As I was searching through the Yes Asia website, I noticed something quite peculiar. Apparently D/P are being released the 25. Three days early! Is this possible though? If so, I'll be getting the game the 27 or 28. Assuming this is valid, how are they able to get it earlier than other places?

This was on Play Asia as well...

Maybe the release date was changed...
 
It's not unusual for a store to get games a day early, however stores aren't
allowed to start selling until the offical release date. In this case it does
seem strange to get something 3 days early.

Maybe through delayed shipping the games will arrive the day they're supposed to be released?

If that is so, I'll remove the Deoxys Crisis DVD from my order and order it seperately so that they could ship my D/P on the 25th if they have it already then. o.o

Crap. Did I say Yes Asia? I meant Play Asia...oops. Easy to get those mixed up I s'pose...

Oh well. I hope this comes to pass. I'm getting a bit anxious...

Ah...then those who ordered from Yes Asia will get it later, of course, Play Asia may not ship till the 28th, they will just recieve it earlier...
 
Why? If they're site says "Shipping the 25th," then one would assume that it would be shipped out then, right? This is not making too much sense, to me at least.

Play-Asia just charged my card, so I'm guessing it may even come earilier than the 25th! That's great... in a way (next week is going to be too busy for me...)

So, I wonder if kids in Japan will get it early as well.
 
Probably not. (Most) Stores there probably won't sell the games until September 28 even if they get their shipments of games on the 25th as well. o.o And I doubt online preorders from Pokémon Center Online will be sent early. o.o"
 
So, people who ordered off Play Asia will get it the 28th or later, not the 25th or so?
 
Huh? No, apparently Play-Asia gets it early very likely and they will probably ship it out as soon as they get it. o.O
 
Maybe we should be asking those that have ordered from Play Asia before how long it takes them to ship things.
 
PA often ship games out prior to the official release date because in most cases, the games don't arrive until on or just after that date. PSU shipped out before the street date for the same reason, even though Sega were enforcing strict penalties for breaking the street date. Online retailers operate in a different manner in which shipping is taken into consideration. I can almost guarantee those with orders at PA will have their copies of D/P shipped on the 25th if not soon after. But before the 28th for sure.
 
I saw someone say it on PokeJungle as well...

However, they may be full of BS.
