Spin-Off Would you prefer a Colosseum/XD style game or a Stadium style game for Gen. 5?

What the title says, basically.
Would you prefer a Colosseum/XD game (Snagging Pokémon, Shadow Pokémon, possibly set in Orre etc.) or a Stadium/Battle Revolution styled game (no real story, lots of battling, etc.)
Personally, I'd prefer either. Both would interest me to a certain extent. I'd say the only problem is, would it matter that Cipher disbanded in XD? Not really sure.
What do you guys think?
 
Stadium! Pokémon Stadium 2 was my favorite non-main series game (sorry, forgot what those are called right now)! Even though I really liked Colosseum, I much prefer a gym leader castle to make a triumphant return. Battle Revolution was close, but for the most part, it left me unsatisfied.
 
I'd probably go with Colosseum/Gale of Darkness (I call it that because I just can't take "XD" seriously anymore xP). I like plots.
 
Stadium. And a more competent one. Not saying the other one was bad,just work out the kinks.

And mini-games :D
 
Hopefully a Stadium style game, except where you can choose your moves based on your Pokémon's possible moves at the level they're at. I hope you can choose Pokémon from any current region (please, not just Unova). And, of course, you need to have the ability to copy Pokémon from your handheld games.

The Stadium style games can't hold a candle to the stories of Colosseum/XD in my opinion.... I was extremely surprised when Gen IV didn't continue the trend.
 
Stadium style.

Colosseum and XD were okay, but they were too linear and lacking in Pokemon choices. I'd prefer the adventuring to remain on the hand held consoles. I'm fed up with suffering Random Match-up disconnections, and I don't want to put up with the Battle Subway anymore. A Gen V Stadium game is what I want to remedy this problem, especially if it has its own Pokemon storage system, like Stadium 1 & 2 did.
 
I've never played Pokemon XD or Colosseum, but I enjoyed Stadium 2 and Battle Revolution, so I definitely wouldn't mind seeing another game like them for gen 5. I'd want it to have features of both, though. Like, I want to see the mini-games from Stadium 2 again, but I'd also like to see the ability to customize your trainer from BR as well. Oh, and the library from Stadium 2 too. It was very informative.
 
The reality: We're not getting either anyways since Wii games are dead now.

Anyways, I think I prefer Stadium. I like to be more competitive than plot-based for the console games, and I think a Colosseum would be well suited with single player and local & online multiplayer.

Definitely Stadium. It was hard, (because the rental Pokemon stunk) but fun!
 
I'd say Colosseum/XD. I mean Stadium was cool, but Colosseum/XD was more fun because there was a story to it.~
I must admit though, purifying Pokemon was a bit of a drag.xD But still interesting.~ I also liked how you can trade your Pokemon's from your GameCube to your Game Boy Advanced (SP). It made training a lot easier, and more fun.xD
Though Stadium would be pretty cool, but I think I'll stick with Colosseum/XD.:3
 
Stadium. But that may be because I've never played Colosseum or XD (and I can't take XD seriously anymore either!).
 
Pokemon battle revolution came last gen (plus it lacked a lot of features it should have had and wasnt very fun) so another colosseum or gale of darkness for sure

Just because it didn't do well its first round doesn't mean it can't be improved. It can be like stadium and Colosseum,and more.
 
I'd want another Stadium style game.
Colosseum and XD were fun and all, but if I had to pick, I'd want another Stadium. I like just battle through the cups, seeing MY Pokemon in 3F, and playing the minigames especially. I prefer it to running through a new adventure and having to create a whole new team . . . often with few choices.

Almost forgot but I would love to be able to use rental poke's again,even if they did suck.

Their were some awesome variation battle's, such as the rental battle's.
 
When it came to rentals . . . I always liked the Challenge Cup. There's something I would love to see again. It was a great test of strategy and adaptation. I almost forgot about that. . .
