "If I were, I'd tell you!"
Callum mumbled something that I didn't quite hear, although I'm sure I heard the word honest somewhere in there.
"You guys had better go," Hannah said, "Peter will be on soon!"

When we got back to our seats, I noticed someone familiar sitting behind us, Solana.
"Hey, what're you doing here?" I asked.
"I thought I'd come and watch since it's my day off!" she replied, and then went back to drinking her soda.
I turned around as Jillian began to introduce the judges to the audience.
"Introducing our judges!" she said, "First, the President of the Pokémon Fan Club, Mr. Sukizo!"
"Hello!" he waved to the audience.
"And, Mr. Contesta!"
"Hello everyone, it's great to be here!" he said, "I look forward to seeing brilliant appeals!"
"Nexon City's own Nurse Joy!"
"I'm going to be looking for healthy Pokémon!" she announced, "A healthy Pokémon is a happy Pokémon!"
"And finally," Jillian said, "Here's our special guest judges!"
May and Harley walked out from behind a wall and sat down with the other judges. The crowd was going completely insane over having these famous coordinators here. The screaming was almost unbearable.
Then Peter came out onto the stage. Jillian introduced him to the audience.
"Introducing Peter Scott, from Westwood Town!" she said, "This is his contest debut, so give him an applause!"
"So that's his last name," I heard Callum mumble.

Peter ran out onto the stage, wearing fancy blue jeans and a red shirt. He got out a Poké Ball and threw it to the centre of the stage.
"You can do it Pachirisu!" he shouted as Pachirisu appeared from the Poké Ball in a shower of sparks that lit up the slightly dim Contest Hall.
Pachirisu's yellow cheeks sparked as it prepared to make Peter proud.
"Use Discharge!"
Blue beams of electricity burst from Pachirisu's cheeks, going in lots of different directions.
"Quick, use Sweet Kiss!"
Using its incredible speed, Pachirisu dashed and Sweet Kissed the ends of the electricity beams. The Sweet Kiss made the Discharge burst into a shower of sparks similar to the seal Peter had put on Pachirisu's Poké Ball. The Sweet Kiss also changed the colour of the sparks slightly, giving them a pinkish tint. Pachirisu ran back to Peter and jumped into his arms. Now the judges had to have their say.
"I like it!" Mr. Sukizo said with a thumbs up.
"It was good," Mr. Contesta said with a disappointed tone in his voice, "But not great".
"Your Pachirisu seems healthy and fit!" Nurse Joy smiled, "Excellent!"
Then May spoke up.
"Reminds me of a girl I met in Sinnoh!" she said, "She went on to almost win the Sinnoh Grand Festival, and I have the same expectations for you!"
"Great job!" Harley said, "Reminds me of the early days of May!"
The audience laughed, although May didn't find it funny at all.

Jillian came back on stage and announced the next coordinator had dropped out at the last second, and so they were sending on someone else instead. Then Erin walked on stage.
"Introducing Erin Smith!" announced Jillian.
Erin threw a Poké Ball and a Piplup appeared, surrounded by bubbles.
"You know what to do Piplup!" Erin winked.
A Whirlpool of water spouted from Piplup's mouth. It already looked amazing and I was wondering what Erin had up her sleeve. Then, Piplup fired a powerful BubbleBeam into the Whirlpool. The bubbles swirled around the Whirlpool quickly, and then they met in the center. Piplup, being right below them, used Peck at them, and they burst, causing the Whirlpool to burst too. Water droplets lightly rained down on the audience and judges. It was amazingly beautiful. May stood up and began clapping, followed by the other judges and the audience, including me.
"Amazing job!" Jillian said, "Now lets see what the judges think!"
"It showed the strength of your Piplup as well as the beauty!" Nurse Joy said, "It seems very healthy and happy!"
"Absolutely remarkable!" grinned Mr. Sukizo.
"Indeed, it was," said Mr. Contesta, "The best one yet!"
"I don't think I've ever seen something so amazing!" said May with a big smile on her face, "You've just earned yourself a fan!"
"It was fabulous, darling!" said Harley, winking at her, "Absolutely spectacular!"

