Mojo TV was at an all-time ratings low. Because of this, Mojo had lost so much political power that he was now in a literal bipartisan ratings war with a young female Spineless One named Beopop. She had even begun using the Avengers, which Mojo took as a personal insult, since he'd lost the X-Men, due to The Day That The Ratings Died, the name for M-Day in the Mojoverse, or now, the MoBeo Dimension. Mojo, depressed, asked Major-Domo for an idea, but Major-Domo was also out of ideas. Minor-Domo, however, came up with a pitch so sinister that even her bosses couldn't resist breaking a Programming Vow...And so, X-Men from both sides, as well as other superhumans from else where in the Marvel Multiverse, were forcefully called out to kill each other in the interest of increased ratings, and thus, political power in the Mojoverse....
