You know, those moments when your face resembles this?

What are some times when you've realised you've made a mistake? Something blown up in your face? Or something so good happened that you're absolutely astounded by your good fortune!? I wanna hear about them!

I used to have a hamster. A really lazy one too. Me and my sister made him a little house out of cardboard boxes, which he seemed to like. So we put him in there, and kind of forgot I guess. About 4 hours later I realised that my hamster was alone in a poorly made cardboard house with tons of opportunities to escape. I've never felt more panicked than I did in that very moment. My mom constantly told me not the leave him unsupervised, because he could get killed by a dog or just .. by chewing on wires. I rushed back into the room only to find him dozing of in the same place we left him. It was a big relief, but also kind of pathetic.

In 2015, I got caught mouthing off my supervisor when she was in earshot (I didn't know she was even in the room). I got written up for insubordination and foul language because I dropped an F-bomb in the same breath. I was really lucky she didn't fire me on the spot, but it was more likely because they had a shortage of workers at the place I worked at so they couldn't afford to fire me, not because she felt sorry for me. It was an "oh crap" moment at the time, but looking back, I really don't regret it. She was a nightmare to work with and I am happy she knows how I really felt about her.

Actually getting honours on my assignment work after thinking I was only going to scrape a pass. It was legit one of the weirdest "oh crap!!! that actually happened" moments ever ;-;

I'm not the (completely) terrible student I thought I was!!

(i also stood on my cat once walking down the stairs in the dark and I got super scared that I'd caused damage. She was cranky with me for ages after it :v)

I mean, in 2015, all the self realization started really kicking into gear. My life now is essentially just a series of consecutive plot twists, many of them distressing. I gotta wonder how often it's gonna be this way. I've calmed down a lot in recent months, at least. But it's still one hell of a ride, even if it is interesting.

I was playing a game on my GBA SP & and I was stuck on a level for a week straight. Got so angry that I snapped it in half.

I once snapped a gameboy sp in half because it had betrayed me. Similar situation.

Also because I couldn't catch one of the legendary birds in pokemon leafgreen. Didn't play it again for like, a good few weeks.

When I was a novice, I once poured an entire cup of water onto my phone in an attempt to clean it after it had fallen into sand. What happened next came as a shock to me.
I say, we learn something new everyday!
*shudders*
