Intro
It was a normal day on the Seregarden Forums RP district. You were looking through the threads, looking for something interesting to sign-up for, when, upon refreshing, you saw a notification. A visitor message, form a user named Skull. It consisted only of a single link to a sign-up thread:

72 Hours. That is how long the world has remaining. As the hour of reckoning draws nearer, your true powers awaken.

A tad short, and the only other bit of information is that the game is set in a small rural town in the present day, and the characters all have strange new powers. The board has been slow, though, so you sign up.

About
As you can probably tell, this RP is different from other ones. In addition to having an RP character try to avert the destruction of the RP world, you RP as that character's player, trying to avert the destruction of their own. The sign ups for the players are:
Name: The player's IRL name.
Gender: Should be self-explanitory.
Username: The name they use IRL.
Typing tics: How do they type that's different from the norm? Do they always give their font a new color? Never capitalize? Spell words wrong? You should have at least a couple.
Appearance: What does your character look like IRL?
Avatar: Include a picture of whatever your character put as their avatar. Preferably under 150x150 pixels.
Skills: Just one.
The RP will take place between 6 AM on December 10, 2012, and end at midnight, December 12, 2012. All characters start in a small rural town called Dalton.
Rules
-No godmodding.
-No tennising.
-Make sure to seperate your IRL character's actions from the RP character's actions. To do this, post your character's avatar above your IRL character's actions, and type normally. For RP posts your character makes, type in their style.
-Not much else. To make sure you read the rules, type "Dawn of the first day" in your character's typing style somewhere in their post.

Gender: Unknown. Will be referred to as male for simplicity's sake.
Typing tics: Skull has three typing styles, which he switches in between at random intervals. In the first one, he uses very good grammar, and always types in italics. In the second, he types in red, with poor grammar and spelling. Finally, in the third, he types in blue. When Skull types like this, he becomes very rude, mocking people in OOC.