As Erin walked off the stage, I heard a voice behind me. A quickly turned around and saw that it was Hannah.
"Hannah, what're you doing here?!" I asked, "Are you the one who dropped out?"
"Yes!" she began to cry, "I'm sorry, I couldn't do it! I was just too nervous!"
"It's okay," Callum and I said at the same time.
He turned and glared at me. If looks could kill, I would be dead. But Callum would be too, because I glared right back at him.
"Guys," Hannah said, "Stop it!"
We turned back to her.
"Sorry!" we both said, before we went back to glaring at eachother.
"Let's go see Peter and Erin!" Hannah ordered rather than suggested.

As soon as we got backstage, Peter came up to us and started talking about how fun it was, but that he felt he would lose. He was talking so fast, it was hard to keep up. So I walked past him and said hi to Erin.
"Hey Sam, how was I?" she asked.
"You were great!" I said, "You're totally gonna win!"
"Thanks!" she said.
Then she got up and hugged me. I didn't know what to say, I just let her hug me. I knew Hannah would be watching unhappily. She would get jealous and leave Callum, I was sure of it. It might sound shallow, but that's really what I wanted. Erin let go of me and we all watched the tv as the people moving on were announced. She grabbed my hand as we stood next each other, and I could feel myself blushing. My hands were getting sweaty too.
"The people moving onto the next round will be...."
Eight pictures popped up onscreen. Erin and Peter were both there. They both screamed and they hugged eachother happily. Then she hugged me again and I blushed even more. Callum, Hannah and I went back to our seats as they announced which trainers would battle eachother. Erin was to battle a man named Mark, while Peter was to battle a guy named Oliver.

The battle between Erin and Mark was first. She decided to use Starly. But he sent out a Pokémon that everyone gasped at. I got out my Pokédex, but it simply said "No data available".
"I've never seen one of those outside of Isshu!" I heard a woman in front of me whisper to her friend.
"You've been to Isshu?" her friend asked.
"Yeah, I went last Summer!" she grinned, "It's an amazing place, especially Hiun City!"
They stopped talking and turned their attention back to the catepillar-like Pokémon. It stared absentmindedly at Starly with its little eyes.
"It's adorable!" Hannah said, although I'm not sure if she was talking to me or Callum.
"Look at those teeth!" I said, "It probably evolves into some sort of vampire butterfly!"

"Begin!" shouted Jillian, waving a green flag.
"Starly, use Quick Attack!" Erin said.
Starly flew towards the Pokémon quickly, a trail of white behind it. Amazingly, the slow looking Pokémon dodged it.
"Bug Bite!" Mark ordered.
The Pokémon jumped towards Starly and bit it multiple times. The bites were small, and a single one would almost be unnoticable, but with so many bites, it began to hurt Starly. Starly attempted to fly away, but the Pokémon grabbed onto to Starly's foot and brought it down hard to the ground.
"Use Peck, Starly!" Erin said frantically.
Starly turned around and Pecked the bug in the face. The Pokémon rolled back, and seemed to tired to fight anymore, but then it got back up, and it looked mad.
"Poison Sting!" Mark said with an evil-seeming grin on his face.
The Pokémon shot needles of poison at Starly, but Starly dodged them with ease.
"That's it, no more Miss Nice Erin!" Erin said, "Use Double-Edge!"
Starly flew at the bug with a yellow trail of energy behind it. It slammed into it with great force. The bug skidded across the battle field towards its trainer. Mark picked it up and noticed it hadn't fainted.
"I give up!" he announced, "I don't want to hurt it anymore!"
"Good on you!" Nurse Joy said, giving him the thumbs up, "You're a good trainer, and I'm sure Kurumiru loves you very much!"
"Kurumiru's an strange name," said Callum, scratching his head.
"It's the scientific name," Hannah said, "Until they give it an official name!"
"That makes sense," I said, "Afterall, it's a newly discovered Pokémon!"

