XY093 English Dub?

When will XY093 air in the English dub?

I've been looking through guides and so far it's not scheduled and Serebii has updated his "coming soon" to say XY093 but there is no date and not even an english title.

What is going on? Is the anime going on a break in the US? If so why? Could it be to do with the new games?

They took a 7-week break just a year ago. There is no mystery here; the dub needs time to catch up.

I don't think "catch up" is the right terminology, as we've recieved hints of episodes getting dubbed in english 2 months before their Japanese airing. However, it's likely that due to XY093 being a production batch start and having expensive animation it was recieved relatively late and couldn't be used as the episode 18x46.

I just hope it's something interesting for the break, though I doubt it.

Even after all these years, I still get a kick out of CN playing the Kanto Starter trilogy in the holiday break of '13 (oh, to have been a room with some younger fans watching these episodes! )

I'm still kind of surprised that they didn't jump right into the new season given that they aired the last Mega Evolution special last weekend. In any case, the dub is probably on a break. They'll probably want to widen the gap between the two versions a bit and they tend to take a break once the season finishes up. The new season will probably start around late January or early February at the latest.
