Would you be okay with another trade in the main cast?

Last time, it was Ash and Dawn who traded their Aipom and Buizel. Personally, I was a fan of that exchange despite the fact that Ambipom eventually departed - Buizel was a great part of Ash's team. It was also okay because Ash and Dawn traveled together so there wasn't much difference. My question to you is:

Would you like to see another trade happen? If so, between whom?

I'd be perfectly okay with another trade (as long as it's for a legit reason), though I'd also like to see how the writers would handle a trainer from the main cast trading Pokémon with one of their rivals or perhaps other recurring character.

What about you?

I'd be perfectly fine with it because as you said, the traded Pokémon still got to see their initial captors pretty much all the time and it was in every party's interest to do the trade.

I probably wouldn't like it if it was just for evolution powerups though. I know the prospect of Boldore and Gurdurr being traded between Ash and Trip came up a lot but it seemed like a one-second thing that wouldn't have been too interesting.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind that happening again for whatever the reason - provided there is a good reason. And having a main character do it with a rival could potentially make for a good plotline between the two rivalry dynamics, similar to Chimchar's plotline.

I'd be okay with another trade in the main cast as long as there is a good reason behind it. The trade with Buizel and Apiom made sense given their different battle styles and interest in the opposite form of battle that their original trainer focused on. So, making a trade was for their best interest. Something like that between two members of the main cast or with a rival character could be interesting.

Seeing some trades wouldn't be a bad thing. Since no Pokemon has really expressed a desire to change trainers, then it would seem a bit forced and pointless though. I mean, for it to be interesting there would have to be foreshadowing and a decent reason why those Pokemon would be better off with the opposite person. I think all the Pokemon have been distributed well. I don't think there's one that I could say 'oh, that should have been Iris'' etc.

I wouldn't want another trade just for the shake of it. I'd prefer if there was an actual reason that would make the Pokemon happier in the long run like with Apiom and Buizel. There aren't any Pokemon in the main cast now that would feel better with another trainer and it might be a bit too late to try a trade in BW anyway, but I wouldn't mind if they tried this in the next series.
