Wow. Highest Friday opening. SECOND highest opening overall (Revenge of the Sith's Wednesday opening from last year is the #1).

There's some other movies news in that article, but the X3 news is at the top, and there's a clear divider.

Pretty astounding, and with the right publicity, X-3 MIGHT rival the Spidey films for total money earned.

But, if you're one of the many who have seen the movie and want to talk about it, here ya go.
 
I desperately want to see it. I think I will kill people to make friends to go to see it with >_>.

Though I really hate seeing films at the cinema, the xenophobe in me makes me want to massacre everyone else so I can watch the film in peace.
 
All my friends that went to see it said it blew. Also, how did it do as far as inflation-adjusted ticket sales go?
 
You'll probably have to wait for Tuesday when the weekend numbers come in to get specific details. No one seems to be reporting more than the 24 hour total at this point.

Looks like there's been an update. X-3 currently ranks 4th for opening weekends, behind Spider-Man, Shrek 2, and Revenge of the Sith.