Two more battles took place, involving a Dustox against a Pikachu, and a Beautifly against a Wigglytuff, all of which I recorded on my Pokédex. My Pokédex was coming along nicely. Much better than Peter's was, he was forgetting to use it most of the time. Then it was time for Peter's battle against Oliver.
"Begin!" Jillian shouted for the fourth time today, each time being less enthusiatic than the last.
Peter sent out Totodile, while Oliver decided to use Cacnea.
"Oh no!" Hannah shouted as if she had been attacked by a Scizor, "Cacnea has a type advantage! He might not win!"
"It's fine," I said calmly, "Peter knows what he's doing!"
"Needle Arm!" Oliver called out.
Cacnea pointed both of its arms at Totodile and the green spikes on them began to glow. Then it shot multiple white needles at the Big Jaw Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" Peter yelled.
Totodile tried to jump out of the way, but it wasn't fast enough, and was hit hard by the barrage of needles. It fell to the ground hard, but jumped back up.
"Water Gun!" Peter said, "And then Bite!"
Totodile shot a stream of water from its mouth at the Cactus Pokémon and then jumped at it with its mouth wide open. Unfortunately for Totodile, Water Gun had done little damage to Cacnea, and Cacnea was prepared for Totodile's Bite.
"Cacnea, use ThunderPunch!" Oliver grinned.
Just before Totodile could bite Cacnea, Cacnea's arm became surrounded by electricity and it punches Totodile right in the jaw. Totodile was sent flying back, its little blue body twisting and turning in the air. It didn't even attempt to land on its feet. It couldn't. It just landed, face first, on the hard ground. It kept trying to get up, but to no avail. Then suddenly, Totodile began to glow.
"Oh my, it's evolving!" Nurse Joy pointed at the glowing creature which was no longer a Totodile.
Then the glowing stopped, and where a Totodile once lay, a Croconaw stood. I quickly recorded its data on my Pokédex.
"Croconaw, the Big Jaw Pokémon, and the evolved form of Totodile!" the Pokédex said, "Once it bites down on something, it won't let go until it loses its fangs. But new fangs grow back quickly. There are always 48 fangs lining its mouth".
"Good to know," I said to myself before putting my Pokédex in my pocket.
Croconaw turned to Peter and nodded, and then it launched itself at Oliver's Cacnea. Its mouth began to glow an icy blue and as it bit down on Cacnea's arm, it breathed extremely cold air, making Cacnea's arm recieve even more damage.
"It's super effective!" Hannah yelled happily, and Callum and I laughed.
Cacnea tried its hardest to make Croconaw let go, but the newly evolved Pokémon proved the Pokédex right by not letting go. Then Croconaw used Scrath while still holding on with Ice Fang for more damage. Cacnea couldn't do a thing.
"Stop!" Nurse Joy stood up, "Too avoid further injury, I declare the winner of this match Peter!"
The crowd cheered, but Oliver looked very disappointed. He went over to Nurse Joy and yelled at her.

While security took him away, Jillian announced which trainers would battle eachother in the semi-final.
"Peter will be battling Courtney, and Erin will be battling Jesse!" she said.
Peter's battle was first, and he decided to use Croconaw again. Courtney opted for the normal type, choosing Tauros.
"Begin!" Jillian said, simply lifting the green flag up and not bothering to wave it around.
"Use Take Down!" Courtney said.
Tauros became surrounded by a yellow glow, and charged at Croconaw at a high speed.
"Dodge it!" Peter shouted.
But Croconaw didn't listen. Instead his fist began to glow icy blue, and at that moment, I knew what was coming. I just don't know how he knew the attack. Croconaw threw his fist at the oncoming Tauros. It was a direct hit, and the Tauros seemed to crush up and crumple, as if it were a crashing bus. It fell to the ground, cold and unconcious. The referee ran over and announced Croconaw as the winner. Peter and Croconaw jumped around with glee and then left the stage.
"What a quick battle!" Jillian said, "Now it's Jesse and Erin's turn!"

Jesse and Erin walked out of the coordinators room and took their places at the ends of the battle field. Jesse seemed about my age, give or take a few years. He had brown hair that reached his shoulders. He was quite skinny, but didn't seem weak at all.
"Long hair is for girls!" Callum stood up and called out, but he quickly sat back down when Hannah punched him hard in the back of the leg.
"What the hell was that for?!" Callum asked, rubbing his leg, "I'm just voicing my opinion!"
"You're allowed to have an opinion!" Hannah said furiosuly, "But you should keep your opinion to your fucking self!"
"What the hell is your problem?!" Callum yelled, "Recently, all you do is yell at me and nag!"
He stood up and walked away. Hannah began to cry, so I jumped over my seat and sat next her. Then unexpectedly, she hugs me, putting her face on my shoulder and wetting me with her tears.
"You'll have to replace a move to learn Recover," I said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood, "How about getting rid of Mean Look? You might want to keep Curse for later!"
Hannah couldn't help but laugh, and she hugged me tighter. Then we decided to turn back to the battle, which had already begun. Erin was using Ninjask, while Jesse was using Pidgeotto.
"Aerial Ace!" Jesse and Erin yelled simultaneously.
Ninjask and Pidgeotto both became surrounded by streaks of white light, and then they flew at a high speed towards eachother. They slammed into to each other, and then they both fell to the ground. The referee ran over to check on them, but then Pidgeotto got back up, while Ninjask remained on the ground.
"Ninjask is unable to battle!" the referee announced, "Pidgeotto wins!"
Erin picked up Ninjask gave it a hug before returning it to its Sport Ball. She then walked off stage, and by the time Peter was ready to battle Jesse in the final, she was sitting beside us.
"What happened to Callum?" she asked, "I heard him yelling".
"You heard that?" Hannah asked, embarrassed.
"Yeah, everybody heard that," Erin nodded her head sympathetically.

