Year 2150
The world was shaken down by the crash of "Renewal" a comet that collided with the earth and created a powerful shockwave that spread through the whole planet. The shockwave in turn destroyed a good part of the earth and put into motion the events that would test the rest of the world for the years to come.
From the rubble and aftermath of the shockwaves emerged a new breed of humans the shockwave worked by absorbing the DNA of those that it touched. Because of this humans that were affected by the shockwave began mutate into a hybrid form in which they shared their DNA with that of Pokemon. This creatures were simply branded as "Hybrids" their presence became consistent in the following years.
However Hybrids weren't taken with open eyes, humans, feeling threatened by the abilities the Hybrids had that they lacked chastised them and began to chase them out; creating flames of hatred that put the Hybrids at war with humans as well as the Pokemon that they used to fight them.
Hybrid Enforcement Special Bureau or HESP are a special force that specializes in capturing and getting rid of Hybrids that have been branded as dangerous, or at least that was the original plan most agents of the bureau take advantage of their position to attack Hybrids out of their own hatred and sadly most people pay no mind to this.
Now in the year 2160
The time for change has begun and you have been given that chance. You will be able to pick sides whether to be a human from HESP or a Hybrid it will be your choice and you'll form path of the new fate that is looming over the world.

Appearance: Max has long black colored hair that goes down to his neck and falls on his sides, he has a pair of deep blue colored eyes that reflect his innocence and white skin. He wears a long sleeved red and white jacket over his black shirt when he's out of work, while at work he wears the HESP agent uniform which consists of a long sleeved white colored zipper jacket along with a pair of long white jeans and the insignia of HESP on the left shoulder of the jacket.
Personality: Max is very naive and kind causing him to come off as a knuckle headed kid to most people. He's lazy and it's hard for him to take responsibility for most of his actions, however he still has a lot of courage and determination. Max is generally peaceful but when he knows he has to fight he will not hesitate to move.
However, unbeknownst to Max himself there is another personality inside of him a ruthless cold blooded personality that will not let his opportunity to hurt others pass him over. The personality who calls himself Zax is manipulative and selfish only thinking about how things can affect him whether they're good or bad decisions in the end.
Reasons for Joining: Max wanted to join HESP to try and bring some more order to the world Zax on the other hand joined for the sport of it while stopping Max from realizing the fact that his actions were being influenced by Zax himself.
Pokemon: Pikachu, Pignite, Rufflet, Golurk
Background: Max grew up in Neo Castelia city with his mom where he lived a pretty quiet and enjoyable life with her. His father had abandoned them back when Max was little causing Max to see his mother's estranged feelings of depression at times; though she usually shrugged them off so as to not worry Max.
When Renewal crashed with earth both Max and his mother had been terrified for what had happened and had been able to survive the shockwave, however the shockwave caused Max's mother to turn into a Hybrid forcing the two to start running away to avoid HESP.
However due to his mom fighting against the Hybrid blood she began to go wild and started attacking Max eventually causing HESP to move out and hunt her down. The events that followed was something that scarred Max and caused his second personality Zax to develop. After his mother's death at the hands of HESP Max and Zax began to live on their own and eventually met a woman named Sally who helped them into joining HESP.

Appearance: Jesse's body is covered with red colored feathers and he has long blond hair that falls down to his waist his mouth is instead a beak that stretches out which doesn't really match with his human-like face even if you take the feathers into account. he has claws in place of hands. He normally wears a red colored jacket and a pair of matching jeans that are mostly thorn off due to overuse.
Personality: Jesse is very outgoing and confident in himself, while he has a few depressing moments but he knows when he has to act and when not to. Jesse is very trusting of people; though he knows when he has to keep watch of them in case they might betray him. But overall he's nice to those that he deems good and protects them as if they were family.
Pokemon Species: Blaziken
Age when changed: Jesse's family was camping out at the time of the crash, he was around 11 at the time.
Background: Jesse lived with his father, mother and sister the two moved around a lot due to Jesse's father being transferred constantly but that kind of life never bothered Jesse since he was glad that he could be with his family. However, all that changed when the crash happened, the shockwave that washed over the world knocked the RV that he and his family were travelling in and cause them to roll down a small cliff.
When Jesse awoke he had been turned into a Combusken Hybrid, at first he was confused about what had happened but when he looked into the RV he realized that his family had been killed; he never knew how his sister had ended up but he didn't need to, just seeing the limp bodies of his parents was enough to make Jesse run away.
From then on Jesse started living his life on the run to try and get away from HESP never knowing if he would ever have a chance to relieve the days when he was human.
