I didn't see any of these around, so I'd like to see what music the people around here like.

My favorite band is Evanescence. I also like Nickelback, KISS, some Korn, Seether (GREAT!) and I also like old pop and rock, like Pat Benatar, Kim Wilde, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Asia, Aqua, A Ha, Duran Duran, Hoobastank (new), TATU, Lacuna Coil. That's some of it.

And no serious bashing, if you don't like a band, just say so, you don't have to utterly flame it.
 
I have a nostalgic love for 80s music, including Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, Tears for Fears, and the J. Geils Band.

My current playlist includes Van Halen, Steely Dan, Elton John, The Verve, Switchfoot, Bruce Springsteen, U2, New Order, and Pink Floyd.

I pretty much listen to almost any musical genre except country music and classical music.
 
No Doubt, Relient K, Dashboard Confessional, Darude, vintagey stuff (The Beatles and Three Dog Night), Evanescence, Linkin Park, and Good Charlotte.
 
Bob Dylan, Wallflowers, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Hoobastank, and David Gray. That's the...well...that's the short list.
 
Favorite? DMB. Just so easy to listen to.

Other favorites?

Take Grn's list, subtract Jimmie's Chicken Shack and Aerosmith, and add O.A.R., the Counting Crows, Matt Nathanson, and Jack Johnson.
 
I <3 Barenaked Ladies. Their album stuff is better than some of the humorous stuff you hear on the radio. The Christmas album is a winner, too.
 
No Doubt and Gwen are my all time faves.

I also like 80s and 90 ska. I like Madness, the Specails, the (English) Beat, the Scelector, Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, Save Ferris and Goldfinger.

I like Garbage, Alanis, The Killers and Jimmy Eat World too.

For me...there's Motorhead, Nine Inch Nails, Shadows Fall, Collective Soul, Static-X and oh...the Postal Service. Good stuff...

Now, now...don't everyone rush to put Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Don't wanna see someone hurt...

Sorry. I love Broadway showtunes. Currently the winning soundtrack is Sweeney Todd. I am totally obcessed with it right now. ^_^ I wanna go see the revival!
 
I'm sorry to say that I hardly like any of the bands listed... In fact, out of all the bands listed, the only ones I really like are A-Ha, Tears For Fears, New Order, and The Aquabats. I mostly listen to goth rock, death rock, psychobilly, new wave, synth pop, etc.

My favorites are The Birthday Massacre, Bauhaus, Joy Division, Siouxsie And The Banshees, The Spice Girls, The Cure, The Cramps, The Misfits, and The Meteors.
 
well Jimi Hendrix(the man that changed the world with his guitar) led zeppelin...iron maiden ...I mostly listen to rock...but I also like very much The Prodigy...they're really good
 
My personal faves are Sevendust and System of a Down.

I have a thing for some Linkin Park, some Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye West, and Ludacris, too.

But its mostly 7dust and SOAD.

I love ALL kinds of music, except rap and screamo, but I just happen to own a lot of their songs. Oh and anything Broadway is awesome.

My favorite heads back to the 70's-80's and now even today. Journey. My parents introduced me to them since they knew I was interested in Classic Rock, and now they're my favorite band. My favorite songs by them are: Separate Ways, Anyway you want it, Be Good to Yourself, and a new song called Higher Place. Awesome band. :)
