Would you like Pokemon to have theme songs?

A lot of long-running Japanese role-playing game series have different theme songs for different installments in the respective franchise.

Main examples being the likes of Final Fantasy, Tales, Star Ocean & Kingdom Hearts.

So question is: Would you want to see Pokemon games have their own theme songs sung for them?

Or just different songs each version?

I do think that having unique vocal themes for the games would be awesome. The songs would have to be good though. I can't forgive a bad opening theme.

I don't really like vocal tracks in my video games. Especially if it plays during a battle, on a route, or something like that. Instrumental tracks are so much better in games, in my opinion. Having lyrics distracts me personally. I have a tendency to lose myself in lyrics visualizing things going along with the words. Personally I prefer pokemon's simple musical audio. Though if the music is in a language other than the one I speak it's much easier for me to ignore the words.
