I was battling online, and it was down to both my opponent's last Pokémon and mine. Mine was Volcarona, and his was Sawsbuck. The thing is that both our Pokémon were very weak and I was about to finish him...

AND THEN SAWSBUCK ATTACKED FIRST.

I mean, wtf?! My Volcarona is maxed in Speed. How the hell did Sawsbuck attack first? There's no way it can do that. No, it didn't have a Quick Claw and wasn't Choiced; the item it had was Life Orb. I saw it when it attacked me. It hadn't used Agility or something like that either.

Chlorophyll?

No, it wasn't sunny...

AND WTF HAPPENED NOW?! I swear to God, this fucking game is the most unfair thing ever. I was battling an Excadrill with my Starmie and the Excadrill attacked first!! WTF!! There's not even a sandstorm to use Sand Rush! It's not choiced and doesn't have Quick Claw, its item is Leftovers!! This shit makes me so angry, why do Pokémon attack first when they're not supposed to?!?!?!?!

This is prpbabbly weather and you aren't noticing it. This kind of stiff happens to nobody else I know so it happening to you twice is highly unlikely.

There is clearly a logical answer for this. There is no hax going on. Chlorophyll is almost certainly the answer.

It's easy to forget the weather effects in Gen V, since it doesn't remind you every turn what the weather is. Maybe the enemy used Sunny Day and you didn't realize, notice, and/or forgot.

Mmmm... Maybe. I guess I'll have to pay more attention next time. Thanks anyway, guys!
