Would you guys? I think there is no reason for a remake, unless the fan beg Nintendo enough. For that matter, if Pokémon is still here in like 10 years would you like a Diamond and Pearl remake in the far future.

Highly unlikely, as Gen I and II were remade because of their popularity (and being so classic). Gen III wasn't as good as Gen I and II so it probably won't happen.

I thought it was compatibility issues. and money

Well, if there is a remake it will be in Generation 5 if it follows the pattern. I really don't mind, I am not going to get a Soul Silver or Heart Gold because I find it pointless. The only reason to make remakes of Generations 1 and two in my eyes were to get the legendaries and starters for those games but you can already get those by transferring them into a DS Pokemon game. But in a few years, probably about 5 or so I can see a remake being made because it will be so long after there release that it would be nostalgic I guess.

i love generation 3, ralts, mudkip, wingull and many others make it one of the best by my standards

I can see it in the next generation *maybe*. I do think it is too early to think about too much at this point, even for nintendo. I'm more excited about what new things will come to gen 5.

Remake RS? Frankly, I'm completely sick of remakes entirely. I'd rather see all new content.

Yes.

every Pokémon is catchable, the graphics are still good looking, these games aren't popular = crappy arguments

EDIT: In the future, obviously. Not right now.

Why would they remake games that are still playable and are compatible with the current generation?

I really, really hope not. :| At least, not anytime soon. I'm seriously hoping HGSS is the last of the remakes, at least for now.

No. They need to know where to draw the line.

Plus, what would it offer? If they already have the Pokemon accessable (unlike some of Johto) for the DSI, then they don't need to remake it.
