Would you like Pokemon to end the same way DBZ ended?

For Dragon Ball Z fans and Pokemon fans. GT I know isn't considered canon since its not made by the person who made Dragon Ball and Z but the ending I thought was good, sad yet good. Would you like it to end with Ash sacraficing himself to save the world? People saying good words about Ash in the end and having flashbacks of adventures with him? Than maybe have Ash return watching Max as an adult battle it out with some kid, with Richu evolved form of Ash Pikachu cuz they gave Pikachu to him. Think it'd be good? A little un orginal yes but I'd love to see the tons of flashbacksXD

Do you mean me? Or max in the anime?

Ew, no. Pokemon and Dragonball Z, as much as I love them both, are two entirely different things. The whole "save the world by sacrifice" thing is so out of the nature of Pokemon. And it wouldn't make any sense for him to go back and watch Max, especially when he's only a few years younger. Just, no, sorry.

I'd really like Pokemon to end by bringing everything full circle. Ash return to Pallet, maybe even the Indigo Plateau, and have a final tournament with all his past rivals. Apart from that, I'd like other things to wrap up, such as the TR plot and the significance of HoHo. Finally, I just want the ending to show something that really represents Pokemon and what it really is about.

it'd be cool if it ended with a reunion with all the friends he met if you are talking about a epilogue.

The show must do three things by the time it ends:

1) The general Ash wins a major tournament using all his older Pokemon

2) Ash meeting Ho-oh in some form

3) Giovanni and Team Rocket disbanding

I also think all 3 of those things are very likely to happen in the last series.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts.

Ash has actually already saved the world by sacrifice on at least one occasion. He just didn't stay dead. :p

And no, I would prefer it to not end like that.

The only thing that I think'll happen is Ash'll become a Pokemon master -_-

And maybe get a kiss from Misty...

never liked DragonBall Z. And Ash sacrificing himself... he does that on a daily basis. Not dramatic at all.

Why stop at a kiss? Pokemon should totally end with Misty dragging Ash into a "Do Not Disturb"-signed room. Shippers would go CRAZY (I myself would rather it be May, but wouldn't complain).

Or maybe Ash driving off with one in a car that says "Just Married". Lulz.

YES! Okay, the do not disturb might be going a little to far, but them kissing like at the end of Avatar... that was an epic moment... and then the fan fics rolled in.

Why not just go all the way (ha!) and animate Toshihiro Ono's secret Pokemon manga while we're at it?

Seriously now, I always imaged the end would be Satoshi, as a Pokemon Master, battling some kid to be the next Pokemon Master. We never see the battle, just Pikachu jumping in to fight whatever Pokemon it is.

YES!

I don't like the idea of the whole "passing the torch" thing.

For some reason, that'd leave me with the empty feeling that Ash's long fought accomplishments have been skipped over once having met his goal as a master.

I like the idea of having him obtaining that goal, and realizing the huge list of rivals and challengers who wish to overtake his spot as the best. I know they both leave the mind open to interpretation, but this, to me, feels like things would be "expanding" rather than "closing".

I like the idea of new beginnings rather than the fade of a legacy.

Still, just my opinion, and not trying to knock, but merely sharing my thoughts.

Ooh I like this idea.

The final episode would show Ash and Misty together on their son's tenth birthday. They have a now 10 year old son named Red and an 11 year old daughter named Leaf. Ash and Misty decided to make Leaf wait and start out on her adventure on the same day as her brother. So they take them to the lab and guess who's there? Gary, Max and Yellow. (From the manga. :p) and it turns out they're late, but there are two pokemon left, a Pichu and an Eevee. Red takes the Pichu, Leaf takes the Eevee. It shows them beating Brock at the Pewter gym, Daisy in Cerulean (Who has been paired up with Tracey.) Gaining a third member somewhere along the way, Dawn's daughter who is named Soul(Heartgold Soulsilver girl) and maybe May's son, Brendan, but leaf and Brendan break off from the group and travel with a 15 year old slightly overweight brown haired trainer named Collin who has a Shuckle he refuses to put in a pokeball. (Hey, it's my daydream. :p) Red and Leaf meet each other outside of the pokemon league and work their way through the elite four and who do they meet at the end? Ash and Misty. Ash is the champion, and Misty is there for the double battle. As their three friends (And the Shuckle. :p) watch from the crowd, as well as May, Dawn, Brock, Gary, Max, Yellow, Tracey, Daisy, Lily, Violet, Casey, Jessie, James, Jessie and James's kids, Meowth, Butch, Cassidy, Barry, Delia, Caroline, Norman, Johanna, Jimmy, Marina, Vincent, Silver and Ritchie. Red and Leaf send out their Pokemon, a Raichu and an Espeon for a double battle, as do Ash and Misty, who send out Pikachu and Golduck. They all tell their pokemon what attacks to use and just as they're about to collide... Fade to black and roll credits.

Personally no.Pokemon ending in same way like Dragonball did would be uncreative and silly if you ask me,and like someone already mentioned Ash sacrified already himself and was brought back in life.

What i would like to happen is everyone receiving proper closure, along with storyline being decently wrapped up.Like:
-Ash becoming pokemon master
-Misty achieving her goal of water pokemon master(becoming E4 member would also be acceptable solution, being indicator thats she slose to it)
-May and Dawn becoming top coordinators
-Brock becoming top breeder(and perhaps finding girl of his dreams)
-some other things i also wouldnt mind like(the whole ho-oh thing being elaborated little more, revealing Ashs father etc)

Honestly it wouldn't be a bad thing really if DragonballZ hadn't already done it.

I mean it's a kinda cool way to end the show, but Pokemon has to have it's own ending.

Obviously I want the ending to be really epic!

What about Max finally becoming a pokemon trainer, so he finally battles Ash?
