I always loved the Poketch. That Gadget had almost everything to keep be entertained. It also helped me lots in the game. It tells you whats going on in the Daycare without flying into the daycare, has a caculator app for math homework, & checks your pokemon's happiness :]

Definitely the GenIV PokeGear. A Town Map, Radio, phone, and clock all in one!
second would probably be the PokeNav

I'd like the Xtransceiver with Poketch and Gen IV PokeGear features. Appearance and technological abilities of the former, extra handy features of the latter two. Asking too much? :p

Meh...In usefulness it's a draw with Pokegear (IV) and Poketech for me.
However, I simply like Pokenavs simple look so much that I give my vote for it.
Just won by looks.

Pokenav.

I accidentally picked Gen II Pokegear, but I actually prefer Gen IV Pokegear. I like the features.

The Pokégear was an extremely useful item in G.II and G.IV, containing the ever-useful phone and map (as well as the radio) all in one item. Very useful, indeed.
The Pokénav was similar, but traded out the radio for a ribbon viewer. Pretty neat, but marginally less useful.
The Pokétch had a lot of fun little apps, but I didn't use a lot of them, not to mention it was a pain before Platinum added a back button.
I basically didn't use the Xtransciever outside of the few story functions.

Thus, my vote goes to the G.IV Pokégear - the fourth gen. version because it added Gym Leaders' rematch numbers, which I used frequently.

Isn't C-gear the Gen.V primary gadget and not Xtransceiver. I think it's the succesor to PokeGear. Also I like it since it has real world usage.

I picked the DP Pokétch because I find myself using it almost every time I play. I don't have Platinum, but I imagine the back button would be very handy.

I picked Gen IV Pokégear, as it has much to do, like calls, radio and clock. Although Pt Pokétch is a close second, with all of the handy apps!

The Pt Poketch is the most useful PokeGadget ever. D8 It does everything! FAR more useful than everything else.

I could never understand the PokéNav, like why does the center sometimes flash?

I voted for the Xtransceiver, but it was a close one with the PokéGear, so I went with looks.

I just voted for X-transceiver and the realised that X-transceiver =/= C-gear, whoops. In light of this, I change my vote to Pokégear (gen IV). The radio & skins are awesome :)

@PkmnGreen: The Pokénav flashes blue when there's a trainer nearby [read: on the route that you're on] who's ready for a rematch.

I like the Pokegear, from both generations! I think I would actually use it because it doubles as a cell phone! (although I don't really like the design much, its looks fragile)

Based on looks, I like the Pokenav. Its very simple and easy to use!

The Platinum Pokétch. It has the most features of all of them by far (albeit regardless of whether we actually needed them or not), including the daycare checker, marking and berry maps, a type effectiveness chart, a notepad and step count, analog and digital clocks, etc.
