Your favourite english movie ending

I was wonder what your favourite english ending song is. I exclude movies 1, 2 and 5 since they don't have single song but instead uses many songs from soundtrack. Other movies are included.

I personally like movie 9 ending. Not only it fits the movie, but also it proven PUSA can make a good song too if they want. But movies 3 and 7 endings were good too.
On the other hand, I really don't like Make a Wish, 'cause mix of english and japanese were too strange IMO. I personally prefer if they either resung the whole song or kept it in japanese at all.

I would say Movie 8 as I love how Lucario and Sir Aaron find each other. I also really like 9 because the song is really moving.

My favorite ending theme is definitely, We Will Meet Again.

It just seemed like the PERFECT song for them to use.


Not to mention, the fact that I really love that song!! ^_^

I also, really like "This Side of Paradise" from Destiny Deoxys. It's such a happy tune, and everything. That song's awesome!! XD

"Make a Wish" is easily my favorite, but I also voted "We Will Meet Again" since it's almost a close second, hard to explain. Make a Wish is a gorgeous song, I think. Ah well. Wish they had released it. We Will Meet Again is great to me, too, pretty uplifting, but Make a Wish owns it in every possible way.

This Side of Paradise is cool, and Make a Wish makes me cry because it's beautiful!

I'll side for Cele-B-R-A-T-E and We Will Meet Again. The Movie 9 ending was also good, but it's a long time since I've heard it. Make a Wish is also good for different reasons, but is not good enough for a vote.

Leaving out "Don't Say You Love Me" (movie 1) and "The Power of One" (movie 2) is a bit illogical, since they are the "main" ending themes. Neither compares to the others though.

Even though I agree those songs are good (and to be honest, The Power of One is one of my most favourite songs ever), they were unlucky because:

4Kids decided to go with the "have the entire soundtrack go by in two minutes" deal rather than sticking with one song for the end.

And my rule is clear, only one song in actual movie ending. Unfortunately, movies 1, 2 and 5 don't pass this rule.

From the list I really liked the ninth movie's song. It was well sung and sounded great too. Still, I really like the mix of songs they played during the first pokemon movie credits. Nice mix of popular songs at the time, IMO.

I voted for Make a Wish, not just because its a dub of one of the original songs (although that's a plus), but because it's simply the best song of all the ending themes. I can never get tired of it.

I also voted for To Know the Unknown, This Side of Paradise, We Will Meet Again, and Together We Make a Promise because I just love them all that much. The movie version of You and Me and Pokémon from Heroes is cool too. ...I need to learn how to be picky.

That may be your rule (and that's perfectly fine if you prefer your endings that way).

However, I'm sure that the reason why 4Kids/WB chose to do this for the 1st and 2nd movies was because those movies played in theaters. And with Pokemon movies, many fans choose to stay and watch all the credits (at least I did, anyway). When people did this, it was like they were getting a nice preview of that movie's soundtrack.


So in a way, yes, putting several/many songs in the movie's ending does make sense, when you consider the fact that some people like to stay in the theater and wait until they've seen all the credits. That was a smart move, I'd say. And it probably worked great, cause it helped them sell the 1st and 2nd movie soundtracks.

No offense guys, but I loved watching the end credits and listening to those songs! That was just one of the great memories I have, of watching the Pokemon movies at the theater.


And of course, when I found the First Movie soundtrack and the Pokemon 2000 soundtrack in a store, I bought them right away. XD

I too love watching the ending animations to the movies...when the right song is playing over it. I don't know how anyone can like the music mix done for the first few movies that sounded like a deaf monkey put it together.

I'm also surprised at all the love the ending theme to the Lucario movie's getting. I thought it was incredibly laughable with its almost Diamond & Pearl level of cheesiness.
