Wow...a Pokemon game for a Sega Console...

yeah, the sega pico is an educational console developed by segatoy, it was marketed outside of japan by the parent company sega in the mid 90's but i think it only caught on in japan.

That's really neat there is a pokemon game for sega's pico, it's nice to see such bitter rivals like sega and nintendo bury the hatchet.

Nintendo actually published a sega game called sonic rush adventure in south korea.

Pokemon on a sega system is pretty shocking, but I'm more surprised that enough people were buying Pico consoles to give it the strength to go on past it's first year or so, let alone for 10 more years and still be producing games in 2003. Crazy.

Yeah saw that video a while ago. I was surprised there was a Pokemon game on a non-Nintendo system as well. I think it's cool though.

Well, this is a bit of a surprise!

Interesting indeed. I never knew there was a game based on AG.

Rocket-dan's outfits are nice always.

Sorry, what we were discussing?

when I first saw this thread, I thought it was going to talk about this hacked fighting game for the Megadrive I saw on Youtube. But holy shit, this is for real. Concerning the game itself, I thought it looked pretty lenient at first... I mean, this guy's か (ka) could probably pass for a ね (ne)... but then I saw the player tracing お (o). Looked like it needed to be very precise on that one.

Absolutely stunning, I never heard about this game before and I would never have guessed that Nintendo designed a pokemon game for a sega console! Cute drawing game though I must say :)

EDIT: Just checked and there is no bulbapedia article on this yet, so maybe somebody will start one in light of this video...
