They've done it in the last two generations so it seems likely, but they also simply restarted for XY. What do you think? Discuss in the comments below.

Damn, it's hard to argue with that.Oddly enough, any Pokemon that got a focus episode on TR's Team was usually released on the same one. No Pokemon besides Sonansu has actually passed those circumstances besides Maiika and Pumpjin as of now.
That gives a hint of them going back to Headquarters.
What did you think of their fresh start in BW?They should all leave imo. I don't particularly like Inkay or Gourgeist and I doubt they'd interest me more even if they have a second saga's worth of appearances, and Wobbuffet has been the bane of my existence since DP. Time to clean house, TR.
Not that I hate you or anything, but you're the first person here to not want them to stay. Eh, it's not like they're going to change I guess but maybe they'll get some more development in Gen 7 too. Poor Habunake suffered from this and got no development outside of contests. They should all leave imo. How can you say that! Habunake may never have had an episode starring it since its very first, but it arguably had more focus than most of Musashi's pokemon ever have had (damnation by faint praise, I know) thanks to:Poor Habunake suffered from this and got no development outside of contests.
I do like that it shared a rivalry, and that it was in contests, but during those practical 300 eps Habunake never really got focus in an episode outside of its debut. Heck, even in its debut Kimori stole some of its screentime. How can you say that! Habunake may never have had an episode starring it since its very first, but it arguably had more focus than most of Musashi's pokemon ever have had (damnation by faint praise, I know) thanks to:
- its long tenure during the entire period of Musashi's participation in contests,
- extremely frequent use as a battler/smokescreen (outings which allowed it to demonstrate personality sometimes!)
- and extracurricular elements like its passionate rivalry against Zangoose.
