At the Mondo Marvel panel at the Baltimore Comic-Con on Saturday, Marvel Editor Tom Brevoort announced that a new Young Avengers miniseries will launch in January, tentatively titled "Young Avengers Presents." The issues of the miniseries will all be written by different different writers, and will each focus on the various characters of the team.

Look for a full panel report, as well as the names of the writers coming up later this afternoon, after the panel wraps.

Not QUITE what I was hoping for, but at this point, anything is better than nothing.

EDIT: We now have the writers.

Ed Brubaker - Patriot in #1.
Brian Reed - Hulkling meeting Captain Mar-vell in #2.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa - Wiccan and Speed in #3.
Paul Cornell - The Vision in issue #4.
"We haven't said who's doing the fifth issue. So there will be more Young Avengers stuff on the way."
