Does anybody else here, when writing, skip ahead a few chapters like I do? Sometimes I get a bit bored, so I start cracking away at a battle scene.

Like in my current fanfic. The reason you people are still waiting on the next post is simple: I'm working on Jack's gym battle. You'll like it, but it's the last chapter. I think it's a pretty decent fight scene, and a nifty parody of sporting events in general.

Oh, yes, absolutely. I can't write in order. I have to do it a piece at a time, while I'm "feeling" whatever scene. If that makes sense. Doing that actually takes a bit of the edge off a writer's block, at least for me. I get into what I'm writing... but then I run the risk of rushing through the "stuck" part to get to "the cool part."

Mad props to the Aleve reference in the last chapter, btw. This migraine series I've been living off it...

And Jack ownz. :-D

I write always in order... But I never (or hardly ever) plan out my stories, so I'm not really writing in order... but I find that I can't write chapter six and then go back and do five, because I'll have discrepencies and things like that...

If I get bored, I start yet another fic. ^^;;

Trust me, Jack vs. the Sensational Sisters is going to be one hell of a finale. Anyone who's ever been to a few sporting events will know what I'm talking about in this one.
