So I got this game (Worms: Reloaded) yesterday to speed-up the time until Pokemon B/W come out.

I finished the standard 30 missions today and it's a great game I think.

Anyone else enjoy Worms like me? :D

Only played Open Warfare and to be honest, it's one of those games I like the clones of more. But it's OK :)

Re: Worms: Reloaded

Worms is a really solid franchise. My first Worms experience was Armageddon, but my cousins played Worms 2 before that. If there's one thing in mind, I actually wondered why they decided to omit the Homing Cluster Bomb from other games. 3D was OK, as some weapons are easier to use (shotgun comes to mind) and some harder to use (Bazooka was what I was thinking). 3D's gameplay is really a love-it-or-hate-it type.

I think this topic should be called something else, because the topic currently is about a specific Worms game. I heard that the Worms experience is better on Armageddon and 2 than this game in a review.

About the 3D games, I played Worms 4: Mayhem and didn't really enjoy it, it didn't feel like playing Worms at all.

And as for the missing weapons, this new game doesn't have a lot of them actually, there's no Homing Pigeon, Mortar, Mini-Gun, Postal Strike, Magic Bullet and a lot others, but it has some new ones :D

I played almost all the Worms games, and I agree that Worms 2, Armageddon and WWP at first seem to be better, but the problem is that it's only been 5 days that the game is released and it needs some time to get used to it because it is different from the older games.
The thing I like Reloaded more is beause there aren't as much destructive weapons as there were in WWP or Armageddon, and thankfully the Donkey is weaker now. :D

Anyway, I'll change the thread name. :D

Not going to lie, I was pretty disappointed in the lack of Homing Pigeon. Other than that though, it's a great game. To me, it captures the feel of Armageddon without being an outright clone.

My only wish is that my unreliable internet would stay long enough to get a game finished. I've had a couple where I'd be handily in the lead, then my internet would fall out, and then I'd lose the match. But that's a complaint with my ISP, not the game :D

Actually I thought Worms 3D was the best it could, based on the Worms experience, with slow moving worms and choice of weapons. The missions, I think, are better or worse, as you can still get gold medals if you fail each time (the first game to employ this), but bad because you are timed, so you need the CPU to be quick for that. The only things that I would say might make the experience a little better would be to make the worms move faster and make ledge-grabbing possible.

If there is a choice between 2 and Armageddon, which would you choose? I think Armageddon has a lot of great weapons like the Magic Bullet and Armageddon, but 2 has the Homing Cluster Bomb, which I wished I could use,

Re: Worms: Reloaded

I have open warfare two. I'm partial to the Buffalo of Lies and the Holy hand grenade, although I know those two aren't exclusive to OW2.

Open Warfare 2 is supposedly much better.
