Would you want a New Game Plus mechanic in Pokémon?

Exactly what it says in the title, do you think a NG+ feature would be a good idea? A big problem with the Pokémon series is the devs going out of their way to discourage replaying the games; the simplest answer is to just allow multiples save files like... Well, almost every other RPG out there. But it occurred to me that another potential solution, if they're really deadset on one file per cartridge/account, would be to let you replay the story while keeping things like Pokémon in your party/PC and dex progress, maybe even certain items like the shiny charm and collectables in applicable games. Not every has a Home subscription to send all their teammates/shinies/etc to before resetting. This could also tie into adding more difficulty options as well, something else I know a lot of people are asking for.

Would love to see a NG+ which also increases the difficulty of all trainer encounters so that the game has relatively similar difficulty with a team starting at level 50, for example, compared to your original level 5 starter, if not a bit harder (wild encounters can stay the same so you have something to grind for if you want new Pokémon).

Also, letting us skip the tutorials when playing NG+.

NG+ would be awesome, if we're not going to ever get the ability for multiple save files. And the ability to skip the tutorials would be life-saving.
