X&Y Legendary Trio Typing

(Gosh I really hope nobody made a thread about this otherwise I’m going to be sad.)

If you go to the second floor of the Lumiose Museum and read the Power Plant” Series audio guide description, it will describe what each facility does. As most of you know, these three buildings are currently inaccessible through the game. As I am sure you know, whenever GameFreak makes locked buildings or islands in the middle of the ocean, we all assume legendries are going to associated with it.

With that said, here are the painting descriptions:

This power plant uses fire to generate electricity. This painting is part of a series on technology in Kalos, and the fierce combustion fully communicates the passionate fire of the energy of life.

I think this pokemon would be an electric/fire type and will be known as the Passion/Spirited/Vehement Pokemon

This plant uses gas from composting waste to generate electricity. This painting is part of a series on technology in Kalos, and it expresses the sorrow of wanting to leave some legacy behind, even though we pass on and disappear.

I think this pokemon will be an electric/poison type and will be known as the Legacy Pokemon.

This plant uses heat from the ground to generate electricity. This painting is part of a series on technology in Kalos, and the plant is a sharp commentary on the hidden passion that lies just beneath everyone’s surface.

This pokemon will be a ground/fire type or electric/ground type and will be known as the Potential Pokemon.

Maybe they’ll be known as the Success Trio? That’s just a wild guess though. So, even though this is all speculation, how do you feel about these typings? How would you use them? Or will you just stuff these legendaries in your PC?

This does sound interesting. I'm not sure that mixing types would be all that wonderful. Keeping them all as a single type, like most of the other legendaries may work better here. Before you flame me for saying that, here is why.

Most of the legendaires have some sort of a balance they maintain, and by adding a common elemental type (Electric in this case) it does not really create a balance. Electric is weak to ground so that one there is already at a type disadvantage to Electric/Fire and also gives electric/poison a slight advantage. Now if they were all single elements such as

Fire for #1 (self explainitory)
Grass for #2 (organic material is the key to composting)
Water for #3 (geothermal uses steam to turn generators)

You get a balance just like in the beginning of the game.

I thought the secret event legendaries were already leaked and only one of them is speculated to be related to the power plant...



(Unless the hacker/leaker oversaw something. Actually I wish that)

You're referring to Diancie, Hoopa, and Volcanion correct? Personally, I don't think they are the legendary trio because (for as long as I can remember) almost all legendary trios look similar in design. For example: Suicune/Entei/Raikou look like dogs/cats, Regice/Registeel/Regirock have braille faces, Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus all sit on clouds, Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf look like pixies, etc. Diancie, Hoopa, and Volcanion have absolutely no design relations. So that leads me to believe that they are stand alone legendaries like Shaymin or Meloetta.

Who knows? Maybe you're wish will be granted.

That sounds like wishful thinking. IMO. Past games have had poorly typed legendaries prior to this Gen. (Not counting the legendaries with one solid typing) The geothermal idea for the third description makes sense. I'm no so confident in the Grass/Electric idea. "Composting waste" still says poison to me.

Maybe GameFreak assumed that not every pokemon player is a maniac like us and bought SS/HG? Haha.
I don't want to think about Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde being the only trio in the game. It's been a tradition in pokemon to have a legendary trio separate from the advertised legendary gracing the front of the cover. I JUST DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE IT! D:

I'm still hoping for another game/pair that adds to Gen VI. It just doesn't feel like a complete game.

At this point I don't even care what their typings are. I just want more Pokemon. lol