"Alright, it's the final!" Jillian announced, "Now, let's see which Pokémon Jesse and Peter would like to use!"
Peter sent out his Croconaw yet again, and Jesse sent out a Blaziken.
"Oh wow!" May squealed in excitement, "I have a Blaziken too!"
Jesse's Blaziken showed off by jumping from Jesse all the way to May in one leap. Even though they can apparently jump large buildings, this amazed everyone. He held out his hand for May to shake, and she shook his large hand with both of hers. He then jumped back to Jesse and flexed his arms, which caused fire to burst from his wrist.
"Begin!"
"This'll be easy!" Peter grinned, "Water Gun!"
A stream of water spurted from Croconaw's mouth towards Blaziken.
"Blaze Kick!" Jesse said calmly.
Blaziken was hit by the Water Gun, but it didn't appear to do much damage. He then dashed very quickly around the side of the battlefield, waving to everyone.
Show off I thought to myself.
As Blaziken closed the gap between himself and Croconaw, he began to ignite his foot. Then a huge fire burst from his foot and his whole leg was like a flaming torpedo. He jumped and his foot hit Croconaw right in the face with a huge smack that could've probably been heard outside. Croconaw was sent skidding across the ground and it hit the wall at a high speed. But it just got back up and wiped the dirt off of its body.
"Ice Punch!" Peter yelled frantically.
"Fire Punch!" Jesse yelled in response.
Croconaw and Blaziken lunged at eachother, which was a little too close for comfort for Peter, who jumped away as the two fists collided. Everything else just seemed to stop when the conflicting energies exploded between Croconaw and Blaziken, sending them both flying across the battlefield and into opposite walls. Peter was thrown against the wall behind his as well, and although it wasn't with as much force, it knocked him out. The referee went over and checked both Croconaw and Blaziken while Nurse Joy checked if Peter was okay.
"Both Croconaw and Blaziken are unable to battle!" he announced, "It's a tie!"
"And Peter's awake!" Nurse Joy yelled, as Peter sat up.

After Nurse Joy had made sure that Peter was okay, both he and Jesse shook hands on the stage as they were both awarded their own seperate ribbons by May.
"I remember when I tied in a contest final!" she reminisced for the audience, "We had to split the ribbon in half because there were no spares!"
The crowd laughed, although to me it didn't seem like May intended it to be funny. Jesse and Peter held up their ribbons together, and then went backstage to the coordinators room. Hannah, Erin and I tried to get there as fast as we could, but by he time we got there, Peter was already signing stuff for his new-found fans. One girl asked Erin to sign her shirt as well, which she happily did. Once most of the fans had gone, Peter saw us waiting there. He ran over to me and I was expecting a hug, so I held my arms out, but what I got was much more surprising. Peter kissed me, right there in front of everyone, and as his lips touched mine, I flashed back to this exact day, all those years ago.

As soon as he kissed me, I pushed him off.
"What the hell?!" I yelled, wiping my lips.
"Sam, I'm sorry!" Peter began to cry.
He ran out of the room, and Hannah and Erin ran after him, leaving me alone.
That was my first mistake.

