Would you have made Ash's Team any different

So with the end of Sinnoh just around the corner I was thinking about how Ash's team was put together. Personally I liked it and I don't think I would have changed anything except maybe capturing Gible so late but hey.

What pokemon would you have put or Ash's team if you were a writer or are you like me and want it kept the same.
 
To be honest I kind of thought Staraptor was redundant. Gliscor could have functioned as the resident flyer all region.

Gible could have then gotten the 6th slot, been caught much earlier, and evolved.

I did like Staraptor, but Ash did not need an umpteenth bird Pokemon. Swellow was the last bird Ash really needed, but now him getting each bird is just repetitive.
 
I think I'd say that I agree with Gliscor'd and remove Staraptor and use Gliscor and Gible simultaneously but at the same time, I'm used to the way things turned out so I also think it was fine.
Edit: I'd also evolve Buizel.

Possibly evolve Buizel. Other than that, I'm fine with the team he has now.
 
Ash should've evolved Buizel (or Gible). Other than that, his team is fine as is.
 
No Gliscor and Gible caught earlier but not as early as Gligar was caught... like right before Snowpoint City. Nuff said.

So instead of wanting a funny and memorable Pokemon like Gliscor, you'd prefer Ash to get a cheap powerhouse in Gible?

No, I'd just want to see more of the only funny memorable pokemon he had in Sinnoh, Gible! Plus, given the recent developpements surrounding Gliscor, I'd say he's pretty much wearing the cheap crown...
 
I would've kept it the same except maybe evolve pikachu buizel. I really liked his sinnoh team.
 
I would have had them evolve earlier, I wish we got to see more of Monferno.

But overall I was happy with the DP team. I still think I like Ash's Kanto and Hoenn teams the best though. Something about those two teams made them stand out more as a team than his Sinnoh team did.

Gible was funnier IMO.

Overall, this was my favorite team of Ash's so far. I just would have replaced Gliscor with Gible because I honestly didn't find Gliscor all that funny or powerful.
 
I wish Ash kept Gliscor. That was probably his worst decision ever... I miss it. :(

I never got how Chimchar evolved like twice as fast as Turtwig when Ash had Turtwig/Grotle alot longer than Chimchar/Monferno! WTF!?

And Buizel needs to evolve and so does Gible.

Thats really all I can say.
 
I wouldn't have evolved Buizel but it did deserve better treatment even when it lost the spotlight as Ash's main battler it should have been handled better.
 
Would have had the evolutions come in a lot earlier than they did, for one thing. No matter which way you slice it, Chimchar evolving just after the 7th gym and being fully evolved by the 8th is just ridiculous.
Buoysel should have evolved at some point too. They had everyone else reach their finally stages, so it's kind of awkward seeing them and a piddly little otter battling it out against Paul's monsters.

In terms of battling, Gligar should have done something worthwhile, and everyone should have been used more or less equally. But that complaint comes up every region, so I guess it's a classic mainstay.
 
I miss Charizard and Pidgeot terribly!
Would be nice if they stay with him for a while again.
 
He should have kept Aipom and Gliscor. Gliscor has ben the funniest pokemon on the shot to be honest, and Ash and Aipom's relationship was rivaling Pikachu, theywere sooo clos even though she annoyed Ash, she did love him. Then that bitch Dawn stole her!!! Maybe for the water type coverage Aipom would have learned Water Pulse, when an Ambipom.
 
Buizel shouldn't have evolved, it was suppose to look like a tough powerhouse... Not the way it ends up as a Floatzel
As for Gible would have been cool if it had evolved but then people here would be saying it should have been evolved into a Garchomp.
Staraptor was merely caught for the team rocket scetches, but they could have let Dawn/Brock handle that, & give Ash an extra alternative in his 6.

Buizel has evolved?
 
Buizel should've evolved instead of Torterra. Grotle's battles were more interesting to watch than Torterra's losing-streak. Also, Gible never should've gotten caught. What was the point of getting rid of Gliscor just to have it called back during the Sinnoh League?
