X-Entertainment is, as the webmaster Matt puts it, "a tribute to anything I feel, or have felt, passionately about in my life." And Matt is a giant geek who takes pleasure in collecting discontinued Kool-Aid flavors (and, uh, other discontinued foodstuffs. Kind of disgustingly awesome), reviewing obscure toys, and summarizing old Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades. Recently, Matt decided to take the time machine to 1998 and speak of one of his old passions, which happens to be Pokemon.

Yeah, it's basically just him giving a plot summary of the first episodes, with pictures. He constantly makes jokes about the sheer number of seasons, movies and Pokemon we're up to these days, but it's very refreshing to see someone outside the fandom who pokes fun at Pokemon out of love. He admits that he has fallen off the Pokewagon long ago, but it's clear that he's still very fond of the show. Kind of heartwarming.
