I came up with the seed for this bizzare idea back in 6th grade. Basically, it's like what would happen if you had to fight a pokemon yourself.

Adding fuel to the fire was the two pokemon movies starring Mewtwo. (Mewtwo Strikes Back- Ash throws a hard punch at Mewtwo; Mewtwo Returns - Ash and his gang tackle <literally> a piece of machinery that is has captured Mewtwo)

I got my full inspiration from a pokemon episode where Jessie KO's a Seviper unarmed. A Pokemon Trainer moveset (my own) for Smash added to it.

The final clincher was this:

http://www.trsrockin.com/human.html (Humon Stadium By Alia Lee)

The final result was a word document (incomplete) that basically showed pokemon trainers (from the game) as pokemon (Yes, in my vision you can get into a fist fight <with elemental punches!> with other trainers.)

How could humans get elemental punches?

I added an RPG like element that included equipable items (gloves, footwear, clothing, amulets) that would change, respectively, (punch type, kick type, type, ability).

Other data

All standard Pokemon personalities can be used.

Cannot evolve (DUH!)

Cannot be placed in the daycare (DUH!)

Can be healed instantly at pokemon center (HUH? Would the trainer end up inside a pokeball?)

Can be revived with revives.

Can use potions on self.

Hold items have effect.

Vulnerable to attract (EWW!)

Inherent ability is pickup.

Inherent type is fighting/normal (I have considered pure normal).

Punch and kick are both fighting type attacks.

Return and frustration have been modified (how would the relation system that normally works for this work on you?). They work on level disparity.

Frustration - more damage if opponent is higher level than you
Return - more damage if you are higher damage.

There is also a unique attack (learned at level 67):

Megaton Kick (James gives this name to Jessie's flying stomp that KO's the Seviper in the episode mentioned).

Type: Fighting
PP: 5
Base Power: 140
Accuracy: 70%
Other 40% chance of paralyzing

------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 6th grade the original concept was that this was a "last ditch" defense, usable only if all pokemon fainted (and defeating all pokemon that a trainer has would activate this).

I changed it so that it can be used at anytime. Fainting results in lead pokemon on map (can't do anything except enter pokemon center and get healed.)

I have considered making it so that if you get defeated you will revive out of battle with 1 HP.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll post more as I come up with more.

It would be kinda funny:

"Gym Leader Roxanne sent out Roxanne!"

Why dont you search a member of this forums called Living Doll and look at her sign? That will inspire you 100% XD

Do you mean real humans that tackle and blow fire and leech seed other humans or if you wake up one day as a pokemon(which is a very popular story from Pokemon mystery dungeon:Red and Blue and Discovering Time and Darkness)?Though im pretty sure that was a retorical question, I just want to check.

If humans became pokemons, are pokemon going to train us just like in that movie Planet of the Apes(again, check Living Dolls signature)?

Ha ha! I like the idea. I think humans should have relatively low base stats, but something similar to the box trick from Gen II should be possible, so you can become powerful if you fight a lot. Also, revives shouldn't work. You white out if you lose. Pokemon centers shouldn't be able to heal you, but any bed will.

I'm pretty sure Draconium meant you would be exactly like the trainers in the games, except that if you wanted to, you could fight yourself instead of using your Pokemon. Leech seed would also probably not be available without some really weird item.

Actually in the anime, pokemon centers did have a bed/hotel area so it could work. What about potions and berries?

Also, the only pokemon moves that you can use are fighting/normal type in addition to rock throw (In Gen I you could throw rocks at the Safari Zone pokemon).

Well, in that case Nintendo should fix the cloning glitch because GameFreak might end on a court because of clonming the people in the game...actually, if GameFreak releases the gam...NAh...

1.All standard Pokemon personalities can be used.

2.Cannot evolve (DUH!)

3.Cannot be placed in the daycare (DUH!)

1.How do you expect to humans that are invincile to sandstorm or humans who can levitate?

2.Actualy,a better will be if humans evolve. For example:Baby-->Lv20(years)man--->Lv54(years)Middle age man

or other examples:F baby-->Lv35(years)Woman
M baby-->Lv35(years)Man

or:Baby->happines+Lv34(years)Succesfull man

3.Babys can be puted in daycare in real world.

Sorry for double post.

Ok, to clarify (and verify Cheesus Is Lord's postulate).

This version is exactly like the trainers in the pokemon games, except you have a additional "pokemon" (yourself). This means that you can choose to send yourself out to fight in battles instead of a pokemon.

See this quote for clarification.

1.) I meant Pokemon personalities, abilities require amulets to change (inherent abillity is Pickup)

2.) You are playing as a regular pokemon trainer. Pokemon are not the trainers.
