Yeah, yeah, I make a lot of teams. Please don't judge me, just my team - I think it's fun to make a bunch of teams! This one's going to be pretty physically-based, just as a warning.
Scizor@Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Adamant nature
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
-- Swords Dance
-- Bullet Punch
-- Brick Break
-- Quick Attack
Combination lead and Physical powerhouse. Two priority moves boosted by Technician? Sounds good to me. Brick Break to mess up leads trying to set up with Reflect or Light Screen, as well as to deal some pretty good damage, too, especially to the likes of Weavile and Tyranitar.
Linoone@Salac Berry
Ability: Gluttony
Adamant nature
EVs: 108 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 4 SpD / 136 Spe
-- Belly Drum
-- Shadow Claw
-- Dig/
-- Return
Typical Belly Drum Linoone here. Dig helps with steels that don't have Magnet Rise or aren't part Flying, and any switches can be hit with Return. Shadow Claw gets pretty nice coverage with the other two moves.
Crobat@Wide Lens
Timid nature
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
-- Hypnosis
-- Mean Look
-- U-Turn
-- Air Slash
Another candidate for lead. The basic premise is to get out and let off a quick Hypnosis, with Wide Lens to boost it's accuracy even more, then Mean Look to trap them, and U-turn out to Linoone so it can set up that Belly Drum. Air Slash in case something faster than me Taunts me, or I somehow end up with Crobat as my last pokemon.
Torterra@Leftovers (Riku)
Docile nature
EVs: ???
-- Leech Seed
-- Crunch
-- Earthquake
-- Wood Hammer
Yeah, yeah, I know the first thing out of everyone's mouth: 'Get a better nature! What are you thinking, using a neutral nature?' Well, this guy's served me pretty well, and I'm not about to let him go - this is the only one I'm for sure keeping. Leech Seed and Leftovers help with Wood Hammer damage, while Crunch and Earthquake offer coverage. I haven't actively EV trained him, though, so any suggestions would be welcome (though I'm guessing max attack).
Staraptor@Choice Band (Highwind)
Jolly nature
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
-- Brave Bird
-- Close Combat
-- Return
-- Pursuit/Aerial Ace
Another pokemon that's served me well. Aerial Ace is a pretty good STAB move for the likes of Breloom and/or Heracross, or when I can't afford to take Brave Bird damage, but Pursuit has it's uses, too.
Azelf@Expert Belt (Eastwood)
Timid nature
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
-- Nasty Plot
-- Psychic
-- Grass Knot
-- Flamethrower
And now we add the surprise special powerhouse into the mix. Rather standard Nasty Plot set - a shame I couldn't get HP Fighting, but oh well.
So yeah...I'm sure I've got plenty of weaknesses, especially with no walls/healers. But the main premise of this set is to hit fast and hard, scoring as many OHKOs and 2HKOs as possible. However, I realize I am in desperate need of Ice Beam somewhere - I just don't know where. Help is much appreciated!