As that memory played over in my mind, I was tempted to begin crying, but crying mid-kiss would be really weird, so I held my tears back. I didn't want to push him off, because of what happened last time. So I let him kiss me. He pulled me close and turned it into a hug-kiss combo.
"That is so cute!" Erin said quietly to Hannah, as she stared in disbelief.
Then, for reasons I couldn't explain, I started to kiss back. I couldn't see her, but I knew she would probably be mad. Déjà vu much? Then, Peter ended the kiss and looked into my eyes.
"Sam, I didn't think you felt the same way," he began.
"Neither did I!" I said, and then I kissed him.
Then Jesse came in and kinda ruined the mood. I quickly ended the kiss, but I grabbed Peter's hand and stood closer to him so it didn't seem like I was embarrassed.
"Woah, sorry if I interrupted!" he apologized, "I just wanted to thank the winner for his great battle!"
"You won too," Peter said, "And thanks to you too!"
"My aunt mentioned somebody of your description before I got here," he said, "Do you know her? Olivia Tate?"
"Yeah, we went to the Devon Building yesterday!" Peter said, "She told me to go easy on her nephew, and she mentioned a name, but I forgot!"
"Well, I'm glad you didn't listen to her!" Jesse laughed, "I better go tell her I won! See ya 'round!"
"Bye!" we all said as he rushed out the door.
Awkward silence ensued.
"So...." Hannah said, "We had better go get something to eat!"

We decided to go to Nexon City's most famous cafe, which was just down the street, but before we could leave, Bubbles came running in the door.
"Guys!" she came over and hugged us all, even Erin, whom she only met once, "I'm so glad I found you!"
"Don't use 'guys' as a collective term if there's girls here!" Erin said sarcastically, "That's totally sexist!"
Erin, Hannah and Bubbles all giggled, while Peter and I just stood there awkwardly, hand in hand. Bubbles noticed this, and looks up at Peter, smiling. Then she hugged him.
"I'm so proud of you!" she said, "I knew you could do it!"
"Seriously Bubbles, no more hugging please!" Hannah said, sounding annoyed, "There's been way too much hugging today!"
"Yeah," I said, "The only person who hasn't hugged is Callum!"
I realized I'd said the wrong thing, but it was too late. Hannah ran out of the room crying. To my minor embarrassment, Peter kissed me on the cheek and then ran after her.
"Here I was, thinking I had a chance with you!" Erin said, "But you're gay, so no Sam for me!"
"I'm not gay!" I said, a bit too defensively, then I changed my tone, "I'm just.... I don't know, curious!"
"Looked gay to me..." Erin mumbled to herself.
"So now I've got two girls AND a guy who all like me?" I said to myself, "I have a feeling this will not end well!"
And another awkward silence. They seem to happen a lot, don't they?
"Does anyone like my new dress?" Bubbles said randomly.
"It's very.... purple," I said, "Like a Delcatty or something!"
"Coincidentally..." Bubbles said, getting a Poké Ball out of her bag.
The Pokémon that appeared was one of the cutest I've ever seen. It was a Skitty.
"I caught a Spinda on my way to Epica City!" Bubbles said, "So then after I got Flareon back from Emma, who by the way says hi, I traded it for a Skitty!"
"It's adorable!" Erin said, picking it up and hugging it.
"Thank God Hannah isn't here!" I laughed, "Who knows what moves that Skitty's got to attack Hannah with!"
"It has Assist..." Bubbles began, but Skitty thought it was an order and used it.
Skitty blew a beam of wind with icy blue snow in it from its mouth at Erin. She dropped the Skitty and fell back onto a chair, where Hannah had left her purse. Out of the purse fell the Moon Stone that Hannah has won in the Bug-Catching Contest. It fell near Skitty, and they both began to glow. Skitty grew bigger, while the Moon Stone got smaller. When the glowing stopped, the Moon Stone was gone, and so was Skitty. In Skitty's place was a Delcatty, which blended in with Bubbles' dress. We all stood there, stunned.
"Fate or coincidence?" Erin asked herself.
"I say fate!" Bubbles said, picking up her newly evolved Delcatty, which was harder to do now, and hugging it tight.

We decided to go and find Hannah and Peter, and when we did, we all went to the cafe. All of us, as friends. This is how it should've been the first time around. Except Callum should probably be there too, but I don't care about him. He was never my friend, and my friends are all that matter now. I don't care if I don't become Champion. I'd rather be with my friends.

Allright. It's gonna take me a while to get a full review across, but for now I'll just review chapter 12.
First of all, don't write each sentence as a separate line. It gets kind of mind-boggling to read.
I do like the plot! However, you need to put more detail in both dialogue and actual wording. In the beginning, it seemed like you were moving too fast, but I'm glad at Part 12, you spaced it out. That shows amazing improvement, and you story is turning out to be quite the fanfic!
