Xerneas Disappointment???

For all you pokefans, I'm not saying that Xerneas was a disappointment, like the title says. I'm saying that Xerneas' special move was a disappointment. It looks cool and is worth waiting two turns with the stat increase it takes, but I wanted to see an awesome fairy move. So now the question is, what will Xerneas do to protect itself from Yveltal's Oblivion Wing. If Xerneas is able to defend itself with a move such as Moonblast, that'll look to overpowered. Unless it uses Geomancy and then it has an awesome after affect like Victini's Victory Star in the movie like Tepig's Ember. Sorry for talking a lot, lol.

I'd say it's more useful than an attack. If given a Power Herb, the boosts all happen in a single turn and the next turn you're ready to sweep the competition to oblivion with Moonblast. You only get one shot, though. I'm sure Geomancy will look amazing in the anime. It might be used offensively like how some status moves are sometimes seen used offensively.

Geomancy's kind of a fitting move for a life-giver, versus a life-taker's Oblivion Wing. Also pretty unique, wouldn't you say? Have there been any other box legend sig. moves that can be used to buff their stats into overdrive? I don't think so.

I got rid of it in favor for Dazzling Gleam. I always use offence, never defense. XD

Geomancy is the best signature move in the game, bar none. It's that good.

Geomancy is what makes Xerneas one of most powerful and broken Uber Legendary ever, after a Geomancy it becomes extremely difficult to wall it. I think Yveltal is the one that got the underwhelming signature move, Oblivion Wing is great, but not great enough for a Uber Legendary like Yveltal.

Norzan is right, give that thing a Power herb and the boost to its stats make that thing lethal! It becomes a speedy rainbow deer of death! Not life!

That move is broken. I once swept an EV Trained team with a freshly caught Xerneas due to 2 uses. After one, even, it becomes unstoppable.

As mentioned, Power Herb will do the trick. Geomancy is much stronger than any other boost existing. Using Geomancy without a Power Herb is a suicide since Xerneas will be a threat on the second turn. Unless you have a support type Espeon(Magic Bounce) with Reflect or Togekiss with Follow Me.

I agree, I wish its Signature was something cooler, Oblivion Wing was amazing, Geomancy's animation isn't even that great.

Too bad. Geomancy is supposed to be used for offense. It's the equivalent of a Nasty Plot boost and an Agility boost, both excellent sweeping tools. The fact that it's also the equivalent of an Amnesia boost is just gravy.

Nah, Xerneas isn't much of a disappointment. He's all Circle of Life. He lives in you. He lives in me. Geomancy is nice.

However, I do wish they had more Fairy moves other than Moonblast or Dazzling Gleam. Like, maybe Xerneas should have had 2 signature moves instead of drawing offense from a move my Sylveon has been spamming since it leveled up 2/3 Gyms ago.
