Hey, I'm new here. Just looking for a nice pokemon community where I can set up trades, not many people near me play pokemon.

I played the originals up to pokemon crystal and got drawn back in by black and white.

What do you think of Black and White? Do you think they're still as good as the older games?
 
They are as good, I would even say better.

It took me a while to get past the nostalgia filter, but once I did I realised what good games they are.

And since they are my first experience with anything past Gen II I was blown away with some of the new features like National and Regional Dex, and I loved that only Gen V pokemon were catchable in the wild until you finished the pokemon league. I feel that with the amount of mons there are now it was a clever move and let me get to know the new mons without older mons taking the spotlight.
 
I think a lot of people got the feeling that Black and White were made to be as close to R/B/Y in terms of feel as possible - what do you think of that? I think it did definitely feel like a brand new game - a feeling that I'd lost in Gen III and IV.
