You have to be darker than death to be black?

I was just reading some thread and the topic came up that Iris is not black. I was somewhat surprised by this because people said she was not black because she was brown and that is indian....Wait, what?


So, no one ever heard of light skin black girls? I was unaware that indians also had afros. First off, I didn't really care what race she was, if the creators came out and said shes indian, I don't care I said oh, cooooool. It is just the fact that people in the other thread I read online automatically(from this forum) dismissed her as not being black at all because she is brown.

So, I can't assume she is black because of her afro and light black skin but they can assume automatically that she is not black because she isn't dark as night. Hmm, seems a bit unfair to me. The other thread got closed and so will this one because people started to get rude.

Hopefully that won't happen here(it will)

Making a thread when you've seen a similar thread closed is generally not a good idea.
