I hate my brain sometimes, it has this annoying thing where it comes up with an idea and refuses to allow me to do anything until I've written it down.
Basically, I've written the first chapter of a new pokemon fanfic idea, inspired i think by the sheer brilliance of Damian's TGE and the fact that I want to write something at least half as good. The idea is pretty good and everything i'm just... stuck... already. After an 1800 word first chapter I've no idea what perspective to take... initially i thought of it being a somewhat trainer fic idea but quite frankly all my ideas deal more with Ash and Gary and the rest of the anime cast (all fourteen years older now) who are basically in a sort of defence league (such a corny phrase) against a much improved and far more efficient Team Rocket (Roketto Dan sounds so much cooler) and so I've kinda written myself into this corner where I've introduced these new Pallet trainers and they'll definitely have some part to play in the story but it's not as massive as I thought yet still requires some character development.
Mrr.... this happens a lot. I have a moment of inspiration and write a pretty good start and then have nothing to follow up with. I'd belt my brain up for doing this to me but the moments of brilliance (rare though they are) prevent me from doing so.
It's annoying because I've had some inspiration problems lately and finally I've come up with a half-decent idea and I *want* to write it. Am I the only one who has this problem?
