X3 Trailer Is Up

It'll also be shown with King Kong in theaters.

Within the spoiler tags you'll find the description of it from Superhero Hype.
The trailer is a montage of scenes from the film. It starts out with a voice over by Patrick Stewart. As he talks about the war of mutants (as well as angels and demons), we see a bunch of very, very brief scenes. Here's what I remember (not necessarily in order):

- The X-Men walking down the hall in the basement of the X-Mansion. We see Wolverine, Storm, Kitty Pryde, Colossus, and others.
- An exterior shot of the X-Mansion
- Storm walking out of the Mansion doors and looking at a cloudy sky.
- Quick shot of Professor X in a wheelchair.
- A shot of Beast and the other X-Men at what appears to be a funeral.
- A shot of Angel, shirtless and in a lab, quickly unfolding his wings in from of some scientists.
- A quick shot of the President and his advisors.
- Juggernaut in a containment cell.
- A shot of Magneto in the woods flanked by Pyro, Juggernaut, and an Asian mutant among others. Magneto delivers a line and dozens of mutants raise their fists in the air.
- Cyclops screaming at the sky.
- Wolverine meeting Cyclops at Alkali Lake and his glasses flying off and into Wolverine's hand.
- Jean Grey waking up on an infirmary table.
- An X-Student walking through the halls of the Mansion flying paper airplanes with his powers.
- Storm flying through the air, then spinning and knocking people over.
- Storm flying and knocking Wolverine out of the way of debris falling down (in a Danger Room training sequence).
- A shot of Magneto causing a car to fly up into the cab of a truck.
- A shot of Magneto and other mutants walking along the Golden Gate Bridge. The Bridge then starts ripping and bending apart.
- A shot of Jean Grey casually walking towards a door in the infirmary and it violently blowing apart.
- A scene of Wolverine jumping out of a tree and tearing someone apart with his claws.
- A shot of Mystique jumping onto a desk in front of somebody, and her hands are chained together.
- Wolverine falling down in a corner in between two walls and as he's falling he's got his claws sticking out slowing his fall and there are sparks flying from his claws.

The trailer then concludes with the X and Wolverine's claws as seen on the poster. The reaction to it was overwhelmingly positive among us and we applauded it (which was again surreal with Hugh Jackman there seeing it for the first time with the rest of us).

"Asian mutant." Doesn't say if it's male or female. I seem to doubt that it'll be Psylocke or Sunfire. But it sounds great. Can't wait for the trailer, can't wait for the movie.

I go there all the time. I was hoping it would come ot shortly after midnight but I'm still waiting. I guess I'll have to get up early today to see it!
 
It's still not there. However the pics are very good. Beast is looking just great, and Angel looks...misproportioned in his first pic, but its just the camera angle (i hope).
 
So, is it safe to finally assume that Brett Ratner didn't ruin this movie?

Please, God, I hope this isn't going to turn out to be "X-Men Forever."
 
Trailer's Up

Wow...just...WOW. Juggernaut's the ONLY thing that looks bad (he looks...just...no). Beast looks GREAT, there are PLENTY of cameos from various characters (well...ones that could be presumed to be certain characters), and the X-Men have two new members since the last film (Colossus and, presumably, Shadowcat).

This is just...wow. Just...WOW.
 
It looks awesome! But I don't like Beast's look. He looks like a blue Hellboy. And I'm glad that Katheryn has a bigger part, but I want Jubilee to have the bigger part! She's really cool!

The official site is up. It has the trailer and a small photo gallery showing all the main characters, including one not previously announced.
 
Do you have Quicktime on your computer? If not, download that. Otherwise...I dunno enough about computers to diagnose anything.
 
I have Quicktime but sadly it appears to only be 6.5, and i cant DL the new version without getting iTunes with it. If there is a way can y'all share the info.
 
What I did was download all of it and imediately uninstalled the itunes thing.
 
Well, I tried to post the link earlier, but this board was messing up. Now the place I was going to link to is messing up. What I was GOING to post was a link to a pic of Colossus in armored form (just his head, but it gives you an idea). He looks great, although a little too much like the T-1000 from Terminator 2.

Looks like they're creating a game to serve as a prequal to X-Men 3, bridging the gap from the final scene in X2 to the opening of X3. It's set to star Iceman, Wolverine, and Nightcrawler, and supposedly explains why Nightcrawler is NOT in X3. It's being written by Zak Penn (screenwriter for X2 and X3) and Chris Claremont (aka genius X-Men writer).
 
As much as I hate to triple post, there's really no reason to start a new thread for a news item this small.

Psylocke Joins X3 Cast

Title pretty much speaks for itself. Looks like she's a member of the Brotherhood, though. Set to be played by Mei Melancon, who worked with Ratner on Rush Hour 2 (if you've seen Rush Hour 2...you know who she is). Nothing else has been revealed, so...again...no reason to start a new thread.
