So, yeah, this is a fic about the World Cup this year, but with a twist - the players are Pokémon. The matches will therefore have different outcomes.

I'm not going to post all of the matches, just those from the second round onwards. I changed who qualified!

QUALIFIED!

South Africa

Brazil
VS--------------BRAZIL
Chile

Argentina
VS
Mexico

Germany
VS
England

New Zealand

Japan
------------------VS
Spain
VS
Portugal

I'm going to have everyone arrive at the stadium to announce who will play first!

First poster decides on which team plays first, then second, then third, then forth...

Aa-Oo-Oo_Aa-Oh! When I get older I will be stronger...

The Players tensed up. Everyone was nervous. So nervous they shaked. Apart from the Smeargle. They were too busy painting.

The Smeargle came from Switzerland, and were paining their flag, and failing due to their canvas being rectangular.
They were up against Makuhita from South Africa, who were training constantly, because they always seemed to kick too hard.

The USA had sent the finest team of Mudkip, abandoning the "Land of the Free" for the new "Land of the Mudkipz".
Ghana were the only ones not to send the team out for training, thus their team remained a Mystery.

The Netherlands had Machamp, fearsome predators, and won their group easily. They were the favorites.
Up against them were little Italy, with Bidoof. Their odds were 3500/1 but they qualified due to the other teams having own goals.

Brazil and Chile both chose Staraptor, and it has been announced that their games will take place in an Anti-Gravity Arena so the ball floats. The same occurs for all Flying Types. Non-Flying types will face Flying Types in this arena, but Mario has kindly formulated more helicopter suits for this purpose.

Argentina has picked out it's Linoone due to the Fast Running and the fact that their tails can wrap around the ball, shooting high. Mexico picked Ludicolo, and with the manager being Juan, a water type master, must have something up his sleeve.

Germany picked Registeel. (Remember JP D/P?) The steel's power should blast the ball to the goal, crashing all in it's way. England, however, chose Porygon-Z and hope among hope that Trick Room can slow even the fastest enemies.

That won't work up against Snorlax if they win, but New Zealand are very unlikely too though. Up against those heavy beasts is Japan, who chose the first Two Pokémon Team - Pikachu and Marill. Lets hope they don't breed a Pikablu!

Spain picked Groudon at first, and after being told it was too big, Mario helped out with Mini-Mushrooms, and that was allowed. Finally, Portugal has chosen Slowking, water being the perfect match against ground.

They all got ready to play. "The first match is..."

Please comment! Choose the team!

And I have a little surprise planned for Bidoof/Machamp...

Aa-Oo-Oh-Aa-Oh! Brazil VS Chile! First Half!

The crowd clapped and cheered as the two managers walked into a gap. They fell for a few seconds, before the anti-gravity got into effect. They smiled. The system had worked.

As they walked into the middle, they sang the national anthems. Then they ran, or floated, to the edge and on the whistle, they threw the Poké Balls out into the pitch. They had to throw with pin-point accuracy, or else the other team would get the ball. Brazil threw badly and the aim was centered to the left, but Chile got a nearly on-centre throw. Yet the Brazilian's Staraptor used Quick Attack and got the ball. The ball went from to to fro to to to fro again, until the 38th minute. The Chile team did something incredible.

The attack of the Brazilians hit the crossbar and the two chilean brothers nodded. One used Brave Bird and hit all of the Staraptor in his Brothers Way while they took the ball through the gap. With only the goalkeeper to beat, the Poké Ball was hit into the back of the goal and a Starly came out. It flew north. This meant they'd scored. The new Poké Ball was thrown in in a Seal Capsule and while the seal came off, the Poké Ball remained closed.

There were several fouls in this half from the Chile team, and a Sending off. They were replaced by an injured Staraptor, who ironically was the goal scorer.

In the Final Minute of the first half, Brazil were awarded a Penalty due to a Shirt Pulling. The 'mon got tense. It hit the ball randomly with it's eyes shut and heard a boo from the crowd. He was sad. Then he looked up and saw the Starly fluttering north. The boo-ers were from the other team.

They flew off the pitch into the Poké Balls of the Captain, and Half Time Began.

HALF TIME SCORE: 1 - 1

VUVUZELA TIME! *BZZZZZZ*

Anyways, how cute! :ksmile: Pokemon playing the World Cup!

But I totally disagree with you in three points:
1. I don't remember hearing New Zealand stuff...
2. South Africa didn't qualify, Uruguay did.
3. Mexico being represented by Ludicolos. I'm so not happy with that! *growls and snarls*

Oh Ghana mysterious they were my second favorite team too (Spain was and no I am not saying because they won)
Oh for fourth I want USA vs Ghana

I said I changed who qualified.

Aa-Oo-Oo-Aa-Oo! Brazil VS Chile Second Half!

As in a Poké Ball matches, the second half was played with Pokémon from the Spectators. A young Brazilian Boy's Staraptor, despite having an injured eye, was the 'mon of the match.

The game was played roughly, due to the players being inexperienced, and there were seven fouls from each team. In the first four minutes. The Goalkeepers, being inexperienced, let in many goals, one of which was a "Green" style let down.

The last penalty of the match. Everyone was sweating. Score being 21-20 to Chile, Brazil needed this. The Staravia in goal suddenly glowed. It shone brighter than the sky could shine. Everyone looked away, expecting evolution. Instead, it became a Ditto. The Ditto transformed into a Moltres, one of the Crowds Pokémon. The referee didn't stop the match. There was no rule about Ditto. Then the penalty taking Staraptor transformed too - into a Mew. The referee blew the whistle. That WAS against the rules, a Legendary Pokémon. They'd only allowed Groudon because it had been made mini. The Brazilians were disqualified. They walked off in shame.

The winner of the match was...

(copy-paste into the adress bar before you open spoiler)
Phoenix Wright stood up. "It clearly states in the rules that a Legendary Pokémon can compete if it is smaller than a Human. That is why Groudon was allowed. Thank you."

A small round of applause came from the Brazilians, and the match continued. Brazil won the penalties 5-4.

WINNER: Brazil 21-21, 5-4 on Penalties.

Thanks for reading!
